I bought a ring from Dunham and was quite satisfied. So much so that I bought another, and then another (total of 3). The last ring was plated in the gold palisil, and looked fantastic! But this was not a ceremonial ring for me, I proudly wanted and did wear it everyday. And the gold palisil plating did not last a year. I contacted them and they offered to take the ring back, and credit the full purchase price towards a Questra ring, which is not plated and will not change color with wear. This was good solution. And then COVID hit, making a tough year, and the ring fell off my priority list. Now that thinks are settling, I contacted them to buy the new ring. Now they will only credit me half, and I must return the ring to get the credit. Or they will re-plate the ring every time I need (annually) forever, which doesn't seem like a good business choice. Just got a custom Marine Corps ring from these folks. I made an error in ordering and they eagerly resolved it EVEN following up with a phone call to me! The ring arrived MUCH sooner than they said it would, and it is of the UTMOST PERFECT QUALITY! My ring arrived (ordered on 4/27/13) today from Dunham and I am so pleased! Everything was engraved exactly according to my specifications. The prices were absolutely unbeatable. I paid $478 for a 10K yellow gold ring with 6 genuine diamonds and a simulated ruby. An equivalent ring at Balfour or Jostens would have been $700 or more, and with fewer options for customization because my school has preselected designs. Customer service was responsive, professional, and clearly concerned about delivering exactly what the customer wants. I had no problems changing the finish on my ring from antique to natural (the option wasn't on the website for fashion rings). Packaging was meticulous! When ordering my class ring, I did not want to spend a large amount of money through Jostens, so I decided to use Dunham Manufacturing as an alternative. I have an allergy to nickel, which makes jewelry a selective process. Nickel allergies aren't uncommon, and usually companies label whether or not their jewelry is nickel free. I ordered a ring through Dunham and my finger broke out after wearing it for a few days. I contacted Dunham and told them about my situation and how I was disappointed that they had not advertised whether or not their products were nickel free. I was told to send my ring back, however, they could not refund me, despite their "lifetime" warranty policy (which is NOT what it sounds like at all!) I was told that I could pay a little more money to have my ring upgraded to sterling silver, which I was assured DID NOT have ANY nickel in it. They even discounted the upgrade price for me. It sounded like a good deal at first, so I paid the extra money to have it upgraded and I sent my ring back. After receiving my sterling silver ring, I wore it and a couple days later, low and behold, my finger broke out into a rash. I contacted the company again, and I was told that every company's "recipe" for sterling silver is different, and their sterling silver "recipe" does in fact include a small amount of nickel. This was after I had told them that I had a nickel allergy and they had assured me that my new sterling silver ring would have absolutely NO nickel in it! After this, I was beyond outraged and I demanded a refund. I was told by one representative that they would refund me completely for the ring. However, a few weeks later, after talking to someone higher up in the company, the representative contacted me and told me there could be no refund. I was tempted to contact a lawyer, but realized it probably wasn't worth it. So I completely wasted a little less than $200 of my money that I will never see again, and I am class ring-less. The way that Dunham handled this situation was ridiculous. I was lied to and they refused to return my money even though it was the right thing to do. DO NOT use Dunham Manufacturing. You might pay a little more with a different company, like Jostens, however at least your chances of being deceived are less and you will get a quality product worth the money. read more

I ordered my college graduation ring from Dunham Manufacturing a little over two weeks ago. At that time they gave me a six week time estimate which was normal (Jostens, etc had similar time frames). Two days ago I receive an email with tracking information, my ring is on its way! I was not sure what to expect as this ring was over half the price of Josten's silver rings but I was hopeful. When I opened the carefully packed ring, I was speechless. It is everything I hoped and more. A very beautiful ring and it looks very well made. I am happy with the customer service ("tested" them out by emailing question about sizing a very nice person replied quickly). I would recommend Dunham for everything especially because it saved me hundreds of dollars and I have a super nice ring to commemorate my accomplishment. I purchased a United Stated Marine Corps ring (antique style; sterling silver) and it is exquisite. You can tell these are handcarved and the detail is superb. These are much better than the rings you see from mass-producing catalogues. if you want a silver ring, definitely spend the extra money for the sterling silver- that way you can have it sized if you need to. Two things to do: Order something that you can resize, if needed. Don't trust any printable ring measurement tool. Second, you can't see the designs without getting the antiqued background The ring size tool does not work. I ended up with two pinky rings. I was lucky one was silver and could be resized for an additional $45. Not so lucky with the base metal gold substitute, gold plated. The side panel I got with a bulldog on it looks like a blob or scribble. This leads me to believe that the simpler the side panel the best it will look. Get the antiqued finish to see the panel. I was so careful with the sizing and I still got rings 2-2.5 sizes too small. Go to a jeweler and get sized. Also check into the jeweler making the ring and price compare. read more

Just Purchased a Stadium championship ring.. How disappointed am I !!! very.. I thought this was going to be the trophy that I kept for years and passed down to my kids but I was so disappointed when I opened the box I havent even put the ring on.. Its just so small, I had to check that I hadnt been sent a ladies ring by mistake and nope its the "Stadium" championship ring I have... Also the jewel in the centre has what looks like debris or dust inside the stone so it doesnt look like selection detail has been ad heard to in anyway. I write as the customer service was less then expected. My Father contacted Dunhams and a lady advised him how to send his ring back that had a fault in the plating, after sending the ring and waiting initially he was told that some damage was not covered this was discussed originally and the ring had some damage from an Aircraft accident while in the Middle East. After another month passed and needing the ring for his reunion he was told that they had never received the ring, after much back and forward the ring was missing and nothing could be done. This was devastating to us all to see his distress at the missing ring, we have another ring which has the same fault but it just sits in a drawer rather than being worn as it should be. We have five rings in all from Dunhams and now need to find someone who can fix the Airborne ring. This was very disappointing and poor customer service for someone who served his Country and received two Purple Hearts. We now live in Australia an unfortunately are unable to find anyone to repair the ring at reasonable cost. It's a pity Dunhams don't stand by their reputation like their guarantees. I couldn't be happier. The rings also come with a lifetime warranty. Even though I was shopping with low cost in mind, there were plenty of stone, mascot, and activity options to choose from. I checked the more expensive site, just to compare and for more than I paid for both rings, I could get ONE ring with the name of the school and the school's "educational crest". That's it. When searching the internet, I came across Dunham Jewelry Manufacturing, right here in Texas, and was in awe at the prices - at least a third of the cost of what the base model was on the school brochure! And then as we searched, the selection was phenomenal. We got a beautiful class ring, designed by us online, and it turned out perfectly. We even got sterling silver and the cost ended up being so much less than what we would have paid had we not missed that school deadline. When the ring arrived, it was slightly too big due to our mistake, and the company resized it free of charge.
