Hockey puck hash browns and snacking bacon ball.

The people who work there are friendly enough. I order the snacking bacon quite regularly from different Dunkin locations and this is the only place that gives it to me in a ball. It is hard to snack when I practically need a knife to eat it. Also got hash browns that are as hard as hockey pucks. I couldn't even eat them.

No I'm going from a five-star to a three because of the sudden disgusting increase in pricing. And yeah you can't blame COVID cuz yeah that was 6 years ago and that story is getting old. So what is it? Why did I just spend $10.27 for a tuna salad sandwich on a toasted hard roll with lettuce and a medium hot tea with just sugar? How disgusting is that? Now I know that just coming to an establishment like this shows that you have disposable income but come on now.... Does the owner of this establishment of this chain really need to financially rape their customers to get ahead? So maybe it's time for a boycott of this place. Maybe it's time to send a message to the owner that you can be replaced.

I have been waiting for a reason to try out the service and food at Chip City. Their web site didn't say they had Crookie items here so I shrieked with excitement. The person behind the counter seemed shocked that I didn't know. It made my day to get an original croissant chocolate chip cookie. Served warm. Heaven!!! The strawberry pop tart cookie is frosted in store when you order and the mini pop tarts also added. I didn't know this process either. It added to the fun atmosphere to watch our order be put together.

My daughter and I decided to order the S'mores Chocolate Chip Cookie. The cookie was soft, decadent, moist, ooey gooey, and just delicious. The cookies are big and have a whooping price of five dollars a cookie and I believe twenty three dollars for six cookies. The customer service was great as the staff were very welcoming and pleasant,

So naturally had to take advantage of the free matcha they were offering with purchase. There was a bit of a line but worth the wait. The space itself is beautiful--very minimal with white floors, high vaulted ceilings, and a really open feel. They have a retail wall on the left with some gorgeous ceremonial tea sets imported from Japan that I spent way too much time looking at. As for the drinks, you can tell they aren't cutting corners. They use ceremonial grade matcha from the Mizoguchi family (who apparently have 400 years of history in Kumamoto), and everything is organic. I tried two different vibes: * Golden Hour: This was a standout. It's a mix of coconut, turmeric, ginger, and some warming spices like nutmeg and cardamom. It had a nice little kick from the peppercorn. * Kokuta Hojita Latte: I got this with almond milk. The Japanese black sugar gives it a really deep, toasted sweetness that isn't cloying. The staff was super friendly and nailed the order. Also, side note: they have a modern touchless POS system, which made paying quick and easy. My only gripe--and it has nothing to do with the shop itself--was the seating. It's pretty limited to begin with (a sofa, some small tables, and one Japanese Ceremonial Table). Unfortunately, the "Zen" vibe was a bit ruined by someone hogging the entire ceremonial table with her laptop and books while other people were literally standing around waiting for a spot. Definitely not very zen behavior! Overall, it's a cool spot for a high-quality matcha fix. Just maybe don't expect to lounge for hours if it's busy.

Visiting the area from Los Angeles for business so I really wanted a diner for a dinner option. My…read moreserver was very polite and the free parking lot in back was easy but it was not my favorite diner experience of the year. Inside is fairly small but the tables are large and can host groups up to six per table. They do have a giant menu filled with all sorts of options, some of them are pretty crazy, especially the influencer section of the menu. I started off with a cup of the chili and wasn't a huge fan of it. It tasted more like the Cincinnati chili and had a large amount of oil. For my entrée, I chose the cheesesteak and was hoping it was going to be like a traditional Philly style, but it wasn't quite. I liked it more than the chili but still made me wish that I ordered a tuna melt or something else. I would give it a try again on a future visit but would want to try it again before I recommend.

Today was the first time we've eaten here in years. We were seated immediately but we waited more than 40 minutes for the food to come. We watched people leave because they could not wait for their food any longer. At first, I thought a chef must have called out. When our food finally came, I was forced to look at the most unappealing home fries that were molded to the plastic container they were stored in. At least try to make them look fresh bru. And the whole restaurant was cold. I was cold. The food was cold. This place should be called COLD Street Diner, am I right? And the coffee refill came like once. In the whole hour and a half we were there. The only times someone would walk by was to clear a table, or that guy idk who he is idk if he's the owner but he was wearing balenciaga sweatpants and then he would just go stand by the register to sip on some wine. My mother ordered the huevos rancheros and they were bland asl. I ordered the birria omelette and it was BLAND EVERYTHING WAS BLAND!!! The birria was just wet it didn't taste like anything bro. We haven't been to the Norwalk location but a lady sitting next to us noticed that we weren't happy with our food and she was speculating that all the good cooks got transferred there. Whether it's the cooks to blame, or the fact that it's a busy Saturday, it's safe to say we will not be coming back.
