"Extra cream cheese" that costs $
    Megan O.

Service isn't friendly, but it is quick. Bagels barely have any cream cheese, even when extra (for a charge) is asked for.

Painfully slow services. Inaccurate orders and unclean. Word of advice go across the street or down the street.

I unfortunately don't get down here nearly as often as I'd like, but I definitely help 'empty' their challah racks when I'm in the area! You grab a large brown paper bag, walk through the place and fill it with freshly made bagels and breads, and then pay what seems like some arbitrary low number they come up with while at checkout! When I was growing up, we'd go in here at 4-5 a.m. when returning from the city and purchase even 'fresher' bagels and breads if that's even imaginable! How you can still get this close to production and touch and take yourself is beyond me, but I don't care! I LOVE this place! Long live Rockland Bakery for never changing! FYI, Don't leave without ordering a few sweets from the bakery side! Again, you won't believe what you're paying for what you're getting!

Their sourdough bread is a standout, crispy golden crust on the outside with a soft, chewy center and just the right amount of tangy flavor. It tastes incredibly fresh and pairs perfectly with butter, soups, sandwiches, or even on its own. I always get one when I stop by here! The variety, freshness, and unique bakery experience keep me coming back. Rockland Bakery is a must-visit spot in Rockland County.

Be sure to try the bibinka which is a baked Filipino rice cake that's kind of like a muffin, and definitely get it with the salted egg if that's available. On the savory side, there are rice bowls with various proteins (adobo chicken, beef bulgogi, shrimp tempura, salmon teriyaki) and onigirazu which is a sushi sandwich. Too bad they're only open Fri-Sun, as I'd love to eat study sip & work on weekdays, and not all menu items are available all the time. At $35, it might not be a value for kids, but is definitely for the adults. Bottomless mimosas are included, as well as coffee, tea, juice, sodas. The mimosas kept getting refilled, but I do wish they had a better bubbly to orange juice ratio. There was too much juice for my tastes. The buffet was great. Good variety of breakfast foods, lunch items with pasta, chicken, beef. We were all particularly impressed with the cold station, which had peeled shrimp cocktails and a very tasty smoked salmon. All food items were fresh and of good quality. The parking lot has plenty of spots. We arrived right at 11 for our reservation and while seated promptly, they weren't quite setup yet. We waited at our table for about 10-12 minutes before they gave us the green light to eat. Making a brunch reservation online was impossible. The online app told me nothing was available. I called and the hostess told me they had availability. When we arrived, there were only 3 or 4 tables of customers, so something with the online reservation system is garbage. We almost didn't go, but I'm thankful I called. I'd certainly be back for brunch and maybe someday we will try dinner.
