This is A Tale of Two Cities. This section of Leesburg has a dysfunctional Wendy's, McDonald's, DQ, and most notably, Popeyes. Thus now my expectations for anything in this area are very low. So I order a small iced, little ice, little milk, no sugar. I normally see eyes glaze over right in front of me at this point, but it did not faze the personable young lady at the counter. Still, I am expecting to get handed a beverage with a ton of ice and heaps of sugar, 15 minutes later. Amazingly, it came out almost instantly, and completely accurate. So my experience was delightful. Right next to me however several folks were less than delighted, waiting so long it is like they ordered Peking Duck. One Star is the lowest rating allowed. They don't allow 0 stars. Went in to get some munchkins. The posted price for 10 munchkins was $2.79. I ordered 20 and the girl told me it would be $6.18. My calculation with tax was $5.97. So I asked her how much she charged for the munchkins. She said the register rang them at $2.89. She called the manager over, and I explained the situation. He proceeded to change the sign to $2.89. He told me if I didn't like is to go somewhere else. What happened to customer service? I know it's only .21 but it's the principal. I DONT UNDERSTAND ALL THE HATE?!? My in-laws just moved out here to Leesburg so naturally this location is our home base for our Dunkin fix. I was nervous coming here cuz of all the negative reviews but nonetheless I gave this location a shot.... and EVERYTHING IS FINE HERE. The drive thru line was long BUT it moved real quick. The person who took my order made sure they got it right, and when I corrected an item they were polite. When I got to the window they had my doughnuts ready, and my wake up wraps (which were perfect) tasted awesome! And better yet they got my lattes right!!!! 5 stars because the exceeded all expectations; considering the reviews made me nervous. And before someone thinks I was paid/sponsored to say any of this: NO. I'm just a person who has worked in the service industry before and understand both the short coming and misunderstandings of customers and retail employees. HERE'S SOME TIPS To make your experience better: when you go through a drive thru, kindly ask them to repeat the order back to you if they haven't already. // If you have a very specific order, make sure they got it // Be kind and speak clearly so nothing gets misunderstood. // When they give you your food, take a second and look through your bag to make sure they don't forget something. // If there's a long line in the drive thru; re-think your order as some items take longer to make. My latest experience at the Leesburg location (641 N. 14th St.) dictate that I write about my visit and unfortunately this experience isn't unique because the service at this particular store has deteriorated since about April/May 2019 or the beginnings of COVID-19. I understand the shortage of personal but after placing a mobile order at 7:42 am and arriving at the store at 7:54, I assume that my order would be ready, especially considering that there was one car in the drive-thru and no one on the inside. After standing there for five minutes and witnessing at least five staff standing around doing very little except talking and joking around, I went to the counter to perhaps get noticed, that's when I noticed my mobile ticket still on the machine along with another ticket. Someone finally asked if I had been helped, and I told her apparently not since my mobile order was still on the machine. She then asked someone else to prepare my order, at which time I thought I would have my order shortly but again I was wrong. Another customer came to the mobile pickup area only to find that his order was available either. After a few minutes he asked about his order and they begin to prepare HIS order and about then the lady quietly asked the other employee about "the guy in the blue shirt", he replied that he didn't know anything about it. The female employee then asked me what was I waiting for and at this point I had enough and told them that this is garbage and left without my order of course and then drove to Wawa. I wish that I could say this was a one time experience but unfortunately I've had to walk out of this establishment numerous times. So, I've been staying away from DD ever since they discontinued the dark roast . This morning gave me one more reason to stay with that. A friend had stopped to grab coffee and a few donuts, specifically chocolate cream filled, as they are my favorite. My friend surprised me with the donuts at my place of employment and I was super excited because honestly I've missed them! However, my excitement was very short lived. In the bag we're two powder donuts, both with that yummy chocolate poking out of the side, or so I thought. I immediately pulled one in half and anticipated the middle would be full of yum; no. It's lie they barely poked the donut. There couldn't have been more than a half teaspoon of chocolate filling . I ate it regardless, thinking I'll save the best for last. Major disappointment. Same thing, only it looked like they just smeared some chocolate filling on the outside.. NO chocolate filling at all. Just powdered empty donuts. Come on DD! One star is generous for how pathetic this Dunkin Donuts location is. The staff is beyond incompetent, considering that they don't even know Dunkin Donuts policy on allergens. My sister and I pulled up to the drive thru and ordered two almond milk lattes. The woman working the window informed is she couldn't make us any drinks with almond milk because it's an allergen. Despite the fact that we've never had any issues with this exact order at any Dunkin Donuts locations. We ask to speak to the manager and the woman told us to wait. After about a minute or two, the same woman comes back on over the speaker and says rudely, "you need to come inside." And nothing else. We decided that this store and their staff are completely useless and maybe we should just go to a different coffee shop instead. After checking the Dunkin Donuts website, there is no policy stating that lattes cannot be made with almond milk, which makes this situation even better. The entire store more than likely needs training on good customer service. I don't think we would have been this upset if they weren't so rude. Honestly I'm reading these reviews appalled. I have so many good things to say about this dunkin. I've been here twice in the last week because I know I can trust that my food is going to be hot, seemingly fresh and delicious. Every employee I encountered was respectful and hardworking. I understand when things get busy and I am forgiving of that, but I guess some people aren't. I care more about my order and I'd rather someone take the time to get it perfect than give me something terrible. Even then I never wait more than 7-10 minutes. The inside is very clean and in general my experience there was amazing. You usually have low expectations going into a Dunkin anywhere but for Leesburg I was highly impressed. Idk why everyone left bad reviews but maybe that was 5-8 months ago and they changed a lot of things? idk. I just knew that when I left that Dunkin I had to write them a great review. read more

