My goodness! I came to this place with my dear friend Shannon. She had asked for a sausage sandwich with NO EGG because she has an intolerance to eggs and will get very sick. At our old age getting sick is very scary. I am very worried for her now. When we got home and were sitting on the patio to eat she opened her sandwich and it had egg on it!! Boy, what terrible way to start my day. Let me start off saying I have an egg intolerance and this Dunkin Donuts location should know that from the amount of forgiving times I have been here. I order a sausage and cheese sandwich SPECIFICALLY no egg, and these utter BUFFOONS see the "no egg" as YES EGG!! On one occasion I ordered my sandwich, and received egg on it, i was irritated but i simply removed it and threw it out the window. Another occasion though, THEY GIVE ME ONLY EGG AND BREAD!! What in the Sam hill?? Can they not read?? Probably not since companies down here LOVE to hire ILLEGALS!! That really ruffled my feathers... But the third time ( and LAST time) i ordered at this Dunkin. They GAVEME DOUBLE EGG!! That DOES IT!! How hard is it to make a sausage and cheese sandwich with NO EGG?? Apparently VERY HARD!! Unfortunately This is the only establishment in Brownsville and it seems that's what draws customers back. What is lacking is Professionalism and Work etiquette within the staff towards there customers. Granted customers may NOT always be kind or generous BUT there is a time a place to loose your composure. Working at ANY establishment you must show pride in your work and above all within yourself. Regardless of gender you must always ENFORCE basic fundamentals like common courtesy (respect, think of others besides yourself), proper greetings (a simple Good morning or time of day) can really increase the morale and and draw double the customers for a more welcoming environment. read more

Absolutely always gets an order wrong. You always have to expect something to come out wrong. Hot coffee is always lukewarm. Service is horrible. The atmosphere is bad. You would think the person who opened this store is trying to launder money with how poorly kept this location is. read more

Giving 2 stars instead of 1 only because I am an avid Dunkin fan (born and raised new englander). But the franchise owner or management have got to do something about their inventory. I've been here multiple times early-ish (between 8AM-9AM) and they are always out of so many products. They need to either make or order (whichever they do) more donuts and bagels. read more

This place is awful, absolutely awful I would go to Shipley doughnuts if I could find one. I have been there twice and have given me the wrong item both times, and the service is terrible the seasons move faster than they do. Maybe it's because I'm from the north east where we have Dunkins and you actually can get a coffee in under 10 minutes at drive-through. I've been here several times to give them a "do over" chance and each time they get things WRONG! They can't get a simple donut order right even after repeating the order! They seriously need to train these kids to get the order right! When they finally understand the order (at the window cause the drive thru speaker doesn't work) they say they don't have the items! Imagine you go to a place that has donuts in its business name and they tell you they don't have any made at 1pm Sunday afternoon "we're barely making the donuts" was their response. Long line that I waited in for 10min, no sign on the menu and no donuts lol. They open at 430am in the morning... makes no sense but after reading the other reviews its just a reflection of the business owner and management. Being born and raised in New York, I LOVE Dunkin donuts. Lived the past 4 years in Cali, no Dunkin donuts there. Been in southern Texas for 7 months now and no Dunkin donuts and now finally!!!! So, so, SO happy! Now I will tell you something-the doughnuts here are NOT like the ones sold in Shipley's, HEB, etc. that are really soft and super sweet, we north easterners don't like super sweet, melt in your mouth, super super soft doughnuts so if you are looking for that, this isn't the place. I have been here several times and love it. The donuts seem very fresh and tasty. The iced coffee is pretty awesome too. Employees are kind and helpful. The place is always very very clean. They keep it pretty cold in the store so bring a jacket. I highly recommend the Boston cream donut or the krueller. Make sure to stir your iced coffee though because it always needs an extra few stirs! read more

My best friend and I went to DD. I ordered a breakfast combo. We changed our minds and asked if I could cancel the order. No problem per the nice young lady. She offered a refund or to write my name down so I could redeem at a later time. I opted for the later. 2 days later, we went back. I explained about the credit. My order was incorrect when it arrived. It was corrected in a timely manner by Frank. He was respectful, didn't argue, didn't make faces, etc (which seems to be the norm here). We complemented him on his all around service, attention, and attitude. We stated that he should be made a manager. He stated he had just been promoted. Congratulations to DD for recognizing the potential in Frank! As business owners ourselves, it was nice to receive this kind of service. I was born and raised in New England and grew up on Dunkin' Donuts. Super excited that these guys are here! The coffee is awesome and cheap, half of what you pay for at Starbucks. The donuts themselves are more cake-like than I think people here are used to, but people must like them because if you try to get one after lunch they are usually out of about half the flavors. I love the breakfast sandwiches, especially the sausage egg and cheese on a croissant. I get the combo with the yummy hash browns and upgrade the coffee to a large iced coffee. Makes my early morning classes so much more bearable. read more

Save your money, you are better off purchasing donuts from HEB bakery or Walmart's because they taste the same and it's cheaper too. Their breakfast is better than their donuts even though that's where they should be the strongest, hence the name, but honesty the breakfast is better elsewhere as well. read more

Good Grief !!!! This place couldn't get an order correct if their life depended on it! I work down the street. The only reason I continue to stop there is because I like the breakfast sandwiches. The coffee can't touch McDonalds. The individuals taking orders have ZERO level of comprehension. I could write a book on the # of errors in my orders in recent months, but will simply focus on my experience today. I ordered a #5 (meal) on a croissant rather than a bagel and a large BLACK, HOT coffee. She said "Ok, a large HOT coffee. Do you want Cream and sugar?" My reply, "No Cream, No Sugar, I ordered it BLACK". Just FYI, Black means NO CREAM AND NO SUGAR. Please tell your employees that. Also, if you don't say the word HOT you will receive ICED Coffee....trust me. First she tried to charge me $11.42 for the order and argued with me when I told her it should be $7.00. It took a couple minutes of arguing w/her and me saying three times to please refigure the amount. Then I got to work and guess what. The coffee has cream and sugar! As I said, Zero level of comprehension. I'm lactose intolerant and a diabetic! I use splenda and no cream. I called and a young man named Juice (he said "like orange juice") said they will give me the same meal on my next visit. Sure hope they get it right.
