You have to take the good with the bad. I chose this venue to replace all 4 of my tires. I was charged a fair price and the car drives smooth. I was originally quoted 2 hour wait. It ended up taking 5 hours because they needed to find the last tire at a different shop. Luckily for me, I had a ride and didn't stay at the shop for the entire 5 hours. Interesting place. On October 18, 2025, I came in asking to sort out an issue with a TPMS sensor, and during the conversation I also asked about wheel balancing. The receptionist (who, as it later turned out, is a senior employee, at least the other receptionist calls him "Boss") said, "Yes, we do that." Then this "Boss" told me that there were simply no tire pressure sensors installed and that they needed to be put in. Okay, no problem. The mechanics installed them, put the wheels back on, and I happily drove home. About 10-15 minutes later on the road, I realized the steering wheel was shaking way more than it should (Toyota Tacoma) at around 65-70 mph. With my very limited car knowledge, I figured they had just overinflated the tires and now I could feel every single bump in the road. I went back to the tire shop and told the second receptionist about it. And he goes: "Well, you didn't do the balancing." The hell?! Wasn't that exactly what I brought up at the very beginning of my conversation with your "Boss"? Okay, let's assume he just forgot to put wheel balancing on the work order. Even so, wouldn't it be logical to offer this service after installing TPMS sensors? Isn't it common sense that when you add something weighing about 50-100 grams to a wheel, the original balance gets thrown off and you need to rebalance the wheels? Not to mention, that's extra income for the shop. You'd think they'd be interested in making more money. Surely they don't want to see a customer back just 30 minutes after they left, right? Usually, people come back pissed and with questions. But apparently, these clowns at the front desk figured, "Ah, whatever, it'll be fine. Let him stick that vibrating steering wheel up his ass and enjoy the ride," pardon my French. While I was trying to calmly, like an adult, figure out the "Boss's" logic, he abruptly cuts me off and says: "We'll never service you again." Okay, fine, that happens. I also work with customers, and I can understand his feelings. But the thing is, this pussy boy didn't want to listen. He didn't want to hear. He basically told me to go to hell, politely, in business language. As a result, I wasted twice as much time and gas for nothing, and ended up ruining my mood. In my entire life, I've only left a couple of negative reviews after receiving any kind of service. In other cases, if something went wrong, I usually blamed it on bad luck or simple human error. When it comes to service, I'm often on the side of the person providing that very service. At the very least because they have to deal with the widest and most unpredictable range of people every single day. They have to explain the same simple things over and over again. But the thing is, this time I had to be the one explaining simple, obvious things to the "Boss" of this place Dude, just talk to your customer. Give them a little attention read more

Came here for an oil change. Just an oil change. Made an appointment for 1 PM but showed up at 12:30. They were pretty busy so I figured it would be a while, and I was willing to give them some leeway, but jeez! It took them about 2 hours to change my oil! I watched the guy walk up to my car, stare blankly at the underside, and just walk away half a dozen times. He didn't pull out any tools until it had been about an hour and a half! Always superior service! I stumbled upon this place years ago when I first moved to midtown. Needless to say city living brings city potholes,nails, screws, and whatever else! Recently, I found there was a nail in my tire. I had a warranty for my tires with Goodyear but of course they would say the repair wasn't covered, hole to close to the cell wall blah blah blah. They recommended I replace the tire. Well I knew exactly where to go- Tiresouth - My favorite place! I had a dentist appt and STILL made it on time with the repair done right! We took my KIA in for brake pads/ rotators, coolant, transmission flush, differential, tire alignment, power steering flush, and intake system cleaner for a total of $1,835.00 back in Feb. 2024. My wife later found a screw driver left under the seat, not a big deal, then 5,000 miles later I noticed coolant leaking from the expansion tank and took it to Kia for warranty, they found this clamp that was left on the hose when they did the coolant flush. I also found clamps that were dropped into the engine bay as well. Very sloppy work by this technician; I will not be going back for any service. read more

