Dr. Mike came out as planned and made what otherwise would seem impossible, possible. I think most pet parents vacillate between we should or we shouldn't. And we seek the thoughts of those we love and trust and who also love our (in this case) kitty. But even then, on the day, you need the added comfort of someone like Dr. Mike to provide that last bit of compassion and assurance to allow you to let go and do the right thing by that little (or big) animal that you love so much. This was my first experience with Lap of Love, but I know, not my last. Truly, thank you from me and Louie, for helping me do what had to be done.

Our beloved Max grew older and slower. We hated the idea of being without him . It was time. He couldn't get off the floor for a few days . On 12-5-24. With a friends recommendation we called Lap of Love. They came the next morning. Everything was wonderful from Lisa on the phone setting everything up to Dawn the lady who came to our home. Lisa eased me through the register process so compassionately and wonderfully. Dawn, she was wonderful with my husband and myself. She helped Max pass over in the way we wanted. She gave us a lock of his fur in a container and a imprint of his paw . I wish I could give this company and their employees 1000 stars!!

From my initial phone call with Jessica right through to Dr. Loren's visit, this was an invaluable experience. They came the same day, and Dr. Loren was absolutely amazing. So sweet, understanding, calming, and such a wonderful human. I was just a blubbering mess from the moment she walked in the door. She asked questions about Sid's life and remembered the names of our 2 other pets that were outside with us and spoke to them as well. She used verbiage that I had never heard before, and I worked as a vet tech for a year and did plenty of euthanasia appointments. She said she was setting him free and when he was gone, she said "he's free now." She explained everything and always asked permission to touch him. She took paw prints for us and, at my request, did a nose print from a kit I had bought. She placed his body in a beautiful basket to carry him out, and when I tell you that she was graceful and conscientious about wrapping him up and placing him into that basket, you better believe it. She careful propped his head up and left it out so we could continue to say our goodbyes. She offered to carry him out or let one of us essentially be a pallbearer. My husband carried him out to her car and she gave us each hugs (after asking if it was ok to do so). I will miss Sid every day for the rest of my life, and I will be calling Lap of Love for each of my pets in the future, if possible.

Dear Dr. Elizabeth, I sincerely appreciate your kind words and thoughts. My wife and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making Cinder's process as easy for him as possible. You are very gentle, kind and sweet. I can't express how grateful I am to you for what you did for us, and in the gentle manner you handled it. We will visit the memorial and set up pictures. Thank you and please stay in touch. Forever Grateful, Mike Rock

We would like to thank Dr. Loren and the wonderful staff with Lap of Love. We had to put our baby girl to sleep and they were so kind . Dr. Loren was thoughtful and calming. We were able to hold Fifi during the whole process. We were allowed all the time we needed with her. Dr. Loren even let me wrap Fifi in her blanket and take her to her car in a beautiful wicker basket. We will miss Fifi so much but Lap of Love and Dr. Loren made the experience much easier. We choose to have her privately cremated and we got her ashes a week later in a beautiful wooden box. Thank you for all you do

Dr. Abby was easy to communicate with and agreed to help me say goodbye to my boy at our favorite place, Davis Islands dog park. She worked with me to choose a day/time where we would have privacy. On top of being professional, she was so kind and compassionate. I was incredibly upset when the day came and she took so much time and care to hear about my dog's story. I chose to have a private cremation and the turn around time was so fast. I was so happy to have my boy back so quickly. In addition to having his remains hand delivered, I also received so many sweet memorial items. The entire process was so well done and after she followed up with me to see how I was doing. As one of the last but most important decisions for my dog, I am so happy that I worked with Parting Paws.

