Cute coffee shop with great flavors and faith in downtown Irwin!…read more Nestled right in Irwin, White Tree Cafe & Coffeehouse has a small town vibe with big bold options! During the day, they had ample street parking and the cute patio is such a wonderful touch to enjoy a coffee on a beautiful day. We came for a light lunch and midday pick-me-up, so we chose the Cookie Butter Cold Brew, Iced Oatmilk Vanilla Latte, Grilled Chicken Bacon Ranch Panini, and a Croissant. The drinks were delicious! The Cookie Butter Cold Brew was a monthly signature drink, but I would get it as often as I can! The crumbles of cookie with the pillowy cold foam was such a refreshing coffee. The latte was perfection too. They definitely make great coffee drinks. The panini was freshly made with sous vide chicken, fresh bacon, and ample ranch dressing to dip in!! The chips were Metro Deli Kettle Chips- which is a new brand for me, but very well resembled a fresh homemade chip. The croissant was so good that we went back up to check out their other baked good options. We grabbed a Breakfast Cookie. It was a peanut butter cookie with oats and chocolate chips. The size was big enough to split and warmed up for a second... the cookie is ooey gooey!! The decor is so unique with a pin map to show where the coffee is sourced to a mini book shop to read while sitting or buy to take home. They are clearly a faith based organization with tons of great kids books based on faith and a selection of Bibles too. They also have a stock of board games ready for any patron to bust out enjoy even more fun!! The staff is so sweet. They deliver your food orders to your table and were great to talk to for recommendations and about the store!

The older blonde lady has got customer service in her blood, always upbeat, always ensuring I like my drink before I walk away, and always adds a cute little touch to make it pretty. This is a great place for coffee, specialty drinks, breakfast or lunch…read more I have been here numerous times and always had a good (and tasty) experience. When you walk in, it has a warm, inviting vibe. There are a variety of tables and seating options (including some couch and comfy chair type seating). You order by going up to the counter, and they either call your order or will bring it to your table when it is done if you are eating it there. One down side is that there is a fairly large menu and it isn't always easy to find/see all of the options when you are waiting to order. My daughter saw someone got a bubble tea but at the time we were looking, that menu wasn't easy to spot so we didn't even know it was something they offered! All of their food items are made to order (well, I suppose except for the soup which is home made and just dished out to order). They even have soup flights on certain days! I need to go back and try that because every soup I've ever had here has been delicious. They have the standard coffee menu but also always have some unique and quirky seasonal options. They also have smoothies, bubble teas and some other unique creations. They have tasty breakfast and lunch sandwiches, breakfast scrambles, mac and cheese and a variety of sandwiches. You can easily customize your meals and the staff is great about providing recommendations. It can take awhile to get your food/drinks, but that is because everything is made to order. A fun and tasty place for a bite to eat or a sweet treat!

Plus, I couldn't believe all the flavors you can choose from. The owners are so nice and will bend over backwards to help you in making choices. I have my EVOO and vinegars shipped all the way to the San Diego area even though we have some olive oil companies local. That's how much I love their products! Plus they have their oil imported from Italy. All my friends and family love this stuff and ask for their information. Quick tip - get the Blood Orange EVOO and the Vanilla Fig Balsamic Vinegar and mix together for the most amazing bread dipper you've ever had!!

What I like…read moreabout this place is it's on my way to work and it's nice if you need to grab something quick. It's changed hands a few times in the past couple of years, but the store itself has been consistent. The staff are generally friendly and I've never had an issue. I'd really love to give the Korner Store 5 stars because I just love how cute and close it is, but I can't for the following reasons...First of all, the parking is bad. There are only 4 - 5 spaces out front, which you cannot back into, since you are coming right off of the road and it's hard to see up the hill. Simply not safe. Since it shares the spaces with the saloon next door, there are times there isn't a spot and you have to either pull over on the side of the road or in front of the apartments below it. Also, they only accept cash, which isn't a big deal for me because I try to pay for cash as much as I can. They do have an ATM though. Also, no hot beverages so don't go in for a coffee. Again, not a problem for me because I don't drink coffee. This is more of a small store for regulars to pick up smokes and play the lottery. They also carry water, pop, and other drinks, snacks, and some random household items like toilet paper. Another plus is everything is pretty cheap, especially when compared to other convenient stores. Cans of pop are $.50 and most snacks are $.25 - $1.00. Not too shabby if you are on your lunch break and need something quick.
