The photos of this location are wrong. The photos are of the shell station location. I wonder if some of these reviews are for that location (on the same road too) This location is amazing (the one up by the train station) I will drive past the Shell station location to go to this one! Actually I drive past 3-4 Dunkin' and 2 Honey Dews to go to this location. My coffee is always on point, once they misheard my order but quickly fixed it no issue. I am there 4-5 days a week on my way in to work, yea there is a line in the morning but what else do you expect during rush hour. I get my large cold brew and breakfast each day with no issue. I spend $7-8 a day at least $25 a week if not more. I run on Dunkin! Everyone I have had the pleasure to talk to has been amazing... But Steve... HE IS BY FAR THE BEST! I bring my dog to work with me and he makes sure that my guy gets a munchin' each day! Some of the other staff does too but Steve never misses an opportunity to make Tucker's doggy day! Best way to have me as a returning customer! Always friendly, always makes sure to wish me a good day, 10/10!! Best part of my morning! 1st of all the customer service is great never complain about that. However every time I go there to get an unsweetened ice tea with 3 splender it always taste like coffee. Or as if the bag has not been changed it's not old. I'm laughing to myself at some of the reviews about this being the worst DD; I mean, it's a corporate coffee and doughnut place trying to stay current with the trends. If you are so unhappy, don't go? That being said, every Dunkin Donuts is essentially the same to me; I don't love the coffee but the donuts are usually tasty. The cold brew though? GOOD. That's what my DD experiences consist of, cold brew once or twice a week and maybe a doughnut. If I get one for my boyfriend too it's about $8 and we move on. No favorite location, but we actually refer to this location as "the nice one". I came on to write this review specifically because of the experience I had today when I stopped in. Three young (younger than me!) guys working and they were all friendly and upbeat, quickly made my coffee, listened to a story about the last time I got it at another location & apologized for not having our first choice doughnut (blueberry cake!) - then wished me a nice day. Nothing fantastic but I know we all go places where we have bad service, or feel like people younger than us are kids and lazy and blah blah blah, but these guys were awesome. read more

This location is simply horrible. Avoid at all possible costs for a number of reasons.... First, every day they run out of donuts and pastries by early afternoon. When I asked why they always run out I was told it was because of kids buying all the food when they get out of school. I asked why, after this happening for so long, wouldn't they account for this and order the appropriate amount of food items to last the day. When it dawned on the store manager how much sense that made she said she would speak to the owner. This same conversation has happened several times over the past several months but nothing has changed. On top of that, I got an email from DD talking about $1 coffees to celebrate the Celtics making the playoffs. I went to this location today just to get the $1 coffee and they knew nothing about it. I showed them the email and they responded with that same vacant look I receive for every inquiry I make there. Finally, wait times are painful. Even when there is nobody in the store or drive through they'll have the line build while they fully prepare a complex food and beverage order for a drive through customer. The staff is nice and helpful enough so I can't blame the staff. The reason behind the problems fall squarely on the owner. There is always insufficient staff during the known busy times so waits are long. There is always insufficient food in the afternoon through the evening. There is always insufficient training on promotions for the staff to be knowledgable and helpful to customers. Unfortunately, this is the most convenient DD to my house or I would certainly go to a different one. This location is going to force me to trade my DD Perks card for the new Honey Dew Rewards app as soon as it becomes available. It's too bad DD Corp doesn't have sufficient oversight into its franchisees as stores like this are going to cause attrition to the DD brand. read more

Pretty standard D&D. It can be a good experience one day and then mediocre the next if there is a rush or long drive-thru line or someone is new/in training. But not much they can do to help that. There's been a couple of times they've been "out" of things (like ingredients to make coolatas) that surprised me (otherwise I'd probably give another star). There is a giant TV tucked away in the corner with comfy chairs. Something has changed here! They are moving things along so fast, super helpful, etc. read more

