Just moved to Omaha from out of town and when I found this coffee shop was within walking distance I had to check it out. I've only tried a few of their iced coffee drinks so far but they've all been excellent. Not to mention they have multiple dairy/nondairy options available like oat milk, which I prefer in my coffee. However, its not just the delicious drinks that keep me coming back, but the above and beyond customer service. Whenever I walk there with my dog he gets lots of love and attention as well as a tasty treat from the staff. And while the inside is a bit small, they have a cute little outdoor seating area with a tie off for dogs to enjoy the space as well. As a non-coffee drinker, I was hesitant to come here when someone offered, but I am so glad I said yes! The shop itself is small - there is no sit down space inside, but there is a drive-through. While there were many coffee options listed on the blackboards overhead, my eyes immediately went to the laminated "May menu" they had on the counter that had a nice mix of coffee and non-coffee drink specials. On a whim I ended up getting the Violet Lemonade Spritz with cream and it was delightful. It was non-caffeinated, sweet and tart, refreshing, and bubbly. I liked it so much that I dragged my husband here less than a week later so I could get it again. He ended up getting a double shot of espresso, which he enjoyed while I drank my second Violet Lemonade Spritz of the week in Memorial Park in bliss. read more

My actual lifeblood & a vital part of my daily commute!! It's nice to have a small business option with a drive thru in such a convenient location. The lady who works the window most mornings (I believe her name is Rosemary?) is an absolute ray of sunshine. She always sets the mood for a great day!! I am addicted to Mango Red Bull Bellinis - I used to get Red Bull infusions from Scooter's every day when I lived out west for a bit, but DDS has so many more flavor options & better bang for your buck. They're much more refreshing than just a plain Red Bull, for days you need caffeine but aren't feeling a coffee vibe. If you are feeling a coffee vibe, the Dirty Harry is my personal fave, but the options are literally ENDLESS. Stopping by here is such a lovely start to my day that I genuinely don't know where I'd be without it!!! read more

I love grabbing coffee here! The baristas are super friendly and Dundee is one of the most hip neighborhoods in Omaha. The coffee selection is broad, the variety of flavors- S'mores, Turtle, and Carmel allow me to bring my teen, junior coffee drinker along while I can enjoy an Americano. I love these people. This tiny coffee shop bursts with kindness and neighborliness. There's a drive up window, but if you park and walk inside you get to enjoy the cozy decor, which includes a shelf of books, a stack of board games and a smattering of calming wall art. There's a good number of syrup flavors available and they'll mix up any combination you'd like. If you drink "just coffee," there's three to choose from, and they'll help you pick if you're not sure which one will suit your palate. Bagels are imported from the Dakotas !! In my newer season of motherhood, I've learned to flock to places with drive thru availability. Dundee double shot is a great option for a quick coffee! I've not made it inside yet, so I can't speak to that, but the staff at the window were helpful, seemed to enjoy their jobs, and offered quick service. Their prices are pretty comparable to what you'd spend at most other spots in town. I ordered a coconut milk latte on this last visit and was pleased with the creaminess of the latte and the sweet and smooth espresso. read more

Such a great little coffee shop in my neighborhood! I usually frequent the drive-through as I mainly stop on my way to work. The line always moves quickly and the employees are super friendly. They offer a nice variety of treats including Holly's Healthy Holes but my favorite thing about this coffee shop is the large, explanatory menu. With all the fancy new options these days, ordering coffee can be intimidating and that sometimes stops me from trying something or somewhere new. This huge menu is posted so that you can peruse while you're waiting in line and then again when you're at the window. It has illustrations showing the difference between latte, americano, cappuccino, etc., etc. Seriously, so many more options plus different milks, sugar free syrups, fruit smoothies and the list goes on and on. If you can't find something you like here, I'd be surprised. Can't wait for the weather to warm up because they have a cute little side patio I'd like to try out. read more

For the foreseeable future we will continue to stay home with exception of occasional rides in the car. Yesterday we availed ourselves of the free wi-fi in Aksarben Village. I watched the new Phryne Fisher movie on my phone in the car while the dogs watched the few people going by. Today we paid a visit to the drive- thru window of Dundee Double Shot Coffee just north of Dodge on 50th. I learned about breves there from a very attractive sign on their wall. It actually shows drawings of the various drinks with descriptions. Now I don't have to ask the difference between a latte and a cappuccino, for example. They also have very good donuts. I'm sure they have other tasty treats, but I just asked about donuts. They had a glazed chocolate that hit the spot. Double Shot is being very conscientious about viruses & germs. My donut was carefully wrapped in tissue before bagging. I was kind of far from the drive up window so we both had to stretch a bit to complete the transaction. When my card was returned it included a Clorox type wipe so I could clean it & my hands. That was a very thoughtful touch. My dogs got treats & I got great coffee. Maybe in a few days when I get the urge to go somewhere we'll make a return visit. read more

