Yesterday I visited a festival in Englewood and this food truck was the first thing that caught my eye; I have seen this truck over by me for many years and never stopped to try it out. What can I say besides that I enjoyed everything lol. Empanadas were so darn good and tasty. Jerk chicken empanada was so juicy that I didn't even need the sauce. The oxtail empanada was delicious, flavorful and tender and whatever that orange sauce was complimented it well. I wish I wasn't so far so I could indulge in some more. The chicken bowl was delicious as well, Mac n cheese, rice and plantains. The service was great as I was given a complimentary jerk chicken empanada as I waited for my food to be prepared. First time here! Hardly write reviews I only view them. Was given the jerk chicken empanada on the house being a new customer. It was so good. The jerk chicken was well seasoned, and juicy. Came with a side of barbecue sauce, but to be honest, you didn't even need it! Then I got the six piece wing bowl with sweet chili sauce(flavor). The bowl comes with the rice and the two sides. The sides that I chose were mac & cheese, and the sweet plantains. I came to the food truck hungry, but ended up only eating the empanada and half of my bowl with some left over so for the price it's worth it! 10/10 read more

Hands down amazing service! The young man who took my order was informative and so pleasant. As a first time customer I was showered with amazing customer service. When I pulled up there was already a crowd standing there in the rain. That spoke volumes! I had the Mac and cheese (didn't like) empanadas (amazing) rice (so good) fried fish (taste good) and the garlic chicken (would have preferred bone in but wasn't bad). Cave Kitchen just catered a celebration of life for my family this weekend. Zena is such an amazing person. she was able to help out in such a short time. Zena was very kind and professional. Every question that I had to make sure the food was up to par was answered by Zena including making sure that I ordered the right amount of food. Now let's get to the food..... everything that was ordered was amazing and so flavorful. The trays of food were full and placed in cardboard boxes. Each box was also labeled and nothing spilled even when transported. The fried fish was crispy and fresh and seasoned, the Mac and cheese was hearty and cheesy, collard greens were fresh with smoked meat, potato salad was crisp and sweet with the right colors, the pork shoulder was shredded and juicy but still had lots of texture, the yams were chunky and sweet, the rice and peas were savory and she also gave us some sweet rolls. I was greeted with a smile by the young man taking orders. Service was friendly and welcoming, my food was brought to my car! It was chilly outside so we were told to wait in our car. I ordered the oxtail empanadas, a jerk empanadas and a bowl of garlic chicken bites with yellow rice, the bowl includes sides so I got Mac and cheese & sweet plantains, everything was tasty and flavorful. I particularly loved the Mac and cheese. The oxtail in the empanadas was so tender and tasty, definitely my favorite out of everything I ordered.