This store usually is slow, understaffed, and most of their staff seems to target one of their fellow employees. A Spanish young man, obviously not too keen on English, does his best every morning or whenever he's working, and he gets rushed around by the big black lady manager. He is made the laughing stock of the store. They are nasty to him, and when he's doing something around the store (stocking fridges, cleaning, etc.) the other employees will say "front counter!" When they themselves are not doing anything. It really makes me feel bad for the guy. The service is usually subpar if you're looking for a quick in-and-out in the mornings. Between 7:30-12:00 there is always a line wrapped around the parking lot and a line out the doors inside. They only have one employee to each station. The store manager (an older white lady) seems unenthusiastic and doesn't set a good example for her peers. The afternoon staff is a lot more laid back and seem to have better customer service skills, surprisingly. But when the second shift manager is there (the black lady from earlier), she is rude and will make everyone around her miserable. I have gotten the wrong drink a few times, but have not said anything due to lack of time. The way they train their staff seems to be very poor. Sandwiches are always slapped together haphazardly, sometimes drinks don't even have but three pieces of ice in them, hash browns come out either too hot or too cold, and the donut fries are usually crushed by the time they get to you, the customer. I am a loyal Dunkin' Donuts fanatic, so I will continue to return to this store in hopes that they will train their staff a little better, or at least make the quality of their food better. I ended up having to go back inside with my child to get another cold brew because they gave me tea instead of coffee. Ends up they fixed the problem by giving me another tea instead of coffee. I wish I could give this location a zero. I did a mobile order to where I was about 10 minutes away, giving them time to make one coffee and nothing else. When I ordered, I selected thru the app that I would like to be a walk-in pick up. When I arrived the door was locked with no explanation or sign on the door, just a locked door. So then I proceeded to go through the drive-through as nobody would answer to my knock, even though there were 7+ workers in the building. As I went through the drive-through, I asked, why is your door locked? I have a mobile order and I'm supposed to be picking it up by walking in, no explanation. They tell me pull all the way around and wait at the front door. What is the point of a mobile order? If I had to wait longer than the people that actually waited through the drive-through, ordered their purchase and then picked it up immediately. I work about a mile away from this Dunkin Location. My coworker has ordered from them three times that I have also tried to order. The first two times, everyone got their order but me, and I simply wanted a plain glazed donut. This time, I ordered a frozen drink and two donuts. My coworkers ordered two more frozen drinks and some breakfast foods, and a coffee drink. Doordash took TWO HOURS to bring it one mile. When it got here, it literally had two vanilla frozen drinks, the coffee, and was completely missing all of the food, and one of the frozen drinks. NOT ONLY THAT-half, HALF of the coffee drink was spilled in the bag! I have never one time gotten a donut, from Dunkin Donuts delivery apps. I don't know if Doordash is partly at fault or not, but we have never had this problem with them at ANY OTHER BUSINESS. I'm over Dunkin. I wanted something else, but was outvoted. Terrible, terrible terrible way to do business. My coworker is trying to get it fixed via Doordash now, and has been told that "delivery is no longer available". $30 of wasted food and TWO HOURS TO GET IT? I have NEVER seen anything like this with literally any other business or delivery service. Ridiculous! I'll go get donuts at Publix and drinks at Starbucks now. Edit-Doordash said this has to be "escalated". Dunkin won't answer the phone. Don't get delivery from Dunkin on Hwy 441 in Leesburg if you really want to eat. This restaurant is absolutely ridiculous!! I have never gone there and received the correct order without checking it first and having them correct their mistake. The worst thing at this restaurant is how they treat their customers, they definitely have no customer service ethics at all, they show no one respect. I stopped going there a while back to pick up deliveries for grubhub and doordash because they made me wait forever for the orders just to always forget something in the customers order and treat me with disrespect. I went there Tuesday morning April 13th to pick up some things for my sons, I went through the drive-thru as I was ordering she says "wait a minute" and leaves me sitting there a few minutes, not a problem, she comes back and says go on, well I needed to make a change on something I had already ordered and she literally screamed at me to tell her what donuts I wanted, seriously? If I wasn't picking up for someone else I would have left. The next morning april 14th 2021 I am driving my daughter to work and she asked mt to go thru the drive thru and she orders a large drink and 2 food items, they ask us to pull around the front and they will bring it out, they run out hand me a bag and say have a good day, I said wheres the drink? They say "oh its coming" there was also a missing food item in the bag, 5 minutes later I have to exit the car and walk inside to retrieve both items they were very nasty about the whole thing and the items were not even being worked on, they started them when I walked in causing my daughter to be late for work. Walking in this DD I got the impression there weren't any fresh donuts. The front cabinet was empty nothing in It they had very little verity to choose from no bagels at all. But the reason I'm giving them 5 stars is because of the staff well let me be exact the manager was super rude and if she was my last impression I would never return. It was because of the two lovely ladies that served me with a smile. Even though the man in front of me was really rude. Hello! A friend and I stopped at this location on Sunday 12/2. Since I am a Boston native and a DD fanatic, (natch) I must tell you that this location is the WORST I have ever encountered anywhere. 1) Drive-Up staff could not understand our order or our ???, 2) when we got to the window I had to ask ??? about a drink I wanted and the gal was not knowledgeable at all, so I did not order a drink - evidentally they have taken coffee coolatas OFF the menu (WHAT???) so I gave up on getting a drink, just the chicken bacon croissant, which when rec;d was SO HOT - it took almost 15 mins before I could begin to eat it - and also the bacon was burnt to a black crisp. This location should be shut down or some serious training given, we will NEVER go to this one again. It is a total disgrace to the Company.
