We followed Dr McMahon from her previous practice because of her dedication to animals; she just wants what's best for the animals. She has been so gracious with our 15-y/o female puppy suffering from seizures over the past year. She even called the next morning after an appointment because she was thinking about her overnight. Dr McMahon is an amazing veterinarian, as well as a wonderful human. We love her!!!! read more

We just changed Vets; buyer beware here. They are not Dr Dunham, just floating on the name. Go there is you like this treatment: 1. Being told you can't be 10 mins late for an appointment cause Blackburns schedule is tight. Can't recall the many many times we waited over an hour for the Vet but 10 mins destroys the day. So we rescheduled to when it more inconvenient for us. They seem to dislike customers. 2. Blackburn, check out the experience level. She likes Google and needs it. Ask her the tough questions, be sure her laptop is nearby. 3. We changed to Dunham due because of musical vets at another practice. They just changed our vet without telling us, Surprise? And that was the last straw. 4. The Techs do most of the work and the Vet breeeze in. 5. The employees have negative attitudes that starts from the top. We had a dog killed by Pits and a Tech didn't like that we don't like Pits. She didn't want to hear it, wasn't sympathetic and told us to move on when we discussed it. We would never be so rude to a customer. Starts from the top where they believe they are important. 6. We wasted so much money it's amazing. 7. The Techs have a heart it seems. Now Dunham is in the rear view and the new vet is half the price, open on Thursday, doesn't brush you off in an emergency. New Vet takes appointments on time and doesn't float above the ground when they walk. read more

The vet techs here are super caring and knowledgeable about their patients. We brought our reactive dog in for a nail trim and the techs that assisted us were so patient and understanding with our dog. 10/10 recommend, will be back. read more

My little sister asked me to bring her dog Elsa (52lbs Husky) because she had school. I will start by saying that the front desk is very friendly and was even accommodating after I mixed up appointment times and was late. A vet tech brought us to the room and decided to skip taking a temperature because of Elsas size and inability to keep her still. Then in walks Dr Lisa Neufang whom severely lacks professionalism. She walked in did not greet us or make any eye contact. She faced the computer while asking what the appointment was for. She then assessed Elsa while I held. She rudely scoffed and stated "if you can't hold her head I will have to sedate her." She then went back over to her computer and finally looked in my direction to explain her findings and plan of care. Avoid this place. Don't bring your animals here if you value being treated with any decency. read more

Our first visit to Dunham Animal Hospital, unfortunately, resulted in our little shih-tzu being put down. However, they are a marvelous staff who took wonderful care of our little Ginger and us. What a fantastic vet is Regan Blackburn. She addressed all our concerns about Ginger's health; she took the time to explain everything, but an x-ray showed that the poor little girl had cancer throughout her lungs. Have been taking my two dogs to Dunham for the last 5 years. Since Dr Dunham retired this business has gone downhill. I have spent thousands here on care for my Great Dane and my chihuahua. Used to be able to get sick visits same day. Twice they have denied me emergency care and told me to call back the next day or take my pet somewhere else. What good is a Vet if they won't see established customers in an emergency. I called yesterday morning first thing because my chihuahua was vomiting all night, was lethargic, not eating or urinating. They would not see him. I took him to an animal hospital 20 minutes away. By the time I got there he was almost in a diabetic coma, severely dehydrated, was almost non responsive. After 7 hours in the emergency room, he died. I am taking my Great Dane out of this practice and will never use them or refer anyone to them again. Beware! read more

August of 2019 my Bluetick hound injured her leg...My original vet recommended I take her to Dunham for the reason his practice was only treating basic things. I did and found out Miss Daphne had bone cancer. Dr Dunham amputated the leg and Miss Daphne went on the next 2 months living her normal life. Being a tripod didn't stop her one bit. Well, the type of cancer she had came back with vengeance and there was nothing that could be done. February 3rd my precious hound had to be put to sleep forever...this broke my heart and it's still broken. I want to say Dr Dunham and his staff made the process peaceful and calm. I can't say enough how I appreciate it. Dr Dunham was with us the whole time and continued explaining things, and helping us through conversation. I didn't break down until I had to leave my girl...My home is empty without her. Miss Daphne's sister Bluegirl will be making an appointment with Dr Dunham. He's now our vet. Wow! The level of rudeness, and unprofessionalism is uncalled for. I have been trying to get my Dog's medication refilled for 12 days! I call and call, it doesn't matter how nice I am to them, they are ALWAYS so nasty to me! I was kind and patient with them but I've had enough. I called yesterday and the girl was like "didn't you call about this yesterday?" MY DOG IS OUT OF HIS MEDICINE!!! I've used Dunham hospital for the last 10 years. I own greyhounds which have some special requirements that many vets aren't aware of. Dr. Dunham is an impassioned practitioner, who is accurate and empathetic to both my fur-babies and me. Prices are about average and Dr. Dunham hasn't pushed the extra medicines I've experienced with other vets. NOTE: Since the pandemic, Dr. Dunham has suspended practicing. I hope he remains in good health and returns to the practice soon. His partner veterinarians are equally as good, but I found them not as compassionate. I still recommend this place for anyone seeking help keeping their pet healthy. Excellent, fast service. read more

We've been visiting Dunham over the last 6 months and couldn't be more pleased with the safety measures and kind staff. Yesterday we went here with our cat for help to get him to eat after surgery. He had the surgery elsewhere and they advised that we see our regular vet (Dunham). We made an app't and when we arrived we were shocked to hear the vet yelling, YES YELLING, at the staff that she "could not see the cat"! This was after we made an app't in the morning and was in front of other customers. We identified ourselves and asked why she could not see the cat and the vet explained that "she was retiring" at the end of the day and that we should have gone back to where the surgery took place. We explained that they told us to go to Dunham for follow up help but she still refused. She did sell us a couple cans of specialty cat food and some syringes, but that was it. This behavior was VERY rude and unprofessional. As a result of this I will NEVER take a pet back to this place. I am switching vets for 2 other animals that I own. I guess Dunham has never heard of the Hippocratic oath! I urge everyone to find a place that really cares for their pets and the customer - no matter what. read more

A great local vet. The vet does have exotic pet experience so it is a great place to go for your exotic pet veterinary needs. From my experience Their fees are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. Their parking lot is very small so please be aware of this when pulling in. Highly recommend. read more

Horrible customer service and poor caring towards animals. I used to bring both of my dogs here for several years (paid for the dog plans up front, no payments so they had their money) up until recently. The supervisor cut me off mid sentence while I was explaining the situation I encountered multiple times with the front desk staff (mostly Monica) and said she will send both of my dogs medical records to me. Didn't apologize, did not care one bit of my unhappiness. She was wanting to get off the phone with me quickly instead of listening to me. Horrible care to my pets too. This vet was recommended by a friend. This is the second time I have had an appointment and waited more then 45 minutes while other who came in after me got in before me. There is no sense of urgency from the front desk. Maybe my solution is to arrive 45 minutes late from my appointment time and I will get right in--maybe the other fOlks here have figured it out. Maybe I will try that next time. The back end staff has been great! Looking for some improvement up front or I will be forced to find another place to take my two dogs. Very nice, caring people in the entire office who truly care about your animals. So glad we found them. We had to take one of our dogs in a emergency situation and they dealt with it and our concerns. And we knew we found our vet for the rest of our animals which our olders animals and alot of vets don't have patience for. But they have been awe in dealing with our dog including surgery and having to board him for a few days to give him time to heal and they didn't charge us an arm and a leg, they are about taking care of the animals and helping people who truly love their animals. read more