Cute little coffee shop hidden away amongst the Dundee neighborhood. I was looking for a local owned shop in my area and this one fit the bill. Housed inside of an old laundry mat, this shop has a dizzying amount of choices on the menu. We were in a rush and opted to take the drive through. Sat there for 10 mins trying to decide what to get--there is truly something for everyone. And some really creative and intriguing selections to choose from. Staff was sweet, attentive and super helpful in outlining the details of certain drinks and making recommendations. I got the Salted Irishman and my companion chose the Dirty Harry. The shop was dead but we were still told to pull forward and that they would bring our drinks out. The girl who brought out our drinks spilled mine before she got to my window and went inside to replace it. Waited a good 10 mins for a replacement drink, but it was brought out and we drove off. Now...my drink? Was absolutely plain coffee & creamer. Not a hint of Irish creme, or caramel, or even salt. And my companions drink just tasted like overly strong coffee with a splash of cream. We were assured by the staff that the drinks were flavorful and sweet..but they did have an option to add on additional flavor or extra at an additional cost. Which makes me wonder if that's why our drinks were so plain, because they found a sneaky way to charge extra. I'll give this place another shot when summer hits and I can spend some leisurely time on the patio cooling off with iced coffee. As it stands now, I don't know that I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

And this is still THE go to place for specialty drinks, in my opinion. I'm still trying to figure out specifically which coffee roasts I don't like so I can not get them, so it's not fair to fault someone for my lack of knowledge and failures in ordering. Coffee is complicated like that and I'm easily tempted by flavored blends. So when I find something I like, I generally stick with it. Tired of making the drive to Scooter's on Center after preschool drop-off, I remembered this place was close by. It always caught my attention due the cute outdoor seating area. Unfortunately, I never stopped because I usually find myself in Dundee in the late afternoon/evening. Last week, I finally decided to hit the drive thru and I'm glad that I did. Now I'm not a coffee connoisseur but I know that the two varieties that I've tried (one iced latte and one hot) were both tasty and did the trick. Review way overdue after ordering from here at least 20 times in the past month, which made me survive the antartic cold from February 2021. This place is located half a block into Dundee if you go west on Dodge and 50th. I had heard a lot from this place from excellent reviews to mediocre ones but taste is subjective and so is personal experience. The place is small but it has a nice area outside for warmer times. Its decorated with a pseudo-rustic feel and you can sense the coffee brewing as you enter the store. It has a good selection of coffee mixes as well as teas. It also has small snacks to pair your coffee blend. It also has a drive-thru for when youre in a hurry! The staff is super friendly and will give you their personal recomendations at request. Overall, lovable place with great coffee. Price is like a Starbucks but you know what, this place has personality! read more

This is a tiny little coffee shop in an old laundromat, tucked off a busy corner in Omaha's historic Dundee neighborhood. Of the several times I've been here over the years, the staff has always proven to be super friendly and will answer any questions you might have. They have all your favorite coffee and espresso drinks plus a decent selections of snacks like bagels and donuts. There are usually a few locals (usually an older crowd) milling talking about the neighborhood as well. I always order the Kona-blend because, well, Kona is the best. In fact, it may have been the best thing I have done in a while! This place is just great! Inside, it's so inviting, feel at home kind of thing, with a barista who greets you as you walk into the door! Dundee Double Shot, as you look at the menu, may seem a little overwhelming, but there are so many different people out there with different tastes, that you kinda need that kind of menu! Well, it is definitely worth your time looking at all they offer. I settled on the Kona Mocha and I have to tell you that it was SO GOOD! Yum! I'm not sure if it had to do with the Kona blend coffee they used or the fact that I didn't get sugar free, but it was so delicious! A must try if you like chocolate and coffee. Another thing I really like about Dundee Double Shot is that fact that they also sell paintings, stained glass, and jewelry that are made by local artists! I purchased an owl stained glass from here and love it! I like to come in now about once a month or more if I have a chance just to see what new art they have to sell AND get coffee :) Dundee Double Shot also has a large fish tank that kids love if you bring them in with you. They're Frangelica flavored coffee took me on a tastebud ride. Loved it with a little creamer and piping hot. Seating is quirky and reminds me of my grandma's house, in a very good way. Familiar. Comfy. And functional. The artwork is amazing and incredibly inspirational for those of us who want to have something for the eyes palate as well as coffee. Great late 60s-70s music on Monday, not sure it's the same on every day. Very groovy place. Can't wait for warmer weather to sit outside. Free Wifi. The staff here is above and beyond friendly, courteous and knowledgable of the overwhelming menu. They have a number of quick grab and go snacks (daily fresh donuts, yes please). For a heavily altered and fun coffee drink or smoothie this is the spot, but for those seeking to satisfy a purer espresso or espresso based need this is not the place. Okay, the fact that I adore this little coffee shop is because of 4 important things: 1) a drive through 2) a patio, grassy area equipped with bench and metal pole to leash your dogs on 3) a sitting area inside 4) and most importantly kona coffee from captain cook hawai`i! One of the first things I noticed when my sister took me to this wee little shop was the coffee bags hanging on the wall, they have coffee from all over! It's such a cute shop with great coffee that I wish I had more reasons to head over here just to get their coconut kona coffee! I know for sure that I would come here daily if I lived closer. Not only do they sell coffee but they also have these cute little stained glass pieces of art hanging right as you walk in to your right. The staff here are pretty cool.
