Second time here in 2 weeks. The food here is amazing. I came in and Leeah knew exactly what i wanted without question. The service is immaculate. A very cultural ambiance with a television for entertainment.

Cute little "hole in the wall" spot in the neighborhood. We sat in the back dining area (you have to walk all the way to the way and through a door). For apps, we had the chorizo. It was salty and a little spicy; good thing the pickled veggies came with it because it helped to drown out some of the fat too. For our dinners, we had the chicken and pork ribs. My husband loves the chicken. Seasoning is on point; meat is moist. The ribs were super fatty so for some parts I had to tediously pick out the meat. The ribs were a little tough, however, the flavor was good. Rice was surprisingly salty as well. Overall, decent. Can't say I loved it. I felt like everything I had besides the bread was heavily salted. The wait staff was a little young but friendly. One server in particular was very inexperienced and quite under-trained. I might come back, only because my husband likes it. FYI, they have a TINY parking lot so street parking is the way to go if you have a larger vehicle.

Loved the food, attention and atmosphere!…read moreAs soon as I entered the place I knew it was going to be a real experience; the decor is rustic but cheerful; I was intrigued by the different barbecue sauce containers displayed all over and their home made pickles offerings. The place is veteran owned and has been in business for a while! All the choices on the menu are mouth watering good! After serious consideration we settled on sharing the Trinity platter which came with brisket, spare ribs and sausage links. We opted out of the sausage and upgraded the platter with pastrami. The Texas Trinity platter also comes with choices of pickles, one small sized side, we had Mac and Cheese, and 2 rolls. The portions were satisfying and good to share. The meats, oh my! All were smoked and cooked to perfection! Moist, juicy, and tender! Even better, they were seasoned so well there is no need for the also perfect sauces they offer! What an amazing experience at Red White n Que Smoke House! From the friendly and attentive service to their amazing smoked meats! All was top notch real at this place! Check it out, it will not dissapoint!

I ordered a 1/2 pound pastrami sandwich and a side of creamy slaw. I did ask for a cup of water too, since they can give you free tap water. But back to the sandwich, it game on a tray where it was a puddle of grease on the paper. I don't normally eat so greasy so it took me by surprise and I pushed on through since I wanted to try it. Biting into it, felt like a struggle for some reason. Maybe it was too much meat but it was also just salty to the point where I was coughing a little. They have several types of sauces that helped it come together nicer. And the creamy slaw washed it down. On its own, I just could not finish the sandwich. Someone at my table got 1/4 pound pastrami but not the sandwich. It should have been similar to my sandwich but I had them try it. They said my sandwich was so salty that they may have even salted the bread too. It made me think I was just unlucky with my order as the salt built up in my sandwich. It is a very popular place, so I think I should try a different item, but my sandwich did not sit well with me.

Everyone also enjoyed the fries, which is included in most meals. Also, the "white rice" is more of a pilaf (as it includes bits of carrot and peas), which was also tasty. The hot sauce by the table is sour and a bit hot. While I didn't personally enjoy it, I've tasted something similar at other BBQ joints, so it's more about personal preference. Note: the ribs don't need sauce as it uses a dry rub. I just tried the hot sauce as I was curious. Note: this placed used to be a restaurant called Brasa; hence, why you'll see "brasa" in their website's URL but not on the sign outside. Also, the portions are huge; no one finished everything. I ordered the full plat of ribs to share with someone else and we still had left overs. Will definitely return if I'm in the mood for BBQ. P.S. if you dine in and eat BBQ, you may want to take some napkins from the bathroom. The table has cloth napkins which don't so a good job at getting the oil off your fingers. Just don't use the napkins from the bathroom for anything other than getting the oil of your fingers before you wash your hands.

Loco Moco (Island Grill) - The grilled beef patty was terrible and dry even with the sauce it still did not help. The fried eggs, one of the eggs, were overcooked where the yolk cooked fully, and the other one was fine sunnyside up. Pork Katsu & Kalbi Short Ribs with Curry Sauce (Island Combo) - Short Ribs were overdone and tasted burnt. Like, not a BBQ tastes like a burnt taste. Pork Katsu was overcooked and dry. When you bite it, it is ready hard, like biting a rock. Plus, that Pork Katsu wasn't even a Pork Katsu. It's like a really thin slice of pork dipped in panko batter. It doesn't even match with the picture. (Japanese restaurants make better Pork Katsu). The curry sauce was at a different level. You can see the sauce sink to the bottom and water floating to the top. I think it was like a water down sauce that they tried to make it last without throwing it away. Overall, the meals, taking a quote from Bob's Burgers, as Bob Belcher says, "Overdone and Dry." Plus, it was missing Macaroni Salad. Even though their website says the Island Grill and Combo include 2 Scoops of Rice, 1 Scoop of Macaroni Salad on a Bed of Cabbage. Will never be coming back here to order food.

I was thinking the experience should be good since it should be more personal than that other hit-or-miss big chain Brazilian Rodizio. I was wrong. The decor was nice but the waiting area was oddly situated where people could be in the way of the food coming out of the kitchen. We were seated at the far end of the main dining hall. My 2nd son and I ordered the Rodizio. My wife and daughter ordered the Picaña steak, my eldest son had the Skirt steak. The first three Rodizio choices came out early. They were the chicken wing, the sausages and a BBQ Ribeye. The chicken and sausages were flavorful. The BBQ Ribeye was dry. Then, the other steaks came out. They did take awhile. They were supposed to be medium rare. My wife was medium, close to medium well. But, we were so hungry, we let it slide. Her steak was was under seasoned. Meanwhile, the Rodizio meats weren't making to our table. 10 mins passed since the last meat received and nothing came by. We'd see tables closer to the entrance and behind us receive the steaks on the skewers or the grilled pineapple, but not us. What kept on coming by were the chicken and the sausages again. There was a lamb brisket, that passed by. I tried it, it was bland and dry. I complained to the waiter about not getting any good meats. To his credit, he did say he'll do his best to get some to come. A manager came by and apologized and said that they were busy and they're trying to get them out as soon as possible. Another 10 mins and only shrimp came by. While the shrimp was being served, we saw a brand new batch of picaña come out and served to the table right next to us (who were just seated). Then, my table was skipped. It never circled back. I asked the waiter what's going on and mentioned about the Picaña skewer. He apologized again and said that he'll do something about it. But what was coming by us were the same chicken and sausages. We were almost two hours into our dining and still no good meats coming by. By then, I had enough and just asked for the bill. The waiter could tell I was far from pleased. By the time I signed the check, the Picaña and skirt Steak showed up. I tried them just for the heck of it. They were well done and dry. Afterwards, we stood up and left. $340 down the drain. No effort from management to try to appease a disappointed customer. We left utterly frustrated. If it weren't for our waiter who was doing his best, this place would have gotten a one star. Never coming back to this place.
