Stopped by to get a couple of Iced Matcha Lattes after a Trader Joe's run. Looked at the menu which had lots of coffee drinks & some teas & found it. Ended up ordering with the helpful male employee at the cash register who asked if we wanted to add Lavender syrup, cream foam, etc. but we wanted them simple with just Almond Milk & Oat Milk. He submitted the order & the barista in the back said he only had enough Matcha for only one drink so I let my friend order hers since she was the one craving a Matcha drink. When it came out the Medium-sized drink was so pale yellow looking & tasted only Almond Milk so the employee at the register said she could get a refund if she didn't want another drink. My friend got a refund as she was disappointed. He said he could just take the drink as they'd just throw it out. He offered iced Green Tea but that wasn't the same. We walked out surprised they didn't supply the store on a Friday & that it was only 2pm? They said they were waiting for a truck delivery to restock. I was recommended that their Pumpkin Spice Latte was good here (better than starbies) So I took my basic a$$ down to try it out lol And actually, yes, super enjoyable and yummy. A good balance of coffee and flavor, not sweet! (Over sweetness and syrup make me sad) I got a small, iced 2% milk, which was plenty. I was just confused because I thought it would come with whip cream from the description (it didn't) but that's okay. I also got the coffee cake and that was super yummy. Excellent flavor, soft, and moist. (Spent 10ish$) It was 9 on a Thursday Am, I was hoping to use the drive-through, but there were at least seven cars in there so I went inside. There was no one ahead of me and my order was ready in five minutes or less . (I did not do order ahead) The person taking my order was kind and approachable. Things looked clean. For starters, the people here were very polite and respectful towards customers. I ordered a shaken espresso, bacon Gouda and a blueberry scone. There wasn't much flavor nothing great about the coffee, I've had plain shaken espressos at other coffee shops and it tastes much better than this one. My bacon Gouda was cold in the middle still, but I was already driving, so I just ate it all. My blueberry scone tasted like it needed to be baked longer, I couldn't taste any blueberry flavor, it just tasted like batter. Not a great experience. I won't return to this location read more

This is such a wonderful alternative than what's on every corner lots popular spot. First time I tried Black Rock I was impressed. This visit, I had the Blended Caramel Chiller & my husband had the Mocha Chiller Both were great. There are many good selection of drinks to choose from. Absolutely love their fall selections! Wish it was year round. Additionally, there's both premium and classic coffee beverages, and they even have some coffeeless alternatives such as smoothie and chai chillers. Oh, and keep in mind to try out their juices and warm cocoa! There are a few food items available as well like donut holes, bagels & breakfast burritos. BR even offers a decaf medium roast and a sweet medium roast substitute. Many aren't aware that BR has a charity option to buy coffee to help fund community water projects in developing countries. What a wonderful thing! The staff is always on point and the service is fairly quick for how busy they get. My go-to is a honey cinnamon oat milk latte. They are very consistent and always make it how I like it. The staff at the window is super warm, friendly, and always makes good conversation. Good coffee, but they always seem to be out of large straws. It's fine if you don't order extra large drinks, but for us that do - please stock straws. Been coming to this location almost every four days maybe three days out of the week some days are great other days aren't so great. I normally put in pick up order is because at that time. I am on my way to work, but why make a pick up order if I'm going to have to wait 10 minutes more Before to get my drink after the pick up time I would think it wouldn't being a pick up order, it will be ready and this time they didn't even have my name on it so they didn't know what my order was I seen then grab it & put it back in the fridge why wasn't my name on it c? . I'm starting to like other locations the one on Queen Creek and the one on Higley I would expect barista to be welcoming as soon as they see a person walk in the store on pick up instead of paying attention to one customer fully, the girl working at the cash register today was inconsiderate . She was wearing a brown shirt , Hispanic & could've said hey ma'am, do you have a pick up order I'll be with you shortly. She did not , she gave full attention to the other woman . After shopping for vinyls near by my kids and I decided to stop for some coffee and energy drink. We decided to hit the drive thru and stay in our cozy air conditioned car. Today this location opened with $2 medium drinks. The drive Thur was 25 cars deep. Inside there was no line. This is a standard BRC. If you dig their vibe, you'll love it. There was a snafu with the cold brew machine & I'm not sure how you break a cold brew "machine" but the iced Americano wasn't bad at all. It's two blocks from the house. I'll be back soon. This is my favorite coffee in the area. Pastries are okay. But the coffee! I usually get their cold brew with some cream and flavor, but their Italian soda also rocks. My husband likes the blended drinks. They do run on the sweeter side if you get flavoring but they'll adjust it however you need. Nothing seems to be off limits. I have been to two locations and the staff was wonderful every time I have gone to either one. I have been trying to veer away from Starbucks so I've been trying out black rock coffee and I can say that it's pretty good. Came to this location and they were busy so I didn't mind the wait. When my coffee was ready, one of the employees came to me and apologized for the wait because she thought I was one of the drive thru orders so my coffee had been ready for a minute.
