Feeling in need of a different breakfast other than my usual oatmeal I stopped into Providence Bagel. What we have here is not just bagels but bagels on steroids with delicious additions. I chose "The Friar" that has a perfect balance of chewiness and softness, like a cloud with a backbone. It's a huge bagel with the holy trinity of bacon, lettuce and tomato that adds a burst of flavor and a gospel written in sesame seeds. "The Friar" Bagel isn't just a breakfast option; it's a revelation--a testament to the transformative power of carbohydrates and the divine artistry of the bagel-maker. So go ahead, take a bite, and let the culinary enlightenment wash over you. Your taste buds will thank you, and so will your sense of humor. Amen to that!

The food was good other than the fact that they were out of almost everything! They had very quick service and the space was nice!

I was really excited when this location opened as I live on this side of the state and wouldn't have to make the trek up to Providence anymore. I went in for an iced coffee and a bagel. I got the cookie butter iced and an Asiago bagel. The bagel delicious, the iced coffee nothing to write home about. The location was DIRTY. Trash everywhere. Floors, counters, tables, outside under the picnic tables. There were two girls working behind the counter and slammed with over 20 people waiting in line. Not sure if it's always this busy with only two people working, if so that should be adjusted for more help. In the future I will stop back in to see if it was an off day.

Super friendly staff, amazing cold brew, even better bagels! Easy parking and indoor seating! My go to is a whole wheat everything with plain cream cheese!

The Chai Latte I ordered tasted like water and the staff was rude and rushing me through my order. The bagel sandwich was good though.

Best bagel I've in Rhode Island so far. Perfect chew and tenderness. Super fresh! Highly recommend. Sincerely, a Jersey bagel aficionado

I am so glad we did, because this is definitely a new favorite spot and worth the drive over the bridges! It was a rainy afternoon, and my grandma and I rolled into their ample parking lot to get some coffee and a midafternoon snack. The shop is sparkling clean with plenty of seating at cafe tables and a cozy couch section. The clientele was a mixture of students from URI and professionals working remotely. All were sipping lattes and seemed happy - a good vibe right from the get go. The barista was upbeat and knowledgeable about the menu, recommending their house made Pumpkin Spice Latte (I had to try it!). I am so glad I did, because theirs is made with pumpkin puree, so it's not sugary or cloying like other varietals you may be familiar with. We were also informed that all their baked goods are made fresh daily, and I was pleased to see the pastry case was clean as well (this is a less common occurrence unfortunately, than you would think). We tried the Blueberry Muffin, and it was FABULOUS! I am already looking forward to going back and trying more. Don't be fooled by the humble roadside plaza exterior- Fuel is certainly worth the stop.

Everything on the menu looked good. I ordered the Vermont burger, with candied bacon, and onion rings on the side, and it was delicious. My husband got a Philly steak Benedict, from the specials menu, and liked it. We also got a side of cornbread which was very good. My mom ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich, which was my second choice off the menu, but I'm glad I didn't order it, it wasn't quite as tasty as the burger IMO. When we left we struggled to move the tables, as my aunt has a walker, and I did feel like the staff should've helped us with that. Other than that, waitservice was fast and friendly.

First look at the menu, you start drooling, so many great options. Since I was with my girlfriend (who has Alpha Gal and is allergic to red meat) I try not to eat red meat when we go out. They were happy to substitute the ham for avocado on my eggs Benedict. The eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The hash browns for me were a little under seasoned. However next to the salt and pepper they had some hot sauce, a little addition of all three of those and the hash browns were great! They have many different coffee flavor options, service was great. While they were busy they let us know that, and apologized for the delays. We were not in a hurry and will be back again the next time we are in the area.