This location is well run, managed, clean and super nice staff/service. Yeah, sometimes they run out of something, but they also do not have a crystal ball to project the web and flow of customers and their requests. Rarely do I ever have that experience here. My girlfriend and I consistently go to this location simply because i live in the apartments up the street. Not once have we gotten a decently good coffee because every time its made its made wrong, i always have to go to another location because i feel bad that my girlfriend is never satisfied. I didnt think id ever write up a review but she actually came back from here this morning asked for a toasted everything bagel and an iced coffee and got an UNTOASTED bagel and a flavorless coffee. I never complain or leave reviews but I've come here a lot and not said anything up until now. I ordered two things. TWO. A large iced coffee and a donut. I ordered a flavor in my coffee and milk/sugar. When I got up to the window it was a Medium. I politely told the woman I ordered Large and also a donut. She came back with the new large coffee. No donut. When I got home I realized there was no milk or sugar or flavoring in the coffee. I'll be going to the one in Hopkinton to save myself the frustration. You should do the same. I made this account just so I could write this review.. lol. This morning, July 3, 2016 at 7am I went to the drive thru at 41 West Union St in Ashland, MA. I ordered a medium caramel swirl iced coffee. When I drove up to the window to pay, the multiple employees were so innattentive to my presence that I had to shut off my car to save gas. It took almost 10 minutes to receive my coffee, which turned out to be a different product than what I had ordered. Mind you, I had paid for what I ordered, so I went inside and had a grumpy young girl remake my coffee. The woman in front of me in line also had her order messed up. I am a frequenter of many DDs in the area. This is the first time I had this particular server at this DD. I ordered an iced coffee. When he was taking my card for payment, he knocked the iced coffee over and it spilled a little on the counter as well as the top of the cup. He handed me the cup and took a napkin to wipe the counter, then started to walk away from the drive-through window. I asked for a napkin and he came back and in a surly manner handed me several napkins. I then asked for my receipt. He started to walk away again. I called loudly, "Can I get my receipt?" I gave me a ripped receipt without a code so I couldn't do the telldunkin survey on line. I realize this is a DD and the employees aren't top skilled - but how about a little common courtesy? read more

You should make this DD your second choice after every other coffee shop is your first choice, even other DD'S are so much better. Let's start with the parking. It's jammed, difficult to back up in the morning and the drive through is like being in stop and go traffic. There is no doubt the coffee is good and the donuts, cakes and breakfast sandwiches tasty. However, help is sometimes confused, slow, don't call for back up when there is a line. There are other DD locations so much better and morning people have other choices like Red Barn, Honey Dew, Sisters, etc. read more

I don't understand how this Dunkin is still open for business. Lines are extremely long yet I come all the time for convenience and the fact it has a drive thru. Everyone DOESN'T run on dunkin here! No matter what time of day it is the wait is ridiculous. I usually wait at least 5 minutes for my order to be taken at the drive thru even when I'm the only car. Then another 5 minutes to get what I ordered. (Which isn't always correct) Don't even attempt to go there on weekend mornings. Both lines inside and out are easily a 20 minute wait. It started out like any other day... until I entered the DD of my nightmares. It is actually a deceptively attractive shop. If I could ignore the incompetence at the counter, managerial rudeness, and poor quality of my food today, this would be a more positive review. So let's start...I ordered a combo item by number, which was the grilled cheese with ham combo including hash browns and a beverage. I requested the $0.50 upgrade to a large iced tea. I was told different base prices for the combo (the highest was $3.99); the posted price was clearly erroneous, since it was marked $30. Another customer asked if I wanted to add the $20 cheesecake square also on the posted menu board. Apparently the wrong sandwich (as I discovered later) was entered by the associate, who appeared to be having other issues with orders and working the register. I noticed that I had been charged a la carte for the hash browns and large tea, resulting in $3.99+0.79+1.99, rather than $3.99+0.50. [That's $2.28 plus tax in excess charges for those of you keeping score at home.] OK, while I admit that I have a problem when other people's incompetence costs me money, even small amounts, I really thought this could be easily resolved. It should be pretty simple to see the math error; however, the manager apparently chose not to use rudimentary math skills, and instead chose to argue that the cash register does the calculations and it cannot be wrong. In front of many waiting customers, he was exceptionally rude, argued, and ultimately finished with "you want money?...you want money?...here!" as he grabbed a couple of dollar bills from the tip jar and pushed them at me. So ignoring the fact that he still didn't fully compensate me, we can add to his managerial resume, that he cares little about his staff's tips on top of caring little about my issue. Incredulous, I left and went to my wife who had picked up the order and at this point realized the wrong sandwich had been ordered. The replacement sandwich was weakly grilled and extremely oily, so I didn't even get won over by a tasty treat after the publicly embarrassing scenario.
