From time to time I come to this Dunkin Donuts to get my morning or afternoon fix. I always order using the Dunkin App so when I get there I don't have to worry about what to order I just drive up to the window and my order is ready. I have only had a few problems with this location and my order. One most recent was I ordered a Cold Brew and some Munchkins. When I pulled up to the window they informed me that they didn't have any Cold Brew because the night shift didn't make it. That was disappointing but the crew offered me an iced dark roast instead and even threw in some free donuts because they didn't have my coffee. I agree with the other posts that this place may not have the best staff but I do see them getting better each time I go. read more

Under no circumstances should you come into this DuDos. Only use the drive through. I waited 20 minutes as the only customer inside for two simple sandwiches. If you want a lot of attitude and a small selection of donuts then this is your place. There have been a couple of friendly workers but they usually don't end up working there long and the rest have nothing but attitude. They always seem short handed and the lobby is constantly closed because they only have 2 people working. When they make a mistake on your order they will try to blame you because they can't open there ears and listen. I heard one worker bad mouthing a customer in the lobby where we could all hear her, some girl with red hair. The owner apparently doesn't care about this location. read more

I've been to several different locations and have received exceptional customer service and my order was perfect. At this location you never know how your drink is going to taste and what frumpy face you'll pull up to at the window. Its sad that I had to start going in to see who was making my drink to determine how I should place the order. I mean don't they have recipes and doesn't one cream=1scoop, two sugar =2scoops. First time here, not impressed with the drive thru. I order a bacon egg and cheese croissant and vanilla iced coffee. The big box says what kind of vanilla iced coffee.......I repeat a caffeinated one because I have no clue what they offer, a snide just a regular coffee then came back at me. I get to the window and see a sign that says 2 for crosswinds bacon egg and cheese. They never mentioned it to me when I referee when 1 costs 4$. That was upsetting; but the icing on the proverbial donut was when they said we are out of crosswinds, how about a bagel or English muffin. So I ordered the bagel, still no mention of the special. I've gone to this location for the past two days asking for a "skinny vanilla latte" which is a very normal alteration to the drink and for the past two days the same woman has been extremely rude to me over my order. Saying "this isn't Starbucks", "we don't even have that", "you want a who?" It's a really simple drink to ask for at a COFFEE shop and you'd think they'd be a little nicer if they're confused on it. As someone from Boston, where Dunkin' was founded and is abundant, I've always been a loyal Dunkin customer. I'd go every day. But the customer service at this location is so terribly bad that I've reluctantly switched to Starbucks and drive all the way to O'Fallon for my morning coffee. The workers treat you like you're a burden by going there, like you've interrupted them by making them do their jobs. They never say "thank you" or "have a good day", even if you say it to them first and treat them with kindness and respect. Sometimes they won't say anything, sometimes they'll ask "what do you want?" In a rude tone when you get to the drive through speaker, sometimes they argue with you over stupid things, and god forbid you ever ask them a question. I've brought friends and family to this Dunkin just because they didn't believe how unbelievably rude the staff is, and now they won't go there either. They never have anything you want, half of the time they aren't making hot food, and if you want to try anything new or featured forget about it they aren't going to have it. This location is the absolute worst. My daughter and I have a tradition of coming here before dance on Saturday mornings, and if it wasn't for the hash browns that she just loves, I would never come here again... The staff are incredibly rude! The management seems to be the root cause. A few weeks ago I ordered the bacon maple croissant and a few orders of hash browns. About a mile down the road, I realize I'm missing a hash brown and my sandwich is cold, and the completely wrong item. I call the store stating that I do not have time to come back and have the order faxed as we are on our way to dance. I was told to just come back in the next time I'm around and they would give me the correct sandwich for free as a replacement. This is all fine with me, except for when I went back to claim this a couple weeks later, they told me that it had been too long and they would no longer honor the replacement sandwich. It had been 30 days!!!! I live in St. Louis and I'm not over here all the time, and because my daughter didn't have dance class the last Saturday it had been a month since I've been back over in Fairview Heights. This one is new. But it's also my first go with DD. After 2 tries, I won't be back. First trip, service was ok, the place was busy...but the donuts were terrible. I ordered a mixed dozen and every single donut in the batch tasted like a salt shaker. Second trip...I ordered a caramel latte (bad bad bad...I don't even know how to verbally describe the horrendous taste produced). I attempted to order a coffee role...they were out; then an apple fritter...they were out. So I got a strawberry and chocolate glazed. I could not believe they were out of donuts. It's not like it was 9 PM at night...it was 8 AM in the morning! You make and sell donuts...offer enough stock to satisfy your customers! Let's just say that in my opinion if you want donuts the quality of DD...go to a gas station and save yourself some money. Or if you are visiting the Fairview Heights location, go to Krispy Kreme which is only a block away. First of all this new location needs to get it together. Walked in and we stood at the counter for five minutes. No one ever came to the register to take our order. You could hear people in the back talking. The gentleman working the drive thru looked right at us and went back to the drive up and never acknowledged we were even there. Another customer came in but still no one came to the counter. Stopped in after church with my two granddaughters. The drive through line was packed but only 10 customers or so inside. Courteous, prompt and very fresh donuts. The shelves had a good variety of donuts, long-johns, and donut-holes. Coffee was good and it was nice to see a variety of drinks for kids (apple juice was their choice). Unfortunately we just had a disappointing trip through the drive thru at this Fairview Heights location. When we pulled up there was only one car in front of us at the drive thru ok cool they aren't busy on a weekend that was great news. As we pulled up to order, the list of donuts was not listed on the main menu, only on a yard sign stuck in the ground on the far side of the stand alone speaker for ordering, so nobody in the car but the driver could see. Upon ordering, They were out of the first three donuts we asked for including long Johns of any kind. When we asked if they had any cinnamon flavored donuts or cinnamon rolls we literally heard someone in the background through the speaker say "ha, NO" in a very rude tone as the woman taking our order more politely told us they didn't. When we pulled up after ordering, they asked us three different times what order was ours. It didn't make sense to be confused since the only car that was before us was long gone by the time we finished ordering. Since there was such confusion and the total they finally gave us seemed quite high for the few donuts we ordered, my husband nicely asked for the receipt. The guy at the window didn't respond to the request, shut the window and walked away. Needless to say the customer service and possibly preparation of products for a weekend breakfast place should probably be addressed by their management. I worked at a different location for quite a while and I can't believe employees here are this unpleasant.
