Messy store, lids were coated in sugar and liquid. Poor customer service, it was like a competition to see who could not help. Ok coffee.

We came to Cocoon for a quick bite after visiting the shops in The Silk Mill. From what I…read moreunderstand, this building was the nursery for the silk worms back when the Silk Mill was an actual Silk Mill, thus the name "Cocoon". This area is rich with history, and to celebrate America's 250th anniversary, this site (right outside Cocoon) was chosen as one of the places in PA that would get a dedicated liberty bell replica. It is dedicated to the very young (mostly immigrant) women who worked in the Silk Mill and largely went unnoticed during their time. The staff at Cocoon was friendly. Their latte machine was out of service when we visited so we opted for smoothies. The smoothies were delicious, might be a little too sweet for some, but I enjoyed my Pina Colada flavor! I am not sure how "healthy" it was considering the vibrant flavor and sweetness, so if that is your goal I would suggest inquiring what goes into it to make sure it meets your needs. The Mac and cheese was exceptional, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his grilled cheese. He enjoyed both so much that throughout the rest of our time in the area, he kept mentioning them. I, however, was disappointed with my selection. I ordered the Caesar sandwich on focaccia. The menu mentioned "crispy chicken" and "romaine" but my chicken was completely "naked" and bland and a bit rubbery, and the "romaine" definitely looked like iceberg lettuce to me, it was yellow rather than green. The Caesar flavor did not come through. A few bites in I was completely grossed out and only ate half, I wouldn't have even eaten that much if it wasn't for the intention of keeping me sustained until our next meal. I would recommend they take this item off the menu, if it wasn't for my husband and son's amazing meal, I would have a very bad impression of their food menu.

We had docked our boat and ordered food to go. We got the BBQ boneless wings, which were basically chicken nuggets with BBQ sauce. I understand that's essentially what boneless wings are, but it would have been much better if they were at least tossed in the sauce. We also ordered the blackened chicken wrap, but the chicken seemed more like regular grilled chicken than blackened. The Reuben was decent, and the pizza was... well, it's PA pizza what can you expect? Overall, we had a great experience because of the staff and atmosphere. The food was okay, but it could use a little more attention to preparation and consistency.

The server went back and forth several times serving other tables, never checking in to see if we needed drink refills (we had finished the waters and a Diet Pepsi within the first 10 minutes of sitting). When we finally caught the server's attention and explained the problem, it took another 10 minutes for the salmon to come out, with the explanation that it had been misplaced during a grease fire they had in the kitchen (??). There was no offer of compensation, and it took an additional 10 minutes and requests made of another server to get the drinks refilled. I don't have much else to say. The food was ok, but not good enough to justify coming back.

It was such a beautiful night, my parents and I came and we each got our own pizza. Pizza came out in maybe 15 minutes, we sat and waited and just chilled. It was a beautiful night. I am so appreciative that Windy Brow has a vegan cheese option, so I could be included! I got the Margherita pizza and subbed vegan cheese. The crust and dough were incredible - so fluffy, perfectly crispy, amazing thick crust. The vegan cheese was also great, and the sauce too. Just a perfect pizza. My dad got a regular Margherita and loved it, and my mom got the fungi pizza with mushrooms and was raving about it. My boyfriend got the pig and fig and (of course) loved it as well. We all raved to each other about how amazing everything was. For a farm to do something like this when they don't need to, shows that they love what they do! You can really feel the love in the pizza. We then got ice cream after since the ice cream stand was still open. I got the vegan dark chocolate sea salt (literally incredible, perfect consistency, I love hard ice cream so this was amazing), my boyfriend got Madagascar vanilla and said it was a perfect classic vanilla, my dad said the cherry vanilla was the best he's ever had, and my mom who doesn't love ice cream got the lemon blueberry butter cake and was raving about it. Phenomenal job!!!!! So appreciative to live near a spot like this. Blessings!

My husband thought it tasted watered down and while I didn't dislike the sweet corn and honey, I wouldn't need to try it again. They do have really cool flavors, and maybe it was my own thing, but I didn't really want to ask to try too many of them as the lines are long here. I tried the taylor ham and french toast one and while interesting... wasn't for me lol The girl taking the ice cream orders was fine. One thing I will say is my little guy is an ice cream loving toddler (as they tend to be) and he had one bite of the ice creams and passed. We were both pretty shocked. Even after several tries, he was not interested... The bakery/store was cute, but not much left. Prices were also a bit steep - $6 for a tony croissant. Perhaps earlier in the morning when they might've been fresher, I would've considered it more, but it looked like it had been sitting. The girl at the register was very nice though. We had originally wanted to come to try the pizza, but when we arrived around 5pm on a Sunday, it was an hour and a half wait even if we wanted the pizza to go. The guy over there was really nice and apologetic even though he didn't need to be. Hopefully we can try it at some point if we're ever nearby again. additional note - there are only 2 port-a-pottys for restroom needs.

They are multiple display cases, fully stocked with a variety of cakes, cookies, donuts, specialty pastries, and more. They have a couple of cake displays, for the full-size, mini-size, and the slices as well. They also do specialty cakes and special order catering too. Their Deli has plenty of side dishes to choose from...especially great if you are going somewhere and you don't want to make anything...let the folks at Giancarlos save the day. To my surprise, they also make pizza pies and to include sell by the slice too !! Ordered two breakfast sandwiches (1x HEC & 1x BEC), both were filling and delicious. The French bread was fresh and soft. We bought the small red velvet cake today, but look forward to returning and try the lemon cake.
