I spent a few hours reading in Bakehaus on a Sunday morning. I had a delicious breakfast burrito, iced chai, and chocolate croissant. It's a really cute space and they have a nice outdoor seating area too. The very kind and friendly staff even let my dog sit inside with us. Will definitely be back!!

With a German-inspired menu that gracefully straddles all the various camps (vegetarian/hot/cold/classic), this place is a breath of fresh air. The menu is lettered in a simple, attractive font and has a perplexing array of enticing options. Müsli? Chicken and waffles? Avocado toast? I ordered the Angry Amy, which appears to be a standard vegetarian breakfast sandwich, but was so soft and rich and decadent I was taken aback. The herbed English muffin perfectly framed the egg and melted cheese, and the hit of mayo and avocado just took it over the top. Übertoll! The large cappuccino I got was a bit light- I don't think the foam even came close to the rim. Also the scone my gf got was a little fluffier than standard- a good scone is chewy, and this could have stood a little more kneading, but the blueberry and icing were spot on. All in all, this was a little Sunday visit to Europe for an hour, and we'll be back.

Amazing food and quick service! The online ordering system is great and let's you know when your food is ready. The portion size and prices were excellent! Along with my breakfast sandwich I got an iced coffee which wasn't too strong or too light in flavor. Just right! Great place to stop in for some food and go on a nice walk around the area.

Found a new go to place and I cannot wait to go more often Angry Amy ($6): herb and garlic English muffin with egg, cheddar, avocado, tomato, and angry sauce I haven't had a breakfast sandwich in a long time and this totally hit the spot. The English muffin provides a nice herby and garlicky flavor that pair well with the creamy avocado and cheddar. The angry sauce is creamy and has a subtle spice that make this sandwich even more enjoyable! This paired with their @speedwellcoffee was just amazing

What an incredible addition to Cushing Square! I've had just about every croissant they offer (huge, flaky, soft, chewy, perfect) and the kouign amann is definitely a star! It's beautifully caramelized on the bottom, yet not overly sweet at all. In fact, all of the sweet pastries I've tried are perfectly balanced, never being too sweet. I look forward to having some of their heartier fare and the day when I can enjoy a meal inside this cute cafe!

OMG! This cafe is outstanding. Not only do they make great salads and parfait but also their basic breakfast sandwich and caprese panini sandwich are delicious. Their coffee is the bomb too. If you are a crossiant snob then look no further, Bakehaus will take your palate all the way to European bakeries. I love this place whether for breakfast, brunch, lunch or an afternoon snack. A must go!!!! They have really nice outdoor seating and the team takes great care to sanitize during covid. The team always greets you with a smile and is there to make your meal special. They use all compostable plastic and paper.

For food we ordered the eggplant sando and the chicken piccata sandwich. While both tasted good, I was surprised at how much more I enjoyed the eggplant one. The chicken sandwich was also good with thin layers of chicken, and flavored well. However I liked the chicken where as for eggplant I felt the sandwich as a whole worked well. There was also spicy goat cheese spread on the slider, however there wasn't a lot there to taste it with every bite and it certainly wasn't spicy. I would have loved more of it, because the bites that did get some were absolutely delicious in enhancing flavor with the egg. The sandwich itself is larger than expected, bigger than a typical slider which was a pleasant surprise. I also ordered an incredible Apple Cheddar biscuit on the side. It was freshly made, buttery, and had little apple chunks in it. Great experience and I highly recommend visiting if you're looking for quick and convenient breakfast, with a great quality and fair price!

He shouted out that she had "contaminated" the drink and he would make a new one for the correct customer. This was all said in a loud, actorly voice so that everyone in the shop could know that He Was Displeased. Note, the "contamination" consisted of the woman a) holding the cup of hot chocolate and, b) walking to her table with it. On a previous occasion, he yelled at an older woman in her 90s because she needed to sit down on a chair while he was sweeping. He snidely told her that she should go outside if she needed to sit. Her confusion about the seating was understandable, because for some unknown reason the cafe needs to close a full hour before the bookshop (and they begin this process earlier even than that, by "helpfully" putting away the chairs and turning off the lights). I guess they sell some croissants and coffee, but honestly: who cares, given the above?

Even tucked away at the end of a strip mall, it checks all the boxes: great beer, good food, plenty of space, and a fun atmosphere. My boyfriend is a loyal fan of the Cloud Candy IPA (he'll order it anywhere he sees it on tap), while I can never resist the Daiquiri Hard Smoothie (I forget what it's called, but it's so tasty lol). It's dangerously good... like, "I should probably pace myself, but that's a tomorrow problem" good. The brewery itself has a lot going on. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a coffee shop tucked in the back, a private event room, and even a rock-climbing gym connected to the building, which makes for a pretty unique setup. If you're lucky, you'll even catch the canning line running while you're there, which is fun to watch and reminds you you're drinking the good stuff straight from the source.
