The staff member did not ask for my name. I thought that was unusual, but I didn't say anything since they were busy. I figured maybe they were getting my name off my debit card. I sat down at a table six feet away from the order dispersal point. I waited five minutes. I never heard a single name called, but staff kept placing orders on the counter. There were three other customers waiting for orders. There were about five orders sitting on the counter. Finally I got up, saw a sandwich sitting next to a Venti hot drink, checked the labels, and realized it was my order. I took my order, sat down, took a sip of my coffee, and realized that they had forgotten the 2 shots of espresso and cream. I get that I came in at morning rush hour, but I expect quality service. I could've gotten better service across the street at McDonald's. Next time, I'll inconvenience the staff and make a stink.

They had 16 flavors of gelato to choose from and from what I've heard, they change flavors a lot. Unsure if it's daily or weekly, but what my friend recommended to me was not even an option. They do let you try a sample of the different flavors, so that is appreciated. I ended up choosing the cheesecake, butter pecan, and the blueberries & cream. Throughout the entire visit, not a single smile, thank you, or basic courtesy--just the bare minimum interaction. I understand it's a chain, but that's no excuse for ignoring customers. If I'm polite and respectful, the least I expect is to be acknowledged. It's easy to forget that without customers, places like this wouldn't last.
