Pumpkin iced coffee was fantastic this morning. The pumpkin donut I had was pretty good as well. Good sense of clove in the taste. Donuts make people happy.... for some, donuts are a special treat once in a while. It's fine if you don't want to make small talk but please don't abruptly answer "BUSY!" When asked "how are you today?" Please don't make your customers feel like they are bothering you or are a burden when they children are so excited to place their own order. You didn't even acknowledge my daughter as she tried her best to order her donut. You simply sighed with impatience and when the order was dropped at the pick up counter the girl all but ran away instead of asking if we needed anything else so I had to holler at her for ketchup. Just got back from this location and downloaded this app just to write this review. The guy working was extremely rude. I pulled up to the speaker box and he said "what can I get for you." In a monotone voice. Coming from working at a coffee shop myself, that's not how you greet a customer, but alright. I told him my order and said that I have my own mug to put my coffee in and he said "Ok. It'll be at the window." Drove to the window and handed him my card and my mug and he said "you can put the drink in yourself", handed me my drink, and slammed the window. This Dunkin is horrible! No matter how many times I try to give them another chance they always seem to make me regret going here. They are extremely slow. I usually do mobile ordering and it's never done by the time I get there. Today I decided to go inside to order and worst mistake ever. We went to Dunkin at 11:00 in the morning and they already did not have the desired donut flavor. They are hardly ever stocked with anything except like two flavors, and this was not just a one time experience. Place is filthy inside floors look like they have not been swept Or mopped in days. Manager was in eating area with all his billboards out on tables and was yelling at employees in the back. I was excited to see Dunkin' Donuts when it arrived in Queen Creek. There haven't been many in Arizona, but I have always enjoyed their coffee. Good to see they are expanding as now a second QC location opened last week. I visit New England every fall and Dunkin' Donuts are on nearly every corner there like Waffle Houses in Atlanta. Much like never ordering a waffle at the Waffle House, I rarely order a donut from Dunkin' Donuts. I typically go for the number 6 - coffee and plain bagel with plain cream cheese. How can you write a review on a plain bagel with plain cream cheese? I know, right? My review focuses mainly on the service and drive thru experience. Joel L. once warned I was sailing in dangerous waters when commenting on the apparent level of competence I observed in the Jack in the Box drive thru. The lack of proficiency is not limited to Jack. I dare say that most drive thru windows in the QC suffer from the safe level of service. It is partly the order taker, partly the crappy speaker system and frequently the customer. Just order a number. That's why its there. If you have a complicated order and sheets of multiple orders, park the car and go inside...The combination of the three creates negative experiences in most drive thru dining opportunities. Here is one that breaks the mold. I cannot estimate the number of times I have driven through Dunkin' Donuts on my morning commute and placed an order for the old standby number 6. Each time the line has been short, the voice on the other end pleasant and understandable. My order is never messed up like many places in town always seem to do. When I reach the window, the attendant is ready, hands me the coffee while I hand her my card. Only a few seconds later, a second person walks to the window, hands the bag with the toasted bagel and the cashier is back with my card. My typical time at the window is 30 seconds or less. They strive to provide timely service - not like Taco Bell who has the 60 second timer and simply ignores it when the allotted time is exceeded (maybe because it is always exceeded?) Dunkin' is a fast, efficient and accurate experience that other establishments should learn from. At $3.79 for a toasted bagel with cream cheese, and extra large cup of some of the best coffee in the business and a fast and efficient drive thru experience, how can you go wrong? read more

