We went here for blueberry muffins because we had already been to the one in Hopkinton. The muffins are absolutely amazing. There is no comparison anywhere. They don't use frozen or dried blueberries like some places do they use fresh blueberries and the muffins are huge. This one was a much larger store than the 1 in Hopkington. The service was excellent.They had plenty of people ready to serve us and there was ample parking. Inside , there are lots of places to sit and enjoy the muffins or pastries. We even got to see the founder sitting down at a table with some of the co-workers. I can't say enough good things about this place. They have such fun coffee flavors, the pastries are fresh and delicious and the staff is really friendly. They are always really busy but things flow pretty efficiently. Not worth the wait or the attitude. I ordered online and waited the full 45 minutes at home like I was told. I didn't show up "5 minutes later" like the owner claimed. That's just not true. When I got there, I picked up a watered-down coffee and a sandwich that ended up making me sick for the rest of the day. I was nauseous and ended up throwing up. If that's what they call "fresh food worth waiting for," then I want no part of it. Instead of taking feedback, the owner got defensive and tried to spin the story to make me look like the problem. Cute place with easy parking. We went on a Saturday late morning and met quite a crowd. The service is very nice and efficient. The ordering process is pretty confusing as a new customer. I know this wasn't unique to me as an elderly lady was scolded for not following the process. I would suggest an "Order here" sign to help mitigate the situation. We ordered an apple fritter, a pecan roll, a pumpkin muffin, a doughnut, a breakfast burrito and two lattes. The lattes are on the super sweet side. I'm sure this is great for some. The doughnut was delicious, as was the pumpkin muffin and the pecan roll. The burrito was pretty bland but giant. The apple fritter was actually inedible because of the thick coating on it. Muffin house cafe is the best for quick breakfast (sandwiches, muffins, pastries) and coffee. You honestly cannot beat their blueberry muffins. Very tasty, packed with blueberries, and a sugar top. The line can get pretty long here and sometimes service isn't the friendliest but I keep coming back for those muffins! I love my coffee and my sandwich I got! But the food and coffee from any muffin house is amazing! I go to the mendon location frequently! Stopped here in medway and was disappointed in the service. Stood in line for 10 minutes with no one else in line. The staff never acknowledged me and when other customers arrived they were helped before me. When I was finally helped I was then told "it would have been easier if you were in line correctly." Didn't love these donuts. They were just meh. There were so many options for hungry athletes and the young staff was really sweet. They took my order so quickly. I got my case pastries immediately. Made to order bagel, not toasted with cream cheese took at least 30 minutes. I don't actually know because we had to leave for an appointment. They had many muffin flavors but I didn't think they were good enough after which to name an entire establishment. The entire crew seemed to work very well together and they seemed to have a good system. Online orders appeared to be quicker. Good food, terrible customer service. Tried to order online but it wouldn't process so I had to call in. Spent 5 minutes on hold. Ordered two of the new breakfast mini wraps with bacon egg and cheese. Tried to order a coffee but was told I couldn't do that over the phone. I arrived at the store to find a very long line. It did move quickly but the server was very rude. When I asked for a large coffee she just stared at me. Finally I repeated large coffee and she responded with "Yeah, iced hot or what?" I don't appreciate getting belittled on a Sunday morning by an irate employee. When I arrived home and opened the wraps I was met with the unpleasant site of yolk everywhere. It seems that the eggs were cooked over easy and then squeezed in the bag causing the yolk to leak out. In addition neither wrap had bacon even though that's what I ordered and paid for. Muffin House does great business so this probably won't matter to them but after this experience I won't be back. 11/11 Update: I have to admit that I was wrong when I stated that this review won't matter to them. The business owner personally reached out to me here as well as privately via email. His response was quick and very apologetic. In addition, he outlined specific actions he took to make sure this wouldn't happen again. I look forward to giving them a second chance and am optimistic that I will be able to post a positive review about that experience! read more

Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy, but I could see why. There were tons of muffins to choose from and plenty of other options. Muffin House Cafe has everything from muffins of course, coffees with tons of flavors, and breakfast sandwiches. I got a pistachio muffin, a blueberry muffin, and my partner got egg and sausage on a bagel. I loved how cozy the inside was and the staff were super friendly yet attentive. We were asked three times if we wanted anything else and I understood why. There were so many options I had to add a second muffin last minute. 3.5 or 4. I got a chocolate chip muffin and i received it as pictured here. It looked partially eaten or broken off. I don't know why it looks like this. But it tastes good. They def use a lot of chocolate chips. The staff were really nice but as a germaphobe I didn't like that the girl serving me touched the tissue paper to her shirt for some reason (I guess to grab it better) and then used the side of the tissue paper that touched her shirt to grab my muffin. I still ate it but not happy about it lol. I go to muffin house in Mendon and let me just say I love it!! The food is great and so delicious. Everytime I go, I get a bacon, egg, and cheese and an iced mocha. It is amazing! The staff is very helpful. They always answer our questions no matter how busy they are. The cappuccino muffins are addictive. We also love their wraps especially the Thanksgiving wrap. We haven't found any coffee we like yet but we've only tried a couple of varieties. read more

Got a cranberry Orange muffin and a double chocolate muffin. Tried an eclair for the first time here. The double chocolate muffin was delicious, but the cranberry Orange tasted different from how I had it last time, there wasn't as much of an Orange infusion so it missed the mark for me. Muffin House made the cake for an event I was hosting and I don't think I'll ever go anywhere else! The cake was possibly the most delicious cake I ever had! It was a simple cake with buttercream frosting. I dropped off fake flowers (from Amazon, which were surprisingly real looking) and the cake decorators did a beautiful job with them! So disappointed when I walked in to the manager discussing on the floor saying " I don't know why people come here if they don't speak English and don't know how to order " And mind you my partner heard that. We get in line to order my son orders his food and asks for a specific food and she acts like she can't hear him so my partner repeated his request again and she ignored my partner. I assume maybe she's having a bad day. I go to muffin house in Medway regularly so I do in fact know how to order but I sometimes load my thoughts (Audhd) and she was trying to rush everytime I was thinking before speaking ( no line, usually it's super busy and none of the girls usually act like her but she seemed irritated) and then she started explaining things to me like I was slow but like I said I have been there a ton of time and I deff know how to order bc every time I was going to say something she ended up cutting me off. We get to the register and again starts to explain me to me how to use the register and I say okay thank you and then Explains again and again irritated and condescending like rushing me and acting like I'm stupid while I'm getting my Apple Pay and deciding on the screen what I'm going to tip because I've never had an experience like that so I tell her mam I'm filling out the screen for the tip and getting my Apple Pay thank you. And I don't typically have to think about it! So I finish and I'm so upset I tell my partner he tells me what she said before we're trying to order and I know she wasn't talking about me but as a woman of color to hear that ignorance on the floor! Unacceptable Unethical and gross. The treatment as well gross!! I've worked in coffee for 10 years never thought a a manger Found out she was the MANAGERRR!!!!! Spoke to the other manager she explained the "context " of the inappropriate conversation on the floor because of a doordasher who was working and didn't speak English and grabbed the wrong order by mistake ( which happens to English speaking people as well) but that does not change how rude gross and unethical that was! I've dealt with micro aggression and racism my whole life. I try not to go to a place of needing to feel like I have to protect myself but honestly thank you muffin house for showing what yall represent. read more

Everything is always freshd especially the sandwiches of May to order they sometimes used to have soup they used also homemade pizza but I believe now they only serve that on the weekends. No matter what location I go to everyone is kind considerate friendly helpful They just really want you to have a positive experience when you leave. They also have many flavored coffees hot and cold they also have regular coffee hot and cold. They are also the only place that I know of the sells the actual Jordan marsh blueberry muffins they have many other wonderful pastries and dessert items they may customize cakes and pies. They are really the place to go for your holiday if you'd like to buy from an actual coffee place like a bakery type of thing. They also have many other things to sell. Every day is an amazing visit you can always find something new and exciting and wonderful there. And the staff like I said is out of this world read more
