I had some work done to my car here in Somerset last Saturday. They told me my back tires were bald that I should go to dumbauld's That they could put tires on and they're open till 12:00 so I left Taylor's off East main Street went straight to the tire shop. They put the tires on. I came home. Started the car up this morning. Made it to Berlin. The front end started shaking really bad. Did not think I was going to make it back to Somerset. Made it back to the mechanic mechanic just called me and said they did not tighten up the lug nuts so I called the company and told them hey nobody's gotten hurt. There's no damage done to the vehicle but you guys got to make sure you tighten up the lug nuts before the vehicle leaves instead of saying oh my God, we are so sorry for any inconvenience. The guy turned around says we tighten our tires up so this is my first step and I'll get a hold of the general. Next all's they had to do is just have a little consideration and re -clarify me that they will double check on lug nuts before leave and shop. I would not go back to this place. Got a flat tire on the turnpike, hobbled the car to Dumbauld's and they took me right in, replaced the tire (side wall slash) and had me back on the road within a half hour. Very helpful and fairly priced. I can't thank them enough! I found them because the workers at Advance Auto Parts recommended them. read more

When my tire started making a horrible noise at the start of a family trip, I steered my van towards Dumbauld's. I had seen their ads on TV many times and it was everything you'd expect from a business that's been around since 1945: clean, professional, friendly and knowledgeable, dedicated to the customer and to their community. Really solid men who work there. They quickly saw that it was just some lug nuts had gotten loose and tightened them up for me, no charge. What a great business. Excellent Staff, Service and Pricing! We have a 48 ft enclosed trailer and blew a tire on the turnpike. After putting on the spare, we pulled into Dumbauld's and they had 6 new trailer tires, the size we needed in stock. We decided to replace all of them so we wouldn't have to worry about the situation happening again. They mounted and installed them for us immediately and also mounted two of our old tires for spares. Our tire pressure light came on during a 700 mile trip. We'd hit a large chunk of concrete on the road earlier and assumed that damaged it. The guys at Dumbauld's looked at our car right away, took a wheel off, looked for damage, and found none. They showed us how to turn off the tire pressure light and said if it came on again, we should stop, but they thought we were okay. An all around great experience. read more

Amazing experience! Got a flat tire on the turnpike and called, they were able to take us right away and not only did they have tires in stock, but were able to replace with a used tire so we wouldn't have to pay an arm and a leg and it would get us to our destination. Great place, fast / good service! I drove to the area on not so great tires on my 2001 Subaru Outback with Winter Storm Draco approaching! While getting gas, I asked the driver of Hidden Valley Resort Subaru that was filling up behind me where I should go. He told me he just took one of their Subaru's to Dumbauld's for tires and that's where he would recommend. The area is pretty rural but it never dawned on me to call for appt as many people switch into snow season tires. When I showed up at Dumbauld's the next morning the guy looking at the schedule didn't know where he could fit me in but he did. There are now 4 great tires on the car and it was done very quickly. On a recent trip from Pittsburgh to Ocean City, NJ, I got a flat tire on the turnpike. Luckily, a very nice Penndot worker showed up and helped with the spare tire. He then called the guys at Dumbauld and found out they had the tires in stock for us. We were only about 30 miles away but they were set to close. They stayed open for us and got two new tires on within 15 minutes! It felt like NASCAR! And the best part? Awesome prices and no extra charge to stay open. Great service! Great prices! These guys were friendly and crazy quick! We blew a tire on the turnpike and a nice stranger who stopped to assist recommended this service station. He called and let them know we were coming, fortunately they were open til 8:00pm, and found out that they had our size tire available. They were ready to jump to work as soon as we pulled in. Can't believe how fast they got the job done. We ended up not losing much time at all off of our trip. My wife and I were driving from Michigan to Washington DC. We stopped in Somerset to get lunch and noticed that our front tire had a bubble in the sidewall. Used my phone and saw that Dumbauld's was well rated and nearby. Dropped my wife off at a restaurant and went to Dumbauld's. Even though they were quite busy, they had the tire I needed (and at a good price), then had it on in time for me to join my wife for lunch! Terrific, old-school place.
