He pulled through and told me about this place. Was it a bit out of the way to get to? Yes, but the service you receive while here is second to none. I pulled in not sure if I was at the right place, but was reassured once I was inside when I was greeted with, "The big door works just as good." To my defense, I'm a bit off when it comes to garages/body shops. I know the basics about cars, but good forbid someone asks for my assistance with fixing a car, I'm better to stand there and hold a beer than hand you a whats-a-hoozit. This goes for a garage that specializes in vehicle maintenance as well. Upon arrival I noticed that they do not take cards here, so I had to venture out to an ATM. By the time I had returned, no more than ten minutes, the gentleman was done with inspecting my vehicle. He was very friendly, a great conversationalist, and didn't mince words. He didn't attempt to tell me something was in need of fixing, he just suggested some future maintenance. While he was writing up the paperwork and getting the new sticker for the window I got to meet the dog. By far the best thing to happen here! I mean, come on, anytime you meet a dog in a business (or anywhere for that fact) you have to stop, drop and pet. And the dog was very well mannered even though he may have been territorial. Once I was sniffed and he was petted, we were on good terms. Definite place to look into if you happen to be in the area and in need of some type of work for your vehicle. I used to go to a big name company that seemed pretty expensive and I won't mention the name because I don't want to slander anyone if I'm wrong but went there fir many years, hot car inspected there for years and this past Fall a piece of my car fell down from underneath, an arm I think it's called, it and other areas on frame were rusted, I think they would have seen that if car was up for inspections over the years? If I'm wrong I'm sorry but thank Jesus it fell down as I was pulling out in front of my house instead of elsewhere especially on a hill. That could have been very dangerous. After inspection, they found several other issues that needed to be professionally addressed. They kept me informed every step of the way with regard to both time and cost. Luckily for me, they are focused on making the car 'right'. An older muscle car is a considerable investment. Nick and Doug have several classics of their own. It is a relief to find a shop that would take the time for fix my car the way that they would want their own classic car be fixed. I will be back to address a few bigger issues when time permits. I used to be a regular customer of 2 years at my local Jiffy Lube until their lack of attention to…read moredetail ruined my car. I came in one day for my usual oil change, the appointment went along with no issues. This is the only reason they get 1 star, I've never had any problem with the staff there, they have always treated me well. Not long after my oil change, my motor dies. Turns out, all the oil had leaked out due to a loose oil filter and left my car running on fumes. I had no idea it was happening until the engine light turned on and it was already too late. Ended up costing more than the car was worth to repair and Jiffy Lube refused to help cover costs. They fed me lies and false claims and did a half-assed "inspection" of the dead vehicle, claimed it looked like it had been tampered with. Which I found interesting considering they were the last people to even be under the hood of my car. Long story short, they denied any help or any blame, and now I'm stuck having to find a new vehicle because of their poor service. I used to recommend this place to anyone, but now I will never be going back again and telling anybody else NOT to utilize their services.
