I took it to a recommended shop, and while I appreciated the effort and honesty, I was told the car might not be worth a major investment. At 79, with no car note and no desire for one, I chose a different path. I had the car transferred to The Bug Shop, where David, the owner, confirmed the hard news--the engine was gone. Not what I wanted to hear, but what I needed to hear. I followed his recommendation for sourcing a reputable engine, purchased it, and had it shipped directly to the shop. I have ran multiple shops my self and it is ran very well with the exception of Jenny b, her ego is is up there as well. like she is better then everyone else thats why I had to get involved with the owner the inspection process was spot on and so was the repair process on my valve cover leak if I had anything to criticize it would be find a new service manager shes a great person but I over heard a conversation about another customer and how she talked down on them because they didn't get approved for the 3rd party financing options... once I got ahold of the owner he assured me it would be handled.. all in all it was a great experience and the technicians where amazing.

This man is a total rip off.I went to buy a car from him the car looked nice and ran decent I gave…read morehim 2500 of the 3500 and was to pay the rest in two payments so I specifically ask him on more than one occasion if he was sure the motor and transmission where good to which he replied that the car would take me wherever I wanted it to I also told him that I'm a single mom and in dire need of a car and could not afford to loose this money to which he replied he's a parent as well and would never do anyone wrong like that my brother ask him as well was the car in good shape.so I get the car drive it about 25 miles home the next morning I drove it maybe 15 miles and a couple hours later another 15 miles the car broke down having transmission trouble so I texted him to let him know and see how we gonna resolve this I have had the car all of maybe 12 hours and have not even been 60 miles in it and it's broke down so the first text he said he was still working he would call when he got off this was 930 at night he never called I told him that this is really a bad way to do business but that he could keep the 500 for his time when really it only my time wasted and return the 2000 I took the car to auto parts store to see if they could diagnose it they said it had no codes but with the symptoms of the car now and the fact that it's a 2015 car and has no saved codes only points to one thing that someone erased them so I will be tKing the car to Ford today to find out all the codes that have been erased and at what milage I sent him a text last night explaining that if I didn't hear from him by 9 am today we would be going to court he finally texted back said that he was not returning my money and still expects the payments.i have had 2 other mechanics tell me that there was no way he didn't know the transmission was bad and he choose to erase the codes and sell me a car he knew was bad and he's a mechanic are you for real any ways just wanted to let everyone know he's a fraud he's a rip off and he has no morels I hope he has the day and life he deserves and we will be going to court

After their "diagnostic," I was told my rotors were warped and agreed to repairs totaling about $2,200, believing they had actually identified the problem I came in for. They didn't. The original noise, wobble, and vibration were still there. I brought the car back, and suddenly they discovered that my driveshaft was completely loose--and now I'm being quoted another $1,500+ just for the part. How does a shop perform a diagnostic for noise, wobbling, and vibration and completely miss a major driveline issue? I spent thousands of dollars based on their diagnosis, the actual problem was never fixed, and now I'm expected to spend thousands more for something that should have been identified the first time. At this point, I feel completely taken advantage of. I would not trust this shop with another repair.
