Easy in and out service with card/Apple Pay access. Usually crowded on weekends and afternoons

I have been contemplating how to approach this review. On one hand a problem less customer could give this place between a four or five star review. On the other hand, a customer with a problem could give this place a one or maybe a two. I'll be the "middle guy (at 2.5 Stars) who lowers it to bring attention", because the bare basics are being done, like filling up the soaps and liquids. Unfortunately, though, that is just about it. If a machine is broken, it is goodbye hard earned cash. It happened to me, but no clear attendant was occupying the property. There was also no number, other than the one that *may* be it on Google/Yelp/Apple. Even then, it not like a message can be left to resolve the issue. I should have dropped the money in a paper shredder. Before the issue of payment cards comes up, I would ask you this simple question; "Would you want to risk swiping your card through some machine on an unoccupied property with one 'Ring Alarm' Camera?" I would rather not and will stick to washing my own car or paying $5 for a wash at a fully occupied Valero on PWC Parkway. If you want to take the risk, you can get a fair wash for under $5! Just know the risks are there and the unpredictable issues will be left unresolved. read more

I brought my car there and put in $12.00 ( a five and 7 ones) and got about 7 minutes of car wash. Feel I was ripped off....I have been using that facility for years and have never had that happen before. It was the second bay from the street. read more

Very clean space, very helpful worker able to assist with any doubt that you have. Definitely recommended with 10 to 15 Mins you are done. I did vacuum, soap and rinse with less than 10$ and less than 15 Mins. You can buy there or bring your own towel so you can dry your car! A+++++ read more

Sunday morning project for all three in family to get our cars cleaned. Caravaned to White Horse and it was packed, long line, people cutting in front of each other. After 20 minutes decide to try Dumfries Self Service Car Wash. Anthony saw 3 of us pull up and came to great us and help us get going. Couldn't have been nicer and easier. Our son even said "there's more pride in doing it yourself anyways". Found out née place to go for good car wash and a lot less hassle. Thanks Anthony! read more

One of the few hand car washes that takes credit cards. Never found another one around DC metro. Never had any issues but it can get crowded. read more

Good car wash, the only thing I don't really like is the time limit. I wish they had some bays available for bucket washing with just a normal hose and not a power washer. read more

I love this carwash because not only does it give me that nostalgic old school feel but i am in total control of the quality of my labors. Open 24 hours is a bonus because i often times have last minute road trips and need a quick detailing. Perfectly priced! read more

I don't know what is in the water or chemicals they use, but I washed my car and rinsed my brand new car and all the trim looked like a leopard print when it was dry. The spots that were left were horrendous. I would never use this place again. Beware! read more

This car wash is good for having everything that it needs for a self service car wash. The one thing that I really didn't like was the pace of the timer. It was definitely going at a faster pace than it should, I checked it with my watch. read more

NEVER use your debit card or credit card at this car wash. they will always charge you the maximum rate of $10.00 instead of the $3.00 that it's supposed to be. this has happened to me on multiple occasions and i've contacted the owner both times and never heard back. what a disgusting way to run a business. read more

Nice place to wash car! Only Hand car wash place I've seen in 10 mile radius thats not shady! Bad tging is it gets crowded and you cant clean with a bucket if someone is waiting which is 80%. @ $2.50 for 5min I'd expect to have time to clean my car good without being rushed tho. read more

Only place in the area I know with self service car wash. I dont like taking my car into drive thru car washing because im very picky about my V12 TT engine getting all soaked under the hood. For jus $2.75 this place works the best for me. read more
