Slow service. Guy at counter flirted with me and gave me two free donuts. Both drinks were not made correctly.

I want everyone in the Philadelphia metropolitan area to descend on this place like suburban moms…read moregoing to the strip mall on Black Friday morning. I want whoever is reading this to drop your phone right now, leave your house in whatever you're wearing, and hit the road. Because I want this place to become so popular that it never closes down. If you've never had a mochi ring donut, it's deep fried like a regular yeast donut, but made with tapioca/rice flour, which gives them a more springy consistency and slightly different flavor. (That description doesn't feel quite right... you just have to try them to understand). The icings are also better than average donut shops because they have things like yuzu, black sesame, and taro. They also have more traditional icings like strawberry or Nutella, but super-flavorful. To add icing to all of the icing you'll already have, they serve really great bubble tea. And corn dogs that are kind of hard to describe but you should eat them. And that's a full, balanced meal, folks.

I would definitely come back again…read more Convenient parking: Mochi Ring is located within this plaza in Abington. That means I don't have to look for street parking if I want to go here for a quick snack/dessert. Clean: My first impression of this place is...it's clean. With Covid still being around, the two employees that I saw do have their masks on. However, there are no tables if you want to enjoy and eat their mochi donut or try out their drinks inside the store. Mochi Donuts: They taste fresh to me. There are a number of flavors to choose from. And from time to time, they will have new flavors out. The day I was there they had Ube and Mango as their new flavors. Their normal selections I believe are Strawberry, Matcha, Oreo, Nutella, Coffee, Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Black Sesame, Coconut, etc. I've tried all except Matcha. Personal preference that I would recommend is heat the mochi donut for a few seconds before eating so the texture of the mochi would be soft and chewy. Drinks: I ordered their Honey Citron Lemon Green Tea and their King of Oolong Milk Tea. Both drinks are yummy and delicious to me. Definitely recommend to give the drinks a try.

I was out on a Saturday morning & in the mood for breakfast. Everywhere I stopped by had a long…read morewait list. I drove not IHOP & 1 other party was waiting to be seated. We were sat quickly in a both. This is not the same IHOP I used to take my children to when they were younger. Handed menu. Waitress was nice & funny. Some of the staff were arguing and using bad language. One of the male hostesses slipped & fell and started cussing loudly. The food was delivered and the vegan sausage was not good so I sent them back. The food was not warm in temperature. The French toast was good. Nice size portions. We were given plastic utensils to eat with. I asked for real utensils but never received them but I saw washed utensils on the table in the back that needed to be rolled. The waitress gave us the strawberry drink for our troubles since its was not a good experience. The waitress saved this place with her funny light hearted disposition.

There were quite a few people there, but it was by no means crowded. Our section was *freezing.* It was clear that the heat was just completely not working. I've never been in a restaurant that cold. I ordered two-egg breakfast. I asked for white toast. Shockingly, they were out of white toast. I don't know how that happens, but I ordered rye toast instead. I also wanted to get a side of two sausages. This was an option on the menu, but my waiter explained that his system would only accept side orders of four sausages. This was apparently an insurmountable problem. When my food arrived, I was disappointed. If there's one thing that I could always count on, it was that IHOP would give me a nice big pile of potatoes. Not this time. The serving was measly. I was also disappointed to see that there was no toast. That eventually came out at the same time as the check. It was, like the restaurant itself, freezing. The value was terrible: $55 before tip for three breakfasts. I will say that this IHOP has some very amusing signs. There are *tons* of signs reminding you to keep a 6-foot distance. Then there was a very funny sign that I saw when the kitchen door opened warning cooks about coming to work high. Finally there was a sign on the bathroom door that said that only one person was allowed in at a time "For your protection." There were like 4 stalls in the bathroom, so this was rather strange. I wonder what happened in that bathroom! Edited to add: My wife pointed out that the sign on the bathroom is likely another Covid holdover. That's less amusing than how I had interpreted it.

My order was extensive and a bit complicated (as usual), yet it was prepared flawlessly. The garnishes on the individual pieces meticulously applied. Fresh and inviting, arrayed with an artistic flair for color and balance. The "Mango Tango" roll, extraordinary. My seaweed salad, everything about it was perfection. The others in my group of four went the Cantonese route, tofu fried rice, a seafood noodle dish, which were judged superior. Throughout the evening, we all agreed it was a fantastic dinner we enjoyed. BYOB and relax. While not over-the-top in its décor, Queen Sushi's dining area is clean and orderly, serene even. Lit by large windows looking out upon the shaded, peaceful streets of Glenside. In fact, we found everything Queen Sushi has to offer so satisfying, it is a shame, really, to enter a complaint, but nonetheless. As I find more and more, no matter how lovely the establishment, the service is often wanting, and this impacted our experience. Had I not mentioned the appetizer I had ordered, it would have been overlooked, I am certain, because another appetizer we ordered was indeed completely forgotten. And I know that sushi preparation is a separate affair from the kitchen, which can lead to food arriving at different intervals - not unusual. But the considerable length of time the rest of my group was made to wait listening to me ooh and aah over my sushi was more than a little awkward. It so happens that I am a slow eater, so even though the hot entrees arrived late, we all finished neck-and-neck, but I should not have been given such a head start. Things happen, I understand. But when they do, it can dim the sheen of what was, without doubt, the best Asian fusion we've had in quite a while.

Nothing fancy, however, but it was clean and inviting. The waiter we had was friendly and attentive without hovering, and our food came out quicker than I expected. The dishes were flavorful, especially the General Tso's & Sesame chicken. Everything tasted better than every day Chinese when hungover, as well, the portions were generous. I will say some items could use just a little more seasoning, but overall it was satisfying and well-prepared. Definitely a solid spot when you're craving Chinese food. I'd happily come back after the next show I attend
