Yesterday ordered drive thru 2 drinks. After paying, noticed they had added car behind mine's order to my ticket for a total of $15. When brought to their attention, the guy said they had no authority to refund, give a gift card or anything because manager was not there in the afternoon. Told to come back after noon the next day. I made him sign the back of receipt and also explain what happened. Went back today and a very rude, unprofessional woman said to come back tomorrow as no manager there AGAIN, and she couldn't do a refund either. This Dunkin Donuts is what can only be called the worst of the worst. This Dunkin is so bad, in fact, that I consider it a "last resort" breakfast stop where I go if I don't have time for the Dunkin on Big Bend at the Circle K near Rowdy's pet resort or the one in Sun City, nor do I have the time or money to go to Starbucks or Armetta's. The food is as mediocre as just about any Dunkin can get, but the customer service sucks major donkey. My mom teaches and works with students with special needs for a living, and I can confidently say that half of those students would make a more competent team of employees than most of the lackluster dippies that work at this Dunkin. I have been in food service for 10 years. I do understand how it is to serve the public, and to possibly get paid poorly to do so. However, the attitude of the woman who takes the orders is absolutely uncalled for. The not-so-subtle tone of frustration, is extremely noticeable. Somehow, with little words, she makes you feel unintelligent by just ordering. Cutting you off as you order, the vocal inflections. It's very clear your patients is thin. A little disclaimer for this woman, you don't know if this is someone's first time ordering what they are getting, first time trying Dunkin, first time out of the house after a death and not able to quickly think. It doesn't pay to be kind but it also doesn't cost anything. The young girl at the window was sweet, though. This is not the first go around with this lady. Yes, a 5 minute or less interaction with someone can have an impact, your tone matters. I wish I could've gotten her name, but I was beyond shocked. I'm sure anyone in food service industry would know this. Wish this location would step up, the convenience is nice. Starbucks it is. read more

if I could give the place zero stars based off of customer service I would. Right when I walked in and was looking at the menu for what to order I was greeted very rudely. No smile no welcome no nothing. The lady seemed annoyed when I told her I'm still looking. she carried an attitude with her throughout the whole interaction. While taking my order, she even answered a PERSONAL phone call from her daughter and remained on the phone with her while checking me out. I would have gave a zero star if I could. By far one of the worst DD within a 5min radius. How do you mess up a hot chocolate consistently. My cup is barely 3/4 full most of the time with clumps at the bottom. There's a light skin black woman at the drive thru who has a nasty attitude and is rude. I asked for some more to my cup with a please and thank you and very much appreciated and she looked at me like she was going to kill me. She barely said a word and I'm sure she would have tossed it at me if she felt up to it. I decided to not go there again after trying a few times since it's right down the block. I rather drive to the DD off of Big Ben and 301 near dog gone holistic since they are not only nice and treat their customers right, the cup was full and made delicious. A DD inside a gas station. They have a drive-thru too, which is handy if you've got dogs or no legs (I guess). Everything is consistently the same as every other Dunkin around. It's generally good enough and fast enough. But as I'm writing this, I keep clicking between 2 stars and three stars. Two stars - the donut upselling. I go in for three, and the cashier tells me "It's cheaper if you get 4." It's cheaper PER DONUT, but you're still always paying more. There's a serious distinction between those two concepts, and that attempted upsell happens every time I go in. Three stars - dog treats (or a couple stale donut holes) for the corgi when I bring her through the drive-thru. They don't have to do anything like that, but it is very kind of them (and Stella loves it). Three stars wins out, since my dog is staring at me, probably thinking about squirrels or food or tennis balls - whatever corgis think about. read more

This Dunkin is inside a 7-11 on the corner of Apollo Beach Blvd and US N41. I ordered 6 bagels for Christmas morning breakfast so they would be fresh. They were hard as a rock. We tried to soften them as per Google, but could not, so we threw them in the garbage. On December 28, I called customer service with a complaint. I was given a case number and assured I would receive a call from corporate to initiate a refund, since they were the ones who had to authorize it. I realize there was a holiday involved, but I was told I would hear within 48 business hours, by Friday, December 30 (no holiday there). I never heard back. Next, I sent an email. I received one back telling me the store would contact me. I have heard nothing since. Rest assured, I will not be using Dunkin Donuts again. And I will tell anyone wiling to listen how awful my experience was. read more

