I frequent the area and usually end up at Doorknock Diner across the street, but having driven past Pour several times, and per the recommendation by a friend, I decided to stop in. The menu includes a simple array of coffee (hot and cold), an array of bagels with a variety of cream cheese options (I'm told the bacon scallion is excellent), and some breakfast sandwich options. I decided to go breakfast burrito as that's usually my go to breakfast item when it's available, and an iced coffee. The iced coffee tasted great, but the burrito, which I immediately regrettably noticed after I ordered is made with microwaved eggs, was only ok, not the best. I'll definitely be back to get an iced coffee next time in the area, but will skip the breakfast sandwiches and go for the bagels. For anyone desiring a cooked breakfast/ breakfast sandwiches, I recommend going across the street to Doorknock, but for bagels and coffee this place is pretty solid. *Cash only* read more

This review is for the Cohasset location ...... Food quality and menu is awesome ... my ONE complaint and reason for score is the Drive Thru Service .... its not the employees fault its the ridiculous process or should I say lack there of. No advance ordering and looks like no POS System ... its the reason I do not go there. I can't wait 10 minutes to get a coffee and donut. I knew traveling to Mass today their would be a reason and it wasn't just because I had to work in the area. It was because I would stumble upon this cute little bagel & coffee house. It's the original location and the first of the many "pour coffee & bagel co's" so they are cash only as he wanted to stay true to when he began. With that said I ordered a breakfast sandwich on a French toast, because hey why not. Wow what a delicious sandwich. To my surprise only 16 reviews and no photos so I knew I had to order more and really pump out an honest opinion of this place. Well let me tell you I wasn't disappointed. The staff is amazing, the place is cute, the bagels amazing and the donuts. Oh my I got 3 to sample and give my opinion and somehow they all disappeared into my belly. But wait it gets better. How you ask? The coffee, I ordered the cold brew and a hazelnut coffee. No artificial flavor straight natural been flavor and wow you can taste each note from the bean. It's no wonder this place has more locations now. I'm so excited to know that if I ever come back or have friends that travel here can now visit a bagel and coffee house. read more

This was my second visit and I'll probably go again. The coffee is good, and the bagel sandwiches are freshly made while you wait. The bagel had a good texture, but more salt would have been better. The food is good, but pricey, more than other places. A bagel is $2.49 and a donut is $2.99. It's Norwell, not Boston. The service is very nice, accommodating, and fast. There are two other locations. Don't park in front. You can't see oncoming traffic when you back out. Park to the side of the building. It's safer. read more

I'm a sucker for bagel places. My bagel loving partner and I were en route to the Cape via back roads and only noticed Pour as the car in front of us was attempting to back into an angled space. We're more reasonable so we pulled into the next space and let traffic get on its way. They had a huge selection of doughnuts and a good selection of bagels. We were there mid-morning and some of the bagels had sold out. There wasn't much of a line and the inside is set up for social distancing. The woman who waited on us was so nice. Seemed genuinely friendly and happily answered our cold brew questions. We went with the coffee of the day (Almond Joy) which was just a brew and no syrup yet tasted exactly like an Almond Joy so I was very impressed! For food, we went with the veggie bagel with egg and cheese and cream cheese. Thumbs up to them doing the cream cheese on each side. So many places don't do that and I was happy they did it. The egg was okay but the cheddar cheese didn't seem melted enough and came right off the bagel. Otherwise, it tasted fantastic. Good prices, not much of a wait and the only gripe was the cheese and parking (it was hard getting out). I'd stop there again. read more

English muffin breakfast sandwiches are sizeable and served piping hot. Flavored coffees gonna get you good with no added sugars on combos like banana hazelnut. They tend to run out of donuts early, which is a bummer because they're pushing Donut King goodness. I'd say I lean towards the Hanover location because it's not as claustrophobic and they feel like they're a bit more focused than the Norwell outpost. That, and parking is less stressful. read more

I really want to give this cute local business a great review, and realistically it would be so easy.....great fresh food selection, great service with local students (for the most part) working there. The coffee is decent. BUT there is NEVER any food available! Why not make/order more? The food is always sold out at least a couple hours before the close time. The muffins here are delicious and at times you can see trays all ready but they are 'special order' so if you want a muffin you need to be there at the crack of dawn! Make more! The customer service should improve for the business to be better overall. The donuts taste amazing when they are fully stocked (not often) and the bagels are great!! The older women need to have a better attitude for customers to come back though, and maybe more sanitary behaviors... read more