The last 2 times we went here, the staff had such a bad attitude, time before last it was a younger girl who was obviously outwardly frustrated with the fact that we were there, trying to order food & even after I tried to stay very positive, smiley & polite she continued to give us a really bad attitude. Last time I went, it was a man &who gave me quite a sour attitude, he too was seemingly very inconvenienced by our business. He was quite dramatic about my call ahead "box of joe" order because I didn't go through the drive thru like I said I would over the phone... but the drive thru line was long & there was no one in line inside - so I walked inside to get my call ahead box of joe, which was actually already prepared and ready for me, but he still was so overwhelmed about it. There were a LOT of staff working in the restaurant, it didn't look like they were understaffed or at maximum capacity for all orders, and I was incredibly patient as I went inside and stood just far enough from the counter to not put too much pressure on them that I needed to be helped right away. I was patient, kind & had a great attitude through both interactions but unfortunately this attitude makes us want to be sure not to take any future business here. read more

As a family we love to have a bite to eat post church. We come here at least twice a month. Today was the worst! I waited 32 minutes for two breakfast sandwiches, and three orders of hash browns. Yes, they were busy, I get that, what is hard to except is waiting by the food counter, and watching car, after car, get there order in less then three minutes (not just donuts and beverages). When I did ask after 25 minutes, the very nice gal asked the older gal in the kitchen if she had any idea how much longer it would be? She was yelled at, " they were doing the best they can!" Horrible experience yesterday. The kids cocoa was so hot we had to wait 45 min before they could drink it! My coffee wasn't even close to hot. I'm glad the steam from their cocoa burnt my hand as well as the cup itself so I wouldn't have just handed them to them to drink. I noticed only one food service worker was as wearing a mask. I simply asked if only vaccinated workers were not masking, she responded no. I said ok. Next thing I know the manager is handing me food telling me about Maricopa mandates not requiring food workers to wear masks. UMMMM... nobody asked!!! Maybe my coffee would have been made decent if the manager and the staff were eating right in front of the pay window. And then dropped my change and I couldn't open my door to get it and didn't offer to replace it??? My coffee tastes like straight milk and who I assume to be the manager was gossiping with the two girls making my drink while eating until she saw me watching her and then she slowly put her food down. I don't know why, but EVERY time I've come to this location (always a Saturday morning) the older woman taking my order makes me feel like I've done something wrong because I want to custom order my dozen doughnuts. You can hear the angst in her tone. I just laugh to myself and think - its doughnuts lady. No big deal... Life ain't that bad. Try working commercial HVAC out in this heat for 70 hours a week. All to often I walk in to food and drink smeared tables and debris all over the floor. When fresh, the donuts are great and I'm in love with the lattes. This place gets worse and worse every time I come here- but it's the only drive thru donut shop in Queen Creek. Donuts are always cold. Drive thru service is ridiculously slow- and even the drive through configuration makes no sense. You literally have to do a loop-de-loop to: avoid cars coming out of the drivethrough and then go out the same shopping center driveway to get back on the road. Are they taking advantage of their monopoly? Because as soon as someone else shows up with even a little better service, DD will disappear. So I have to say I have been to this place many many times and most times I have had a decent experience. Today was a disaster. I was waiting for 15 minutes in the drive for a iced latte. 15 minutes later, I was handed a iced coffee! I asked the girl, ummm isn't this a iced coffee? She goes I'm not sure lol I said I ordered a latte. 6 minutes later they remade my drink and omg was it nasty. Stale coffee that was bitter and not sweet!!! Not what your wanting to pay $4 for!! I stopped here on my way to work and they gave me the wrong order, and I have no clue how that was possible because I was the only car in the drive thru and there were no other customers inside. I called about it once I got to work and the gentleman was helpful and said they could remake it for me on my next visit. When I went in the manager who was helping me was rude because I accidentally told him that I had spoken with Adam when his name was Alex. He did not apologize for the fact that his crew messed up my order in the first place. He made me feel as if I was in the wrong for coming back to have my order made the right way. If I could give them no stars, I would. This place is unreal. We have been going to DD for years, never had a problem, and it was our favorite! We moved to QC 3 months ago, have been to this location about 6-8 times now. EVERY time something has been wrong how is that even possible?? They are alright if you only order one item. Anything more than that and you are doomed. It either will be wrong or won't even get put in the bag. I've called the manager twice, and am officially done going here.