PLEASE DO NOT!! BRING YOUR CAR HERE!! I came for a simple tire alignment and rotation. I received my car back with my wheel stuck pointing toward the left (as shown in the picture). When I called back and asked what had happened, the man responded in a slightly defensive manner asking if I hit any potholes lately. I stated no, since I am not the only person who drives my car. He went on to tell me that "some part" of my car was bent out of place but failed to tell me which part, despite having worked on my car for hours for simple maintenance. They also neglected to call me during the service about this issue and failed to tell me at pick up. (If it is a suspension issue, This is a dangerous way to operate a vehicle and my wellbeing and safety was not at the forefront of their concern.) Okay. My rear camera is also now angled incorrectly, which happened post-shop visit. This is not the first time I have experienced my car coming back not in the same condition, even if they aren't major. If you are a woman, PLEASE COME WITH A MAN, or save yourself the trouble and go to your local dealership. This is a shady place. UPDATE: The dealership said it was a bad tire pull. Every single thing needs to be revamped at this store. Do not stop here unless you want to deal with people who obviously don't care and don't know what they are doing. There is a serious need for this place to shut down for two weeks and train every single individual in the store, including the manager. I stopped at this location to have a simple patch on my tire due to a nail, causing it to go flat. Everything was fine until I got on the highway and was doing about 60 to 65 miles an hour and my steering wheel on a 2022 Toyota 4runner began bouncing Violently up and down side to side and this has never been a problem on this vehicle. I had to return to the shop to find out what the problem was. Evidently whoever did the patch repair failed to rebalance the tire before putting it back on the vehicle, which is a normal practice when patching a tire. In addition to having to go back to the shop for them to rebalance or balance my tire When I left the establishment, my vehicle stopped about 2 miles down the road because the keys were not in my vehicle. I called the shop and they said the keys were left between the hood and my windshield. When I asked them what they thought I should do. They told me to retrace my steps. I had to explain to the individual that I drove away from their place and my vehicle stopped because the keys were not in it so I looked through the vehicle no keys called them to find out that they had left them on The hood or in between the hood and the glass. My keys had fallen off the vehicle when I drove away from the place at that point, I was done with this place. I had to walk back toward the tire shop to find my keys laying in the middle of the road. Again, there are a lot of tire repair places on this road. Do not stop at this location. They are useless. I got no apology for having to come back. I got no apology for not not having been given my keys back to me and if I had the time to return to the shop, I would probably be in jail. The work they did to the front end is good. When they returned my vehicle the bolts on the drivers side of my lift kit were loose and, I now have an exhaust leak. I tried every day after I got my truck back on Monday and cannot get through. TireSouth on Howell Mill WAS a 5 star for me. Have been going there at least 5+ years but this time March 2025 not so much. Howell Mill branch changes personnel a LOT it seems? Went for flat tire, ended up needing a new one AGAIN due to entire City of Atlanta is construction zone!! Added an oil change/tire rotate, fluid check $99 special. Asked approx how long, was told approx 1hr (sounded about right). Then they were done in 20min and ready for payment. I actually said that seemed a bit TOO quick (red flag went up in trust category) and they made a joke about "ha, well we can take longer if you want" Paid the bill then car was still in back for another 1/2hr. Usually pay then drive away. . . Left directly for my 4hr drive to Savannah - immed after leaving TireSouth my dashboard check !! coolant lite and the oil light now ON due to "overfilling" were the words the dash indicator light used. not sure how that would happen with expert mechanics performing the maintenance? oil was to be drained replaced (correct # quarts of 50/50 oil per VW mfgr) and correct fill level for coolant is clearly indicated on the dispenser under the hood. I had mixed experience here, I needed my rotators and brakes changed and went with an appointment first to get the estimate. It took over 2 hours to get the estimate (even with an appointment, but ok it was a busy day and they said they were short staffed) and I left with the agreement I would come back to get it done. I drop off my car said day and left across the street to wait, they told me it would be about an hour and 1/2 to 2 hours. I come back 2 hours later and they hadn't even started on my car and not contacted me to update me on it either. I ended up leaving as I had appointments to get too. I guess for small tire issues this would be great, but for anything else unless you want to wait forever it may be better to go elsewhere. read more

Been coming here with multiple cars for years however I was really disappointed at the lack of Covid awareness by the staff today. Not a single person was wearing a mask, not even the cashier that was two feet from me! Look folks, this is tight quarters and it's only a matter of time before the staff gets infected by themselves or a customer that takes the same attitude( that they know something we don't: THE PANDEMIC IS OVER!????) Come on, this is basic stuff here to wear a mask. I'll be looking down the street to have any service done until the end of the pandemic. Took my car there for a simple tire replacement and a tire alignment. They initially said the wait time was about an hour. But I ended up waiting for four hours with no notice. When I confronted them with the issue, they were extremely defensive and dismissive. In the end, they gave me a 10 dollars off with a 220 dollar service that was clearly not worth the money. Aubrey and the other gentlemen working the register then explained the program for free rotation, balance and flat repairs for life when you purchase new tires.
