Stopped in after a particularly obscure foreign film over at the Dundee. Not only is this place dog friendly, it was nearly full of friendly pooches. Thankfully there were no dog fights! We took our coffee outside and local resident Susie B was sipping a latte. I didn't want to bother her, but I gave her a quick word that I appreciated all of her help for Hillary. Sad! I didn't even bother to look at the prices, but who cares? Starbucks has conditioned us to pay up for quality. The decor is college basement chic. read more

What a great little place with a fantastic staff! I got a berry smoothie, a banana and a cup noodles! I dropped my car off at the full service gas station across the street and I'll be in here editing for a bit. The new Dundee Film Streams and Kitchen Table are across the street! This is a great little Place for any kind of pick me up. From coffee - tea - snacks - pastries - energy drinks. There is a outside sitting area with shade and plenty of seating for a small meeting or get together with friends! :) 10/10 would recommend. This isn't my first time visiting. It was just the consistently great service/product that prompted me to write this review. read more

I love this place. I love the people who work here and are so sweet to my dog. I love the little girl who works behind the counter and sells her homemade bracelets. I love the comfy "your parents basement" atmosphere. I love the outside seating. And I love the coffee. It's quiet and cozy, and they welcome pets. It makes taking my dog on a walk so much more enjoyable when I can pop in a local coffee shop and bring the pup with me. It feels like everyone who works there is my friend, and the coffee is oh so tasty. So are the homemade treats. While I've never studied here, there's often one or two folks here logged on to a computer or quietly reading the newspaper. Super laid back atmosphere. I stopped by here to get some work done and found a pleasant, inviting atmosphere and helfpul staff. Their coffee is fantastic - I tried a Dirty Harry which is their signature drink. It's a Mayan Mocha, Caramel coffee mixed with Chai. Yes - they are able to get that much flavor in one cup! The store also features a drive through window if you want to get your fix on the go. It's easy to find as well - there's a very vibrantly decorated Volkswagen Bug parked out front. Little shop with a drive-thru. The staff on hand were nice. The coffee is decent and strong. It's definitely much better than some I've had. Lots of little munchies to choose from! Despite being in a pretty visible spot and the fact that I lived about two blocks away for many years, I forgot this place existed for awhile. Once I rediscovered Dundee Double Shot, I couldn't believe I stayed away so long. Although I occasionally enjoy a mocha-frappo-cappa-latte type drink, I really just like plain and simple coffee. And this place is my favorite cup in town. The Kona blend is especially wonderful. I will note that they have great cafe-choco-moco-loco drinks as well. The atmosphere is comfortable and unpretentious. The people who work there are always so cheerful that it seems like the cup of coffee you ordered just made their day. Unfortunately whole experience was ruined when trying to read and have a coffee on the patio when two people sat next to me and started smoking. Such a hole in the the wall, but loved it! Came here when I had free time during a wedding ceremony and the reception. When we first drove up, we thought it was a tad sketch. But right when you walked in, the staff were super friendly and the interior was really cute and homey. My friend ordered a blended fruit smoothie and I got the matcha smoothie. We both LOVED our drinks. Me especially. They put a generous amount of matcha in the drink which gave it so much flavor! If you're here to study, it's nice and quiet. If you're here to hangout, they have a good range of board games to keep you entertained! Next time I'm back in Nebraska, I'd definitely come back for some more blended drinks! read more

This place is so over-the-top granola it's almost comical, but their attention to detail makes up for any preconceptions. A short chat with the barista and it's clear they use only top-notch ingredients and they don't cut corners. They clearly see coffee preparation as a craft and it shows.
