    Window seat!

I had a lovely breakfast here on a Friday morning. The cafe was buzzing, but not totally full. I got a spot by the window which gave me enough space to enjoy my tea, eggs, and toast. I found the other patrons to be incredibly kind and friendly. I thought the fog tea was delightful! I left with a couple pastries - they had many options to choose from. There is 1 hour street parking outside.

This spot has such a homey feel. They have a diverse selection of baked goods, lunch foods, and prepared foods. Their seasonal flavors for their coffees are really tasty! They have a good amount of seating with the counter along the windows.

Staff is kind and welcoming and the Menu is creative and delicious! The baked goods were also creative flavors and well made. The puff pastry of the hand pie is to die for. The sandwich and sweets were good too!

Lots of points for aesthetic- it's very cute in there with tons handmade local items (there was a flower shop pop up happening while I was there!). Friendly, fast service. They have a pretty extensive menu with desserts and savory foods as well as seasonal coffee specials. I got a turmeric chai (yummy) and a gf chocolate chunk scone (needed some help). Seems like it would be an awesome place to hang out with friends or so some work!

So nice, I went twice in one weekend! Not to be dramatic, but their Pumpkin Spice Latte will change your life! Not the garbage 'pie spice' you get from other coffee shops, made with real pumpkin, this has a deep real-pumpkin flavor with a dash of pie spice making for the perfect fall beverage! A friend had recommended it and I went in last Saturday and was so blown away, I met another friend there on Sunday! She is not a big pumpkin fan and even agreed how incredible this was! We both ordered avocado toast to go with it and that was delicious as well! The staff here is so kind and helpful. We sat for a while and caught up and it was such a great vibe there.

10/10. Quick service and very hearty breakfast for an affordable price. Delicious americano. Will definitely be back. Couldn't be better.

I visited on a weekday afternoon and struggled to find a seat, or really even navigate the slightly cramped space. I got the turkey sandwich. It was double decker, which made it difficult to eat, threw off the bread to filling ratio, and I didn't like the separation between the wetter slaw and the much drier meat/cheese fillings. On top of it, I disliked the strong dressing on the slaw. I was pretty hungry but struggled to get through one half of the sandwich, and just threw away the other half. I also got a chai latte that was basically hot milky water with cinnamon, but that's essentially average anyways. It's clearly a popular and well-loved cafe, but I struggled to see why on this visit.

Great coffee! This is a super cute and great spot for a quick bite and coffee. My boyfriend and I stopped by to grab a light snack and coffee after a nice walk around the plaza. They have seasonal drinks so I got the peppermint mocha and my bf got an herbal tea since he doesn't drink anything with caffeine. We also grabbed some delicious apple scones. Everything was delicious! The mocha was perfect! And the scones were super yummy and nice and crumbly. We will definitely be back!

I like the interior of this place. The employees here are very helpful and they're always smiling. I was really looking forward to the almond croissant as that's one's if my favorite pastries but this had a weird after taste that I disliked. I'm not an early bird so I love that this place closes late.

I don't know how they get any traffic with the sign they have. It was cold inside. Time to turn on the heat. The Spot has a counter in back with a few bakery items. There were eight tables in front. The walls were filled with eclectic items. They have a woman that waits on the tables, provides menu and serves. She spends all her time behind the counter rather than waiting on tables. I ordered a Sara's omelette that includes three vegetables and 3 eggs. I chose spinach, mushroom and broccoli. I had fruit cup of melon, pineapple, cantaloupe and strawberries in lieu of toast and hash browns. The omelet was very good with lots of veggies inside. The fruit cup was on the small size but it beats additional carbs. I had to wait for my bill. I think they forgot about me. I finally had to get up and ask for bill. I would have to try again before I would pass judgement.

It wasn't too busy - there are 6ish tables and one server was waiting tables. She was very warm and friendly. I ordered two eggs over easy and my husband got an omelet. The food was decent, and prices are so affordable. However the potatoes were very bland and hard, and portion was small. Also they had forgotten the potatoes in my order although it comes with the meal but I mentioned it and it was corrected. We also ordered the Belgian waffle to share which definitely isn't "Belgian" style but it was good! Overall decent, I'd come again just for the cozy, warm vibe. I'm interested in trying their lunch menu next!

The perfectly preserved railcar diner (even down to the original refrigerator and clock on the wall) is only one of a few dozen still operating as a diner out of the hundreds that built by the Worcester Lunch Car Co. in the 1940s and 1950s. Maria Kitidis Mackay and her father George bought the diner in January 2020 and one or both of them are usually working the griddle daily.. as they were when I recently visited. I recently stopped in for breakfast two days in a row while visiting friends in Concord and the food was excellent both times. On my first visit, I had the two-egg platter ($8) with a unique Greek loukaniko sausage (+$7). The next day, I had the same platter with traditional pork sausage links (+$3). Both platters came with home fries and toast, and everything was incredibly fresh, hot, and really tasty. My dining companion also thoroughly enjoyed her meals and the classic diner ambiance. She tried the Florentine benedict ($14), which came topped with perfectly sautéed spinach and tomato, and on the next visit went with the spinach and feta omelet ($13). Our servers stopped by a few times to ensure everything was good. The only minor disappointment we experienced was that our servers didn't offer to refill our coffee, but otherwise, it was a fantastic visit. Maybe I should have asked? It is a terrific experience all around. Highly recommend checking this place out if you want great food, unique history, and a classic diner atmosphere! Even taking away a 1/2 star for our coffee snafu, it's still a solid 4.5 stars for the overall experience -- rounded up to 5 stars. PRO TIP: Bring cash. Wilson's does not accept credit cards.

The space is tight for a buffet, and we were glad to just miss being seated right next to where the diners were lining up for the buffet. They seemed to be a bit short-staffed as our server was attending to a section that included two large parties -- one of about 12 and another of 8 -- in addition to the smaller tables including ours. She came as soon as we were seated but only explained we could go up at any time and promised to bring water. We waited for her to return to take our beverage orders but finally grew impatient and got in line for the buffet. The buffet selections were scrumptious--breakfast and lunch options. The chicken and waffles seemed to be the most popular and the tray was empty when I got to it but a new batch arrived momentarily -- thank goodness! Yummy as I expected. I also had scrambled eggs and link sausages. I passed on a few other things like eggs benedict (the last in the tray which is never ideal). In hindsight the ideal time to arrive seemed to be about a half hour after your seating time, as by then the lines to the buffet were minimal (that's when I headed back for seconds). Oh and when I finally got to order my old-fashioned, it was delish. There is an attached parking garage (the red garage) and if you park at the right end of the building you just take the elevator to ground level and the restaurant is a few steps away. I'm not sure I'd return for the special celebration seatings. The price is right but the logistics, seating, slow service and lapse in keeping trays full of hot food would give me pause. On a regular day, however, no contest.

Then as our food came out, it was slow to arrive at the table, so nothing was served together. On top of the food that showed up being gross, the French toast never showed up until after everyone was finished. They took off half of our meal, but I would not recommend.
