Although Dunkin' Donuts is now a national chain, its roots are decidedly in New England. Specifically Massachusetts. The first DD is still open and is very close to where I now live. There is a newer DD on the scene in Hingham which seems to be doing a brisk business especially given how close it is to the Hingham Ferry Terminal as well as the condos and apartments that have grown like mushrooms in that neighborhood. While I very rarely buy coffee to go but when I do buy a cup I prefer Dunkin' Donuts to Starbucks any day of the week. I was in this newest franchise recently to pick up some gift certificates for some friends who are die-hard DD fans. This place was clean and orderly and although I could be incorrect it seems to be run by a family. I was greeted by a friendly man (the owner?) who helped me with buying the 3 gift cards. I also bought one jelly doughnut (my preferred spelling of this word) to share with my husband who was waiting in the car. The doughnut was clearly quite fresh and was really delicious. My friends appreciated the gift cards. DD has the usual array of coffees, teas, doughnuts and other not particularly healthy food options but as a treat, they can't be beat. i wish this location well although I am sometimes dismayed at the sheer proliferation of these chains at the expense of local one-of-a-kind coffee shops. But people want what they want I guess. read more

Pamela new manager today made a scene mocked me by saying " if we charged you a million dollars you would have paid it huh ...." " we ripped you off 2.00 on a bacon egg and cheese by not charging you for the meal deal and your not getting it back you should deal with it at the register !" top of her lungs no less than 5 people standing 2 young women I knew who were appalled anyone never mind an employee and a new manager would mouth off like this to anyone when her employee rang it in wrong. So here is the answer: I told him as I do nearly everyday , except he is not usually on the register and know I know why he usually cooks and on a " well done bacon" and he is told personally by those who are excellent at the register and for almost a year now has got the order gets it wrong it comes out raw still; have to wonder if it is intentional at this point. Rude, bold and smart mouth young punk you cant deal with a wrong order until you identify as it is handed to you it is wrong. I addressed it to Pamela and Pamela said " pay attention ! maybe its not yours! " as if I was a dumb blonde, with my service dog. she grabbed it back asked for the number on my coffee ( which a lovely kind and totally service oriented young woman gets me daily before it is even rung in because im so kind to everyone and know the usual staff very well and put up with mistakes its only being human. Pamela told me " take it you didn't address it at the register" I said I told you I dont need my two dollars back I just would like the hash browns I like them please." She grabbed the bag out of my hands on the top of her lungs proceeded to berate me and said " oh you will get your hash browns but im not giving you back your money" told her dont care about 2.00 she just was deliberately discriminatory as if because I had a service dog I was retarded and she could berate, harass and treat me like absolutely nothing and be degrading and with hate speech rally the crowd in the dunking donuts who had absolutely no idea I did as every day for a year ask for the croissant meal deal, bacon well done med hot coffee 3 blueberry, 2 cream , 2 sugar. I then said tell her to forget it I dont trust her with my food im sick to my stomach this is so upsetting. She flew around the corner and said " here you go you got it your way now get out of here !" So everyone would what think I was bother her ? no one bought it. Then she yelled after the one who got the register order wrong., not the first time but I have never been rude, he said you come in here and do this everyday LIE. and she was yelling it in front of all the employees all but that gentleman and the one who made my coffee who was looking down now terrified of her manager to say a word. that is harassment, that is disability discrimination, and creating hate speech and proceeding to rally by yelling and mocking and demeaning against the law. I live across the street, I do not drive, so daily going to Weymouth is not possible. One woman said " oh my god young people are so rude it is unbelievable im so sorry maybe you can go down the street. " Maybe I can sue them as well and teach them to not hire not only hire help that cannot get a daily repeat order correct, but those who feel entitled in my home town of 60 years, in public yell scream berate shout out false facts to drive you out purposely and it was done with malicious intention 100% read more

Went to use the restroom and as I was about to walk out I heard a loud bang and it literally made me jump out of my skin. When I walked out it was a little bathroom bucket. The lady who was working at/about 5pm is RUDE and MISSABLE. She literally was right behind me as I'm walking out the door. I honestly thought she was going to attack me. I'm a store manager for Dunkin in Stoughton and if my staff don't even act like that. I will never go back to that Dunkin. Rude and disgusting. read more

This review is for the brown sugar cold brew with cream and sugar ... new favorite beverage. I can't keep from stopping in a Dunkin and picking one of these up. The trick is you have to drink it "without" a straw because then you get the cinnamon-y foam in each sip. Try it it's good!!!! read more

Been going here for a couple of weeks now and also been going to the ones around like the Quincy kiosk and the one on southern artery, at this SPECIFIC location... There's always this older woman Marta who does absolutely nothing.. the other day two people were making my coffees and she just didn't make my food. I waited for 10+ minutes for hashbrowns all because she didn't want to do my job and said "Oh sorry I didn't see the food ticket" The place is a mess !!!! And this older woman who I've seen constantly her name is Paula and is constantly rude to customers and her fellow coworkers, disgusting How in the world is this woman a manager??? Who owns these sh***y a** stores, terrible . Only good thing about this Dunkin is the worker Marko who is a cery kind young gentleman never fails to make my sandwich. read more

Literally the worst Dunkin Donuts I have ever been to! The service consistently is terrible. They take forever to do anything. Last time they bc barged me three times for my order and then got annoyed when I asked for a refund as if I had rung the order myself. Today I order a latte and I'm standing there waiting for 10 minutes watching the workers make other coffees for people who had come in after me. When I finally asked if my coffee would be ready soon they turned and said the latte machine was broken, why wouldn't you have told me that WHEN I ORDERED! If this was Starbucks they would have offered me a free coffee but they again made me feel like I had done something wrong!! I would go to any other Dunkin's over this one!!! This is a very new dunks in Hingham. Yet the worst one I've ever been to. I'll never go here again. The girl working the front counter had a mask & gloves on. She kept adjusting her mask with her gloves, then prepping orders. She then sneezed into her gloves and DIDN'T change them. I threw my whole order in the trash and decided I'll never return. Amazing. Why try to sell breakfast sandwiches at all, ever! There is no consistency too the product regardless of where it is served. From idiots who don't get the order right to food so over cooked it melts in your hand before it gets close to your mouth. The company needs to just sell coffee and their mass produced donuts period. Horrible service. Drive thru girl was one of the rudest one I've ever encountered. She mumbled everything she said then talked insults under her breath and questioned my order. She was so impatient with no other customers to help I didn't want to waste my money on an order she would most likely mess up anyway so I just drove off and will never go back.