Good bagels,breakfast sandwiches , and donuts, and mediocre coffee. The people working at the counter don't listen carefully when you order something that has to be made (as opposed to just donuts or muffins) and don't fully communicate with the person making the food, so it's pretty much a surprise each time as to what makes it into the bag. Ordered a burrito with egg and cheese only? It might or might not also have tomatos and peppers on it. Ordered very itttle butter on your bagel? Might happen, or it might be swimming in butter when you unwrap it. But the food's good, so if you're just looking for a tasty breakfast and aren't particular about what it includes, stop in to Pour. read more

had the ice coffee and breakfast bowl. coffee was mediocre and the breakfast bowl was microwaved egg, with microwaved sweet potato, microwaved green peppers and microwaved onion. topped with tomato, arugula, avocado and an insane amount of scallion, with an aoli. it was comparable to a frozen Jimmy Dean breakfast that was microwaved, and then dressed up to be something more than it wasn't. my wife had a bagel which she said was fine. otherwise, not very good. read more

Donuts are wonderful! Nice to have a "real" donut. Coffee is hit or miss. It's been good at the Norwell location, but the business in Cohasset usually not on the mark in my estimation. A bit weak. Haven't tried the bagels but they look good. Staff is friendly enough and that's a plus! read more

New to Norwell, excited to find somewhere that's not MaryLou's or Starbucks. Hear there's a new coffee place in the village, turns out it's a bagel place that doesn't even bake on site and brings everything in, and the coffee is, well, not coffee. What obvious is that there's a serious, like unbelievable, lack of good restaurants in the Scituate/Hingham/Norwell area. It's shocking. Same with coffee. I walk in with my wife last week, place looks good, outside and in, but within seconds we realize they're serving coffee in catering flasks. There's nothing worse you can do to fresh coffee than put it in a plastic lined catering flask. I literally thought it was a joke. I"m sure this place will get customers who couldn't care less and love the food so who cares right? Well, you know, I guess I kinda do. What Norwell needs is a place that makes great espresso, great pour overs, great coffee, maybe even somewhere that roasts their own beans. Maybe even bakes their goods on site. When I see somewhere that's got a half decent design going, and looks inviting, I'm gonna go inside, but when I see an approach to coffee that's just less than half assed, well, I'm done. Yeah there's the lion's share of Range Rovers in Norwell, and yeah there's enough construction workers and soccer mom's that'll keep things going, but you're just wasting your time if the outside is faux hipster, faux Cape Cool, and the inside is breakfast bagels and shit coffee. What's the point? No website, a horrific attempt at social media, crappy photos, like, what an opportunity wasted. Is it really that hard? Thought the coffee was good (decent selection of flavors). Had a breakfast sandwich (egg, cheddar, bacon) on an everything bagel - bagel was REALLY good; right amount of soft vs chew, whatever "everything" that was sprinkled on top was TAF (sea salt, roasted garlic bits I believe, poppy & sesame seeds, etc). Bagels were so good I got some for breakfast the next day. Alsoa bit of my daughter's pumpkin muffin - super moist, yummy. Kudos to the girl working the counter - didn't bat an eye at my and my friend's sons running around the (small) joint like maniacs; also let my son (4 years old) use the bathroom (which is always appreciated with small kids in tow). Came here on a whim, I was greeted immediately by two baristas, and I got the recommended mix of coconut and banana iced coffee with almond milk, which hit the spot! Also since I arrived close to 11 there wasn't a lot of donuts left but I got a chocolate glazed and coconut flake (for the kids and myself) and they were both delicious! my kids devoured them. I love non frilly, small town coffee shops. I'll certainly be back! read more

We've been to the Norwell location a handful of times and always have a great experience. Yes, they serve coffee, but let's be real - people come for the great bagels and donuts. I could care less where those are baked, what's important is that they're fresh and tasty. I think it's a great business model actually - rather than offering terrible store made baked goods and bagels (like the pink place), they offer REALLY good stuff made locally by experts. The best part is how friendly everyone is - it really makes a difference. It's a well run small local business. Comparing it to DDs or Marylou's is a waste of time. read more

Their energy is contagious, and I frequently leave there much happier than I am when I entered (the sugar and caffeine also help). The first time I came here I ordered I bunch of donuts and muffins for the kids + a large coffee before I realized it was cash only. The owner said don't worry about it pay me next time. That would have never happened in other places we've lived! We're now regulars and love the simplicity and small town charm (and donuts). This is the anti-Starbucks.
