I just left the store again last week. I was met with attitude from the people at the window today I just ordered three bagels and a breakfast wrap and two drinks. I only got two and I got attitude from the person at the window who threw a computer device in front of me to pay my bill it wouldn't take my payment unless I answered the question. This location can be very busy at times! We went on a Saturday afternoon and didn't have trouble pulling in but sometimes the drive thru line is backed into the street. Went through the drive thru and got asked "what?" Several times throughout my order and I was basically screaming by the end to make sure my order was heard, received my donuts and they were all hard and stale. Let me take a sip of my coffee first, because boy do I have a review for you about the Dunkin Donuts in Irwin, Pennsylvania. First off, let's talk about the line. During the pandemic, the line at this Dunkin Donuts made its way onto Route 30. I swear, I thought I was in a parade. There were so many cars lined up that I started throwing candy out of my window. I don't know if it was a socially-distanced line or just a bunch of people who really love their coffee, but it was intense. Now, I have a bone to pick with this Dunkin Donuts. They don't give military discounts. I mean, come on, Dunkin Donuts, show some love for the troops. Oh wait, I forgot, this location is privately owned. So, I guess it's not personal, it's just business. But honestly, at this point, Dunkin Donuts isn't even a donut place anymore. They changed their name to Dunkin, as if dropping the "Donuts" made it less obvious that they sell more than just donuts. I like their Coconut Refreshers and that's about as far as it goes. The rest is simply average, and opening a drive thru dedicated to coffee has already been done and it's done much better for relatively the same price. read more

Decided to go here before work this morning. I ordered loaded hashbrowns and received the cheese cold on them. How in the hell is that how they are supposed to come. That's absolutely foul and every other time i have ordered them the cheese came warm. Not to mention...i came here about a week ago as well, ordered a decaf iced coffee and pulled up to the window and they gave me a regular iced coffee. I told them it wasn't what i ordered and they had some nasty ass attitude. This is unacceptable considering that there is supposed to be high quality customer service. This was my go-to Dunkin, I'd stop here almost every day on my way to work. I always order pretty much the same thing. Just in the last month on three different occasions, I have had the most disgusting burnt bitter lukewarm coffee handed to me. Like they just gave me the bottom of the barrel coffee that tasted like it had been sitting on the pot for hours on end! So, the last time it happened, I went in because I didn't pay to drink this garbage. I asked for a fresh cup of coffee because this was just terrible. Trying to give this Dunkin the benefit of the doubt, considering when I rolled through the drive thru it was around 11:00 am on a Saturday. I ordered 2 small iced coffees, a turkey sausage egg and cheese on a plain bagel, and a sausage and cheese on a plain bagel. I paid at the window, received my coffees, and the young kid working asked me to pull into a spot to bring out our food. I pulled into a spot next to a woman who was also waiting for food. The young kid came back out with a bag that wasn't mine or the woman next to me. He came out again with 2 more bags, which they weren't my order either. Finally he came out the third time with our order. It was the right bag and the correct order. However, instead of the plain bagels I requested, they were both croissants. Friendly staff, but one of the iced coffees we ordered had what lookea PEANUT in the bottom. Truly kind staff; horrendous policy. My family and I stopped at this location during a long road trip. We dropped over $40 on coffee and breakfast food. When I asked for two cups of water, they charged me .50 cents per cup. Ridiculous! I kindly expressed my surprise at this request and they stated it was policy. Toward the end of our meal, I went back up (with .50 cents) and asked for a third cup of water. They charged me .35 cents this time! Super annoyed by the change in price (depending on the staff member) and the charge for tap water. I might have been more sympathetic to this policy if I hadn't spent a significant amount of money at the establishment. I stop by this dd all the time since it's on my way in and out of work. The service has been quick and of course i am a huge fan of their coffee. I think it's great priced and delicious. They had a sale on their bagged coffee so I picked some up as well. One time, my coffee order was messed up and the lady working the register just made me another one quick with no hassle. This is the worst DD around. It used to be great, but since new owner several years ago, it has really gone down hill. They run out of donuts often. The workers are not happy and friendly like they used to be. Today I ordered a cold brew, which according to their website and promo emails, is $2 between 2-6pm during the month of April. I was charged full price. When speaking to the manager, I was told they (this location) decided to stop it early...they were selling too many. It is still on the website as a promo! I was told there's nothing they can do. They watched me drive away headed to Starbucks. Get it together Irwin DD...people are trying to send their money at your location. read more

The store itself shows its age and lacks a drive-thru, but it is clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Make sure you park in the DD lot. This Dunkin is going downhill with their new workers. The orders are always always always wrong anymore and their new workers are IGNORANT. I decided park at the marathon next door and went into Dunkin' instead of waiting in the obnoxiously long line that spilled over onto route 30. I got a strawberry refresher with almond milk, paid for it, and went to the window to wait for it. (For some reason the total was a little below $5 for a drink that is marketed at $3) Then they tell me they cannot make it with almond milk because it's not on the menu. I was obviously confused because I've been getting it with almond milk due to allergies. They made it with coconut milk instead and tried handing it to me as well as letting me know that they made it coconut milk. I told them no and that's not what I paid for and I either want my money back or a drink that costs a similar amount. I said I want a large iced coffee. They told me to hold on and they'd make it for me. I kid you not, 15 min later I'm still waiting on it along with some mini bagels. Eventually, I had to say something and when I did, they finally made the drink and gave me my food. I let it go because it's usually the best Dunkin' around, but then I went again today. I ordered the same drink in the drive thru thinking they were just having an off day. I pay for it and they hand me some kind of strawberry dragonfruit drink that I did not notice until I drove away:( With all this being said, I will just have to go to Starbucks next time. read more

I stopped in for a late breakfast with my two kids. The service today was really great, much better than my last experience a couple months ago. There was a guy in a black shirt, I'm assuming he was a manager. He offered the kids munchkins while we were ordering, which wasn't necessary but made them smile. The coffee is good, don't get me wrong. When its right. I'll give you one mess up. 2 maybe. But when I'm a regular here and it suddenly becomes a constant problem...I won't be back. I used the drive thru on my way to work to get for myself and sometimes coworkers. And I get sometimes the speaker can sound bad. Especially with RT 30 traffic right there. The order was always correct on my receipt but what was handed to me was either the opposite of what I wanted (hot not cold or vice versa) or something totally different. And I'd point this out and yet no one ever offered to make a new drink! Somehow it became my fault! How is it my fault when the receipt in my hand with the current time and date on it is right but what's handed to me is wrong? I'll stick with Starbucks or Sheetz where at least if a mistake is made they apologize and fix it. read more

Major let down! Stopped by this morning for an early coffee to start our road trip. Despite the DT sign saying it opened at 4:30am, no one responded. As we drove around and up to the window, 2 employees glanced our way and put their head down and ignored us. My husband walked up to the front door and the 2 proceeded to again ignore his presence. Online hours have the store open 24hrs and a sign at the DT stated it opened at 4:30am. Must say I'm not a fan of their watered down coffee that doesn't even taste like coffee, it taste more like brown cake mix and the muffins are more like cement ready to collapse at the mere threat of taking a bite. read more
