The workers are nice. However I have a big problem with this new system adding the tip option to the cash register . You can choose NO tip for sure and someone who buys coffee here every day, I will not tip every time. This is not about this particular shop, it's about Dunkin Donuts as a business not paying their workers properly so they have to rely on tips. And hoping the customer will feel obligated to give a tip. I will not give a tip every time and I am sure Dunkin will lose customers over this. My experience was terrible. First, they got our order wrong, we asked for the chocolate daydream refresher and gave us some protein latte. And, when we were ordering the women there yelled at us when we did nothing but ask for our food/drink. And after we were about to leave the workers talked about how we were annoying. I understand it might be a bit annoying while there is 4 girls there but they didn't have to say loud and clear. The tables were dirty as well. read more

As far as Dunkin' locations go this one is pretty good if you follow some best practices: they do have a small parking lot but it can only fit about 10 cars. If there is street parking available I usually opt for that because it is easier to get in and out. Next, if you go during high time (mornings) it is going to be busy. To work with this issue I use the app and order ahead and the order is waiting for me when I arrive. The people behind the counter are usually very friendly and do a good job of getting the orders right. They have all the basics inside that you'd expect from a Dunkin' - tables chairs tv slightly grimey bathroom cold drink case etc. read more

Woof ! Swing and a miss at this location .. got my expensive nitro cold brew all foam and no coffee , way under-filled.. they now charge a $1 for a cup of water even if you're ordering other things (rude).. and they're way understaffed. Probably one of the worst Dunkin' Donuts I've ever been to stay away! I tried them twice. I walk in last week after I left the hospital to get some thing as my blood sugar was dropping I didn't know that mask mandates went up for vaccinated people in Belmont as I walked in the employee told me to put a mask on just as another person came in with no mask and walked behind the counter. Now I don't have a mask to put on nor do they have one to give me when I brought that to her attention the woman rudely says to me well I work here. Since when did employees not have to wear a mask while walking in there. Are they more special then the customer? That is unacceptable behavior toward customers. the second time i went in this week another employee was rude and unprofessional and not explaining things thoroughly when I was ordering. I almost had this trashy high school teenager eye ball me and jump towards me from across the counter because she thought I said some thing I didn't. What kind of trashy business is this. Belmont has an indoor masking ordinance, but the young man at the counter wore his mask below his nose. When I pointed out it needed to be on his nose, he gave me a dirty look, pulled up his mask, grabbed my payment, scowled as he gave me change, and turned away - never processing my order and letting his mask slip down again. I'm a borderline Dunkaholic so this location gets a lot of repeat business from me even though it's not my favorite. Pros -Generally pleasant staff though there's an occasional rude rushing phenomenon that happens even when it's not busy. -Pretty good coffee (most of the time) -Fast service that doesn't come across as a continual crisis for the employees. -Extra sweeteners available for those of us who can't bring ourselves to ask for all the sweetener we really want in our coffee. Cons -No drive thru. I'm pretty sure that my weekly trips would double if there were a drive thru here. But alas... -Access. Especially during the morning rush, getting in and out of the lot is an exercise in patience, prayer, and parking skills. I see a lot of griping about the fact that this location has become something of an elderly hangout. Big deal; remember when the mall food court was the cool place to be? However, it feels a little awkward and cramped at times. I wish they would buy the adjacent lot and expand so that they could add a drive thru (Trapelo is quite busy) and a more seating-friendly floor plan. Confession: I am not a Dunkin fan. However, I live around the corner, and sometimes it happens. The service here - every single time - is amazingly fast. Any time of day, any line size, I am constantly shocked when they call my number. Don't be intimidated if you see a few folks ahead of you; you'll probably have to order before you're ready, and you'll be on your way before you know what happened. The reason I'm giving this one 2 stars instead of 3 is the parking situation. The Dunks itself is actually quite nice. It has a nice, clean "dining area" with a big plasma TV. The staff has been generally pleasant and usually gets the orders right, which seems to be a problem with most DDs. However the parking situation is pretty bad. There's about a half-dozen spots in the front section of the lot, which fit just fine. But the back area is way too narrow, making it tough to maneuver. Plus the spots are on a slant, but for some reason most people decide to park straight on. It's just a very very uncomfortable parking lot. read more

I used to pick up app twice this week and both times the employees did not fully complete my order. The last time I used the app I ordered coffees and Two Egg and Cheese Wake-Up wraps. I received no coffees and two ham and cheese rolls. I waited 10 minutes extra to receive my two coffees and I had to also repeat my order to the employee four times before she got it right. After I left I went to eat my food and luckily I realize before I ate it that there was ham in the wraps. I say luckily because I am allergic to ham. I went back and told the employees about the situation and I was given not one apology instead I was asked if I wanted to keep the sandwiches after I receive the refund despite the fact I had just told him I am allergic to ham. I work in the trades and I've been here dozens of times. They keep the line moving quickly, have always gotten my order right and have open tables and bathrooms even during the Covid times. If the lot fills up there is a decent amount of on street parking. The staff has always treated me well and I've never had a problem here. read more

They could start out by washing the tables. This place is filthy. The kids are friendly enough and nice but the place needs a good cleaning for sure. A bunch of old, cheap buzzards hang out there all day and look at the girls that walk in with hardly any clothes on which makes for a rather gross atmosphere. While they drink ice water all day i really don't understand how this place makes money without a constant inflow of customers at all times. It could be better staffed. Also the staff needs to learn how to listen to the customers when they are not only ordering but in general as well. I understand the paper slip helps people but if the customer says they know the number and don't need the slip the employee should except the answer not proceed with asking 10 different follow up questions. Also if the staff there is unsure of what to do with the slip the customer doesn't want they should throw it away not put it on the counter for the others to continually be asking about. This all seems like common sense but I guess not for this place. A person is capable of remembering a number and their order, it's not rocket science. The fact I had to be harrassed about a piece of paper is ridiculous, especially when the supervisor is right there hearing the whole conversation. read more

Disappointing staff. Was there this morning for coffee used my dunks card And was short 50 cents I asked them to cancel the transaction and re-load money on my card they said they couldn't do that... I said why not everyone else does there was no line and 2 open cashiers so I paid for my coffee in cash and had told them to then add money to my card the cashier and the girl next to her just looked at each other and said they couldn't do it so I left this is one of the worst Dunkins in the surrounding area I live around the corner and I drive to Medford just to go to the pleasant people on the high Street location. This Dunks is the place to be as demonstrated by the everyday gathering of elderly men. I know dunks always got my back before I head off for a long 6 hours at school. Dong is MY GIRL. She is lovely and greets everyone with a smile in the morning. She keeps the store moving and personally brightens my day. There are two Dunkin' Donuts in Belmont, and this is the superior one. The coffee is always a bit tastier and the atmosphere slightly more enjoyable. As with all Dunkin' Donuts, the coffee is good and the donut/muffin/bagel fare is acceptable. read more
