They went online in late 2022, so I don't make it out that way anymore. July 2020: My girlfriend of that time & I WiFi here after my work travel. She was working remotely and tagged along for a day trip to Hagerstown. At this time, my work travel here was just drop boxes in the lobby as they were closed to the public during Covid. Afterward, went to Krispy Kreme for a coffee drink & maybe donut which was a comfortable environment with good lighting. Staff was friendly, and the quality of the donut/coffee was great. March 2022: This was a terrible day, but at least Krispy Kreme was comfort donut & sweet caramel coffee drink. I was in my office that morning and traveled to Hagerstown on work travel in the afternoon. At 9:15 AM while in office, my dad called me, which was pretty unusual for him to call that early. He was bawling saying that the family dog died. Early March was a sad time. I was despondent but still proceeded to Hagerstown that afternoon as I had previously planned for that Wednesday. Once again, Krispy Kreme was there with a nice staff and great donut & caramel coffee drink. I don't even think I bothered with WiFi that time as I just wanted to go straight home after a quick bite here. Conclusions: People think of Krispy Kreme for the donuts, which are great light & airy and awfully sweet. But people don't think about their drinks, which are solid. If ever in Hagerstown, I'd try to return here.

The staff is amazing, the drinks are always perfectly made, and the coffee is superb. Truly, everything about this store is wonderful--except for one recurring issue. No matter how many donuts I order (usually 8 or fewer), they always place them in a bag instead of a box. This often causes the donuts--especially frosted ones--to get squished, stick together, or end up with frosting smeared everywhere. Unfortunately, by the time I get them home, they're a mess, and my boyfriend and kids no longer want to eat them. They end up going to waste, which is disappointing. Every other Dunkin' I've been to provides a box--even for just two donuts--especially when they're frosted. If this location could start doing the same, it would literally be perfect. I truly hope this small change can be made because everything else here is top-notch!

This just so happens to be the 1-year anniversary of this awful experience with this Dunkin' on Sunday, June 1, 2025. We were starting our vacation to Canada and were first heading to Flight 93 Memorial. I chose this Dunkin' about 1 hour 15 minutes from my home for breakfast as it was conveniently located off freeway with quick access to get back on & off I-70. We each got breakfast croissant and iced coffees. Unfortunately, my girlfriend accidentally spilled the iced coffee when she was putting lid on. We were still waiting on the sandwiches, which came out. Albeit rare, accidents happen. We thought they were remaking her drink we paid for, but they refused. Staff member said the manager told us we're not allowed to remake spilled drinks. My g/f & I thought it was ridiculous. She worked at Starbucks before, and while spilled drinks weren't a super common occurrence, they would always remake the drink no questions asked. It was unprecedented a coffee shop would ever not do this to a paying customer; never heard of a Dunkin, Starbucks, Krispy Kreme (see my 5-star review of them east of downtown HGR on US 40), etc. There are several other Dunkin' in the Hagerstown area; go to Krispy Kreme, any other (unless it's the same owner as this store), local coffee shop, Sheetz (almost across the street from here), etc. over this location. There was a Dunkin' close to here off I-70 on Sharpsburg Pike, but involved 2 left turns to get off & on 70 westbound. I'd rather make TEN left turns than going to this location! After we left, we were depressed from this terrible experience and sour way to start our vacation. I said I can stop at Sheetz for you, which she agreed. She paid for the Sheetz, since I paid for the Dunkin'. It involved 2 left turns and a delay in trip (albeit only a few minutes, but a few minutes we should've have had to deal with in the first place). After our vacation, I tried to resolve this by emailing/calling Dunkin'. While corporate was fine, they said there was nothing they could do since it was a franchise store. They would inform manager to have her call/email me back. Not surprisingly, crickets from this manager.
