We continued driving and it eventually restored itself and came back on. This happened a few times before we realized we better head off the PA Turnpike and find a repair shop. Lucky for us, we found Hostetler's Garage! Dan was super nice taking care of us even though it was after 4:00 and his shop closed at 5:00. I needed a new alternator, and he told us the job would be about 4 hours. He had already promised a couple of his customers that he would work late and finish their cars, but he made sure he had my needed part that night so that he could get to work on my car 1st thing in the morning. His employee, Corey, was nice enough to load the 4 of us and our luggage into his truck and drive us to a local hotel for the night. When my car was finished early the next afternoon, Dan drove my car to the hotel for us while Corey followed him to take him back to the garage. We were all amazed at the way Dan and Corey went above and beyond to help us out! It was immensely appreciated! I would highly recommend Hostetler's Garage to anyone in that area. If I lived closer, I would definitely be switching to them as my mechanic. They are awesome!

They used intimidation to charge my son $416.00 after wrecking into the front of their truck and hurting them. My son just finished serving 8 years in the Army, and he was moving from his base at Fort Meade. When I tried to talk with one of the owner's Allen, He was extremely rude to me too. He laughed at the fact that I was upset. To prove that this company is the worst, an old man and his truck stopped to help my son. He was a Veteran too. The appointment was made almost 1 week in advance. I showed up on the day of the appointment at 7:15 A.M. (they open at 6:30 A.M.). After I reviewed what was to be done for my vehicle, I was told that they would give me a call. I waited (wasted!), all day waiting for that call! They close at 5 P.M. I gave them until 5:10 P.M. and called back. When I called back, I got a recorded message that they were closed!!! I drove there, tried the locked door, saw someone was still inside and I knocked. The guy who said he would call answered the door. At first he did not seem to recognize me. Then he started to apologize with the feeble excuse of how busy they were that day. I took my vehicle there to have the sunroof repaired. $150 and 4 hours later, they text me is…read moredone. Except all they did was confirm that the sunroof was broken. I would need another appointment to get it fixed. If they "knew it was broken they would have scheduled more time." I guess starting that the sunroof motor is not working and the sunroof is stuck open didn't explain enough that it is broken. Then I get the vehicle back and it smells like soneine was smoking in it. They get a one star because they at least changed the oil without screwing it up. Besides that, if it were possible for negative stars I would have done it.

So beware taking your vehicle there for service because they do not standby there responsibilities!
