Dessert that night was a slice of cake that was absolutely delicious. Since then, I've gone back twice and left just as satisfied. For breakfast Friday morning, I had eggs over easy with home fries and bacon--everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Saturday's lunch was a massive Italian sub (or "hoagie" as they call it in Delaware) that was so big I couldn't finish it in one sitting. Their baked desserts are amazing--my personal favorite is the yellow cake with chocolate icing. Service can be a bit slow at times, but the staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and the food keeps me coming back. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Smyrna.

After waiting another 20 minutes with no inquiry about if we wanted food, i asked the other patrons if we heard the waitress right that she was waiting for the cook. They explained the espresso machine issue and then said that they also ordered bagels an hour prior and were still waiting so the cook must not be there at all.
