Dune Coffee is the perfect spot to grab a coffee while walking around State Street! I got the Iced Tres Leches Latte and it had a nice flavor profile. Definitely a solid option for a coffee run in SB.

Amazing matcha!! Really cool place in Sb. Avocado toast is very small, it is perfect for one person. Worth the wait.

Just tried this coffee shop after lunch and my hubby ordered mocha espresso which he liked. He is an avid coffee drinker and it is kind of difficult for him to last the day without coffee plus all the more to find a coffee shop that suits his taste. Service was fast and efficient despite of the line and price is reasonable. Cute and quaint coffee shop. Give this place a try if you are looking for coffee along State St., Santa Barbara.

Did i order a matcha at a place that has coffee in its name and was I surprised it wasn't great? yes-silly me. I ordered a strawberry matcha and what I did love about it was that the milk was a strawberry milk and it tasted like they used real strawberries and not an artificial strawberry flavor. the matcha tho is definitely not something to write home about. Beautiful drink but will definitely stick with coffee next time

I went to Santa Barbara and while exploring downtown I stopped by Dune Coffee to try it out. The place is cute, very aesthetic, the mug as well, the staff were friendly but their coffee is not that good.

(Overall: D) - I got a Vanilla Latte, and in addition to a very lengthy 20 minute wait for the drink, I found the quality to be quite poor. First, the syrup was not well incorporated into the drink, which is problematic when it is an iced drink. Second, the drink is too diluted and there is no coffee flavor. They are quite spacious, which can serve as a good study spot, but it would help if they had better drinks. During my trip to Santa Barbara, I stumbled upon this coffee place. I tried it once and had to come back for another visit before leaving! The service was fast, and everyone was really friendly. I ordered the Iced Strawberry Milk Matcha it looked beautiful and tasted delicious. I can't wait to come back and try it again!

We went to Dune Coffee Roasters on State Street during a weekend getaway with two other couples, and this place absolutely hit the mark. The day before, we stopped at Handlebar for matcha, but it was honestly really watered down and just not great. So the next day we gave Dune Coffee a try, and wow, this was exactly what we were anticipating in terms of flavor and quality. The ceremonial grade strawberry matcha was phenomenal. Hands down one of the best matchas we have ever had. They actually use real strawberries that are crushed into it, and it even had this strawberry dust sprinkled on top. The flavor was so smooth, not too bitter, not too sweet, just perfect. My wife and I are total matcha connoisseurs down in Orange County, and we were blown away by this one. The drinks were gone within seconds. Our friends that were with us own a coffee shop, and even they were super impressed with the espresso and how fresh and flavorful the beans were. You can tell this is a true coffee place where they care about the craft and the quality. We also grabbed a croissant and a chocolate croissant, both really flaky and delicious. Not sure if they were made in-house, but they tasted like they were. Everything from the drinks to the pastries was just on point. If you are visiting Santa Barbara and want a spot that actually takes pride in what they make, this is it. We will 100 percent be coming back every time we are in town! Thank you for the staff being super sweet and kind as well!

Very busy place mid morning on a Saturday. A local farmers market was nearby too. Our coffee was great, just as we ordered it. They had these cool clay cups you could get your coffee in, if you choose, which is very eco-friendly.

Stumbled upon this coffee roaster while exploring Santa Barbara and I'm glad we did. The iced tres leches latte was really good. I ordered it half sweet and it was perfect, not overpowering at all. The atmosphere is great too, super chill and a nice spot to grab a coffee and just sit back and relax. I also tried a croissant, which was okay but nothing special. That said, the coffee itself definitely stood out. I ended up buying a bag of beans to take home. Overall, a cool spot worth stopping by if you're in the area.

We tried multiple other places that didn't have outdoor seating (so not dog friendly), but then we found Caje on State Street. It's on a protected set of streets where there are lots of shops and stores. There's common outdoor seating just outside the store, which met our objective of hanging out with the dog. Granted it was a hot day, but this store was really really hot inside, like unpleasantly so. I felt bad for the barista! The coffee is reasonably priced, all things considered (fancy flavors, Santa Barbara, crowded location) and the flavor was nice and not one I've personally had before. I asked to go light on the ice and they did a good job there. The wait was a bit long, but we weren't in a hurry, so it was all fine. Good place to stop and relax and have a good tasting coffee.

The location is nice, but it felt really hot inside. The space is small so there's not much seating inside, but they have a small outdoor seating area out front and additional seating options around the corner. They were almost out of pastries so we split their last two croissants amongst the four of us. The croissants were probably my favorite part of the visit. Most of our group seemed to be okay with their coffee choices, but overall no one was overly enthusiastic about their drink so we'd say it's about average. I ordered the iced chai latte and it was probably the worst drink I've had at a coffee shop. It was pretty much a big glass of milk with some chai spices mixed in. Very disappointing. I ended up throwing most of it away. Their staff was okay, but nothing stood out about their service so the experience here overall was pretty mediocre at best.
