At the airport, I immediately beelined to the restaurant when I saw it. I ordered the PB Reuben. It was a massive sandwich piled with almost 2 inches of corned beef and pastrami. The flavor of the meat was amazing. It was interesting to have fries on the sandwich which added a different texture to the food when I bit into them. I really loved the sandwich so much so that I was thinking about it the next day. Truly one of the most fulfilling and delicious sandwiches I have ever tasted. Our server, Emily, was a rock star. She was appropriately attentive and always had a nice smile on her face while she helped us. The restaurant had a bar feel to it which made it a comfortable place to have lunch while waiting for my flight. I am glad we followed through on the recommendation to eat here.

And yeah, I'm sure it's not as good as the originals, but if you're a tourist or someone who's never had it before, this is still a perfectly solid introduction to what Primanti's is. One thing I appreciated: you can order sandwiches to take home with you, just not fully assembled "to go." They'll separate everything so the fries and slaw don't turn your sandwich into soup by the time you get to your destination. Smart move honestly. I took the Capicola home and ate the pastrami there at the airport. Once I got home I added an egg to the Capicola, which is definitely the move if you're eating it outside the restaurant. Still, I ended up liking the pastrami more. I'm just not really a gabagool guy, but I wanted to eat the hits. And honestly? Even after all these years, it still tasted exactly how I wanted it to taste. That's probably the best compliment I can give it. You can also sit inside or outside, which honestly changes the whole airport experience. If you want to escape the chaos of people pacing around on speakerphone, sit inside. If you want to people-watch and judge airport outfits, sit "outside" and just gawk at humanity rolling by. Also: get the pickles. Always get pickles.

My husband and I visited this particular DiBella's Subs in Robinson Township one time. Menu items include submarine sandwiches (e.g., salami, ham, turkey, corned beef, tuna, roast beef, capicola, chicken, cheesesteak, meatball, and veggie), salads (e.g., pasta, macaroni, and potato), and cookies (e.g., chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin). For lunch my husband ordered a 10-inch grilled chicken Philly sandwich. After he paid and had his receipt, an employee asked him if he had ordered a different sub, and he corrected her, and then she dishonestly told another employee that he had "changed" his mind. After many minutes, an employee handed him the correct sandwich. Including tax and tip, it cost about $16. The restaurant contained many tables and chairs, but we got the sandwich as takeout. My husband said that he liked the taste of his grilled chicken Philly sandwich.

Does anyone else remember when DiBella's used to load up their subs with meat?…read more The quality and quantity of the food has really slipped over the last few years. There was a time where you could bite into a DiBella's sub and there would be a generous portion of meat on it. Now? Most bites are just a lot of bread and toppings. I have never had an issue with the service here. Unless you consider not loading up the subs part of the service. Everyone is friendly. Because there is so little meat on the subs, I would now consider them too expensive. On a scale of 1-5: Food - 2 Service - 4.5 Price - 2

While I had no problem getting to the terminal, I arrived 3-1/2 hours before my flight. Not only did I have an espresso martini at 5AM at the appropriately named Martini (review: https://yelp.to/FLBmD_s2iS) but I decided to have breakfast here because frankly it was the one spot that was open earlier than the other airport eateries. I ordered a much needed $2 Coffee (Photo 2) and the $14.88 Western Omelette (Photo 4). First things first, I noticed only later that I was charged four dollars more without any explanation on the receipt. I should have noticed, but did I mention I already downed an espresso martini? The eggs were strangely overcooked with a paucity of ham and a strange texture to the cheddar cheese. Why didn't I rate it one star? The two slices of Italian toast and the crispy home fries improved the dish. Marginally. OK. In fairness, I did lookup whether lettuce belonged on a traditional gyro and it does NOT. Fair enuff because there was a wee bit of lettuce, and, by wee bit, I mean traces, not even a 1/16th of a leaf. So, before I complained here about a lack of lettuce, I wanted to be sure of the intention. Soo, fine. But, still, it wasn't a sandwich worthy of a place saying they do Greek fare. I've had way better at Orthodix Greek church festivals.