This Dunkin has really gone down hill with the customer service. I live in waterset and go to Dunkin every day sometimes twice a day, For my kids and my dogs and myself. The girls that now work there are always rude never smile and you wait in line for 20 minutes while there is one car paying in front of you while you still have to order. They should really look at these new people they are hiring and they way they treat there customers. Walking up, my cousin said, "Boston Cream," and I replied back by stating a DD in a gas station is sure to be sold out of Boston Creams at 2 in the afternoon. We are big Dunkin fans; but on this visit we are critics. We both used our independent apps to order ahead. Both orders were for drinks, a hot latte and a cold passion fruit refresher. Our critique is not with the beverages themselves but the service and set up of this store. This was not our first visit but may be the last to this location. Let us give you details. First, on many prior occasions when we don't order ahead, we walk into the store and literally have to yell to the back of the store to get any help at all. You can stand by the counter but the employees are usually in the back of the store not in sight and often not in sight of even their drive thru window. In addition to feeling a little silly because you have to yell, either management doesn't seem to ever have enough staff to handle the volume, or the staff just doesn't have the skill to handle customer flow. This should set the stage for today's visit. We ordered ahead through the app and 6 minutes later are standing in the store with not 1 order completed. No employee was at the front of the store but both employees were visible. It was evident that they were waiting on customers. Of course, the person at the counter was not yet waited on because the only people being helped were at the drive thru. There was no acknowledgement to the waiting customers (Hello, we'll be right with you. Thank you for your patience) or ourselves. After 10 minutes of waiting we were both finally served. And yes, the customer at the counter ordered after us and got her drink first (why did we pre-order through the app?). The hot latte came and it was only filled ¾ of the way. It's like ordering a smaller size and paying for a bigger size. Then we asked for a receipt and was told that the receipts can't be looked up because it was a while ago that the order was placed. Well, duh. Why wasn't the receipt printed for us as usual? The receipt is where you are given the opportunity to do a survey and essentially review the visit. Was that a tell right there that nobody wanted to take a chance on a poor review? Clearly this was not a pleasant visit. As all of us prefer excellent service at all times, it is ok to have good service. It is not ok to have poor service. We lay the blame here on both management and their training. We will choose a different Dunkin location just a bit further for us in the future and hope that this review aids others in their choice of Dunkin location. read more

Had the worst experience at Dunkin Doughnuts [Apollo Beach]. One car besides myself in line. One customer inside. Had to wait a long time before they would take my order. [Same with the only other car in front of me.] "You will have to wait." came from the speaker. Several minutes later I said hello. Again, "You will have to wait, we are busy." But, we were the only customers.. Wow.. Then came on the speaker, "What do you want?" Very rudely.. Wow.. When I reached the window, no customers inside. Don't waste your time. This is one of the worst places if ever experienced from the employees to the food. I have tried going back multiple times because of the convenience of the location. I asked questions about using my DD app, the perks coupon and paying with the app. The only actual words spoken were "do you want whipped cream?" (I ordered a pumpkin Coolatta). I had to figure out how to use the aforementioned apps features with zero help or words. She then turned to make my drink and I never saw her again. I stood there just waiting at the counter. It wasn't until Toni (awesome lady with a long braid) came to the station and was wiping things down that i got actually treated like a human. We made small talk and laughed about not winning the lottery. Toni then said "I think hour drink is ready over here." And I said "Thanks for telling me. I would have never known!" So Jessica made my drink, set it down on the left side of a door thingy and disappeared. Had Toni not been there I'd be wondering what happened to my drink. Toni saved this review. I typically go to this location on my way to the park behind it. My usual order it's pretty boring: a medium unsweetened iced tea with no lemon and a frosted and sprinkle donut. Today I went there just the same as always, and ordered the exact same thing that I always get. Usually I get a receipt with my order, but this time there was no receipt, and the girl at the window was too busy and left before I could ask her, even though there was no one else in line behind me. As I drove away like most people I took a sip of my drink, and realized it was sweet tea, and it had a lemon in it which I specifically asked it not to have. I also took a bite of my frosted and sprinkled doughnut, which was not only stale, but it also had virtually no frosting on it. I went back through the drive thru line to ask for an unsweetened iced tea, and the girl at the window again gave me my drink and quickly left before I could even ask about getting a fresher donut. I didn't get a receipt that would give me a manager's contact number, so I decided to yelp instead.
