They do not sell alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own bottle, and the corkage fee is one of the lowest I have ever seen. La Bella Pearl is a true gem. From the moment you pull up, it feels as though you have stumbled upon the pearl inside an oyster, tucked away on the mountain and waiting to be discovered. Do not sleep on this place. Before we even got there as we were rolling down the interstate, R ordered his drink via a mobile order to pick up inside the store, and, at that time, I didn't want anything. However, when we got there, I changed my mind, and decided to stand in line. This Starbucks was very busy, since it was the day before Thanksgiving, and there were a lot of cars in the drive thru line. There was a short line ahead of us when we walked into the store, but the one employee at the register was very quick and efficient, and got the line moving very quickly. After I ordered, R picked up his drink that was ready at the pick up counter. He tasted it and it tasted exactly as how he ordered it. I only had to wait 5 minutes for my drink to be made before it, too, showed up at the pick up counter. Mine was made perfectly too. This Starbucks location allowed people to sit inside. However, with the number of people either waiting for their drinks or already enjoying their drinks, there wasn't enough seating for everyone, and we weren't going to stay inside anyway. For the amount of traffic this place probably gets, it was relatively clean. The men's restroom was clean too. I thought it was odd that there wasn't any food in the display near the register. Maybe because of Covid, or they already ran out of things, or they were planning on closing early because of the holiday the next day? The parking lot had more than enough spaces. Good thing we got here when we did. As we left to get back into the car, the drive thru line was now longer, and a few carloads of travelers were walking into the store.

The Kimball exit offers a good variety of quick eats, drinks and fill ups when cruising up and down 24. I usually stop off and hit a drive thru, and was hopeful to do that here, but sadly no drive thru...just counter service inside of a grocery store. As with most Starbucks located inside of stores, their offerings and inventory are a bit limited more times than not. For my pop in, I was after a cold brew with mocha and almond milk. Sadly, while they had the tap, they did not have cold brew. They did have a pitcher of iced coffee, so I settled for that. Again, no mocha, but luckily did have almond milk. To combat the lack of items, luckily I was in a grocery store so I hit the coffee aisle to pick up a mocha beverage to add to my iced coffee. I had to get it just right before getting back on the highway. Service was friendly, but they were a bit frantic, even with only two of us in line. Overall, good to know this location exists, but I doubt I'll drive so far down Main Street to stop by this Starbucks again.

The menu is a little hard to see imo but the barista was friendly and so I talked with her instead. I asked what her favorite was between two specialty lattes (her answer: the "Bestie," which is a cinnamon roll and white chocolate latte) so that's what I ordered. I got it in the smaller size and iced and she made it for me quickly. Unfortunately, I wound up really not liking this drink. It had a very strong artificial flavor, I suspect from the white chocolate syrup. I have been getting unlucky lately with the syrups places use for white chocolate - I need to remember to stay away from that until I establish it as a shop I really like. The coffee was also on the acrid side, and there wasn't enough ice in the drink. I'm sad to have come away less than pleased, but I certainly might've enjoyed a different drink more.
