The almond paste gave them a pronounced nut flavor as well as a slightly chewy bite. **Monkey Bread pastry -- although fresh tasting, it was a little dry and only mildly flavorful. Another huge plus is that they know about my weakness for blueberry crunch donuts and usually have them in stock.
