The Drip is brand new in town, recently opening to replace Plateau Espresso, and it's already one of my favorite stops! The breakfast burrito was huge and packed full of flavor--eggs, hatch green chile, cheese, and fresh bacon. Highly recommend. Their Signature Drink, The Drip, is an iced caramel macchiato, and I'll probably get it every time! I also tried the ham and swiss croissant. It was fresh, buttery, and nicely pressed--good overall, though for $10.99 (no chips or side, sandwich only) it probably wouldn't be my go-to choice next time. No drive-thru line either visit, so grabbing coffee and food was quick and easy! Friendly service, fresh food, and a great addition to Alamogordo. The cinnamon roll was excellent. The latte mediocre. The young woman who waited on us clearly hated us and did not want us there. It's a horrible feeling to walk into a place, looking forward to a treat, and to have the help give you a hateful look right off the bat. She was glum and barely civil as she prepared our drinks and treats. We were there on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at approximately 2:30 pm. We will never be there again. read more

Even though it's only a BLT on a everything bagel, it was really good and made me want another. The service was really nice and fast. The Drip also has a very cozy vibe that makes you wanna just sit down and enjoy a nice hot coffee or sit outside and enjoy a nice cold coffee. I really recommend this place to try at least once. read more

Found this little gem simply because we were hungry for breakfast and we love New Mexico burritos! This place was amazing! The burritos were so big I couldn't finish mine. Did not take a photo because they look just like their marketing says!!! Which as you can see, mouth watering. My only regret was that we declined the salsa which I bet would have been fantastic but pretty sure I would have spilled it all over in the car haha. The coffee was excellent! The coffee is great, the people are super nice, the decor and environment is comfy, bright and happy and the view is the best in town. We've had the bacon breakfast burrito served with salsa on the side and it's really good. We walk up with our dogs on the weekend and sit outside overlooking the entire basin. When traveling for work, I seek out local establishments for food and coffee. I am EXTREMELY happy that I found The Drip! This place is a whole VIBE!!!! The experience begins with chic, modern, but still chill decor, amazing views of the mountain landscape, and a very welcoming personality and beautiful smile from the main barista. The menu is a perfect blend and variety of delicious food and unique lattes, and amazingly smooth coffee and espresso. Each time we went, we tried new items from the menu and were ALWAYS highly pleased with our purchases! Know before you go....this place can get rather busy so you may have a little bit of a wait, but I promise you it will be SO WORTH IT! And even during the mad rush of patrons, the barista continues to smile, make casual conversation with you as she's making the drinks, and still manages to make sure you feel welcomed into this beautifully wonderful eatablishment! Everything about this place is 5 stars. The food was incredible and actually prepared fresh. It's not frozen, microwaved stuff. I got a breakfast burrito that was FANTASTIC. My wife got oatmeal and she raved about it. The coffees were perfectly prepared to order. The service was great. I can't believe this place only has 4.3 stars. Coffee is great. I always get just a plain latte and I feel like when that is good, it's a sign for all the other options. There is both inside and outside seating and the views are lovely. However, the muffins are so dry and lacking in flavor and the service was absolute trash. The girl at the register was rude, dismissive, and off putting. She said she would bring my drink and muffin to me, I let her know I would be outside. After 15 minutes I went in to check and my coffee was just sitting on the counter. When I asked her if it was mine she looked at me like somehow I should just know and then asked for my name. Like I wasn't the last to order (no one else had come in). Then I asked about my muffin and she said let me check on that. They are literally wrapped by the front register. At best she's new and needs support. At worst she's a bigot who doesn't like tattoos and a rainbow purse. I'm usually pretty chill but her demeanor was totally unacceptable. read more

The staff is super friendly, the coffee is good, and the home made banana bread was awesome and they even heat it up for you. My husband got the ham and cheese bagel and he loved it too. We're planning to stop by tomorrow morning again one more time before we head east again. read more

Pricey, but very good quality. Ordered a hot matcha latte with Irish cream flavor and it was amazing, sometimes matcha is hit or miss. The flavor shots were an additional 70c and that's kinda annoying add on prices for everything but as I said the food was excellent. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind and had free cold water available that was nice. I believe reviews should be done for great quality, value and staff addaboys, not to get you to the number 1 spot for marketing when googling a coffee shop. Since most of the reviews that have been left are from friends and family, not to mention numerous reviews by the same person, I would like to leave an honest review. Upon entering the facility, it was clean and freshly painted with a wonderful view and updated look. It was about two minutes before anyone addressed me for service. The young lady had a look of irritation and acted as if I had interrupted. I ordered a small iced coffee with flavoring, no add on's. I also order a croissant with ham and cheese, no add on's. it took 15 minutes and I was hit with a charge of $18.00. The croissant was small and only had cheese, nothing else. Previous owners included chips and pickles, and was quite a bit cheaper. I have to say I was not impressed and surprised by the cost. A quality sit down breakfast/lunch/dinner, doesn't cost this much. Don't think I will be returning. read more