They have cared for our retired guide dog, Martin, with a level of compassion and dedication that goes far beyond what we ever expected. When Martin began having mobility issues, they came to our home to provide red light therapy and other treatments that truly helped get him back on his feet. Throughout every stage of his care, Diane and her team listened to us, respected our wishes, and always made us feel like we were partners in every decision. We never felt pressured into doing anything we weren't comfortable with, and that meant the world to us. Most recently, Martin experienced a very serious medical emergency with a fever of 105 degrees. Diane and her team responded immediately, arriving at our home in what felt like the blink of an eye. They cared for Martin as if he were their own dog, showing the same love, urgency, and attention they would give a member of their own family. In one of the scariest moments we've experienced as pet owners, they gave us comfort, confidence, and exceptional care. One of the greatest gifts Pawsome Pet Care offers is bringing veterinary care into your home. Anyone who has had a sick or aging pet knows how stressful it can be to load them into the car, drive to a clinic, and then sit in a waiting room while they're frightened, uncomfortable, or in pain. Instead, Martin was able to remain in the comfort and familiarity of his own home, surrounded by the people who love him. That alone made an incredible difference in his care and his comfort. They have cared for both of our dogs as though they were part of their own family. The truth is, after everything they've done for us, Diane and her team have become part of ours. Their kindness, professionalism, knowledge, and genuine love for animals shine through in every interaction. If you're looking for compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly exceptional veterinary care, I cannot recommend Pawsome Pet Care highly enough. Don't hesitate to call Diane and her team. Your pets will be treated with love, dignity, and the highest level of care, and you'll quickly understand why they mean so much to our family.

It has SEVEN DOCTORS on site & ITS SERVICES ARE EXTENSIVE. (I listed all offered services @ the bottom of this review.) On Google, Seven Oaks has 4 stars. I must have gone to a different place than the previous Yelpers because my three-yr-old cat has had nothing but EXCELLENT care. Dr. Pelletier (young female) was attentive and allowed me all the time I needed to ask questions before she explained everything thoroughly. PRICING WAS PROVIDED BEFORE ANY TREATMENT BEGAN. Dr. Pellerin phoned twice over the next few days to check on the status of my cat & later to provide the results of the blood panel-- so I'd finally learn why my Siberian Forest cat had been very sick w/ a virus for two months (a virus she picked up at another vet's office). A staffer phoned a third time to assure my feline was improving. Each staff member I spoke w/ over the phone; at the sprawling front counter (see pic); and in the exam room (see pic) was very friendly & professional. Completed paperwork was handed to me after each visit. I did not award 5 stars ONLY due to pricing; prices are higher than what I am used to paying. This is a large veterinary hospital (by day) that offers EMERGENCY CARE AFTER 6 PM; its urgent care services are less expensive than Blue Pearl (a facility that I awarded one star). Seven Oaks operates the Hermoine Duncan Reddy nonprofit that ASSISTS CLIENTS w/ THE PAYMENT OF THEIR VET BILLS on a case-by-case basis. And due to Covid, Seven Oaks is currently offering free delivery of Rx's & Medical Food within a seven mile radius via its mobile service. (Also due to Covid, virtual consultations are offered, but are not free.) Attached to the hospital is a large pet store-- see Pet Depot. The entrance to the vet hospital is conveniently through the pet store:) It's a scaled down version of a PetSmart. The hospital was clean, modern, & offered multiple services. I spent approx $850 here before the cost of antibiotics ($32 × 2); however, my cat received fast & professional care when five other veterinary offices could not see her for two weeks unless I wanted to take a day off from my employment. (Those five include the office that introduced her to the Macroplasm virus). The extended hours this establishment offers are definitely a plus. Don't forget to use the YELP CHECK-IN OFFER that offers a free trim-- I'm guessing one must have a dog. Perhaps $10 off an initial exam would be a more inclusive offer the owners might want to consider. Should you need to get your pet seen by a vet quickly, this is DEFINITELY the place to phone. My 'Mae' is close to being whole; I didn't have to take time off from my job for veterinary care; & ALL CONTACT w/ this business has been 100% PROFESSIONAL. I will likely return to see Dr. Pellerin or one of the six other doctors on staff here the next time one of my cats is ill. Missing work is not an option for me, so I am OK w/ paying more. Thank you, Dr. Pellerin & staff! THE SERVICES OFFERED (in alphabetical order): Acupuncture, Anti-Venom Service, Behavior Medicine, Boarding ($27 Cats, $22 Exotics, $30 to $46 Dogs) Cold Laser, Dental Care, Emergency & Critical Care, Exotics, Grooming, Holistic Medicine, Hospice & Euthanasia, Laparoscopic Procedures, Mobile Services, Pain Management, Parasite Prevention, Puppy & Kitten Care, Rabbits & Small Mammals, Radiology, Senior Care, Surgery, Ultrasound, Vaccines, & Wellness Exams.
