Picked up a mobile order through drive-thru that FPO placed. In addition to the 50 munchkins that I knew about was a surprise for me, an Avocado Toast without bacon but add on a Fried Egg. I understand Dunkin is trying to be relevant and has added on some "healthier" options to their menu, but the avocado toast is a gross example that healthier food is not in their wheelhouse. It looked like it came to the restaurant pre-packaged in the delivery truck days prior ... take off the plastic wrap, microwave, and serve. It was soggy, chewy, and gritty ... and somehow burnt along the edge all at the same time. Not quite as disgusting as it looked, but it was close. (And FPO was upset that the different munchkins were just layered one on top of the other so all the jelly-filled were on the bottom. Apparently, everyone in the office loves the jelly-filled the most.) The service was meh. They were polite enough once I initiated a conversation but hadn't said anything prior to. It was pretty obvious the workers weren't thrilled to be employed. Through the drive-thru window though, there was a wonderful smell of strong coffee and doughnuts, and the interior looked clean and bright. The location is conveniently located along SMP and directions to the drive-thru were very easy to follow. So, that's positive. All in all, that location is lucky there is no direct competition nearby. Personally, I don't eat doughnuts very often, so I don't need to settle for convenient. read more

I've been buying my morning coffee and donuts from this location for many years despite the other options featured around Shawnee. My coffee is always on time, my donuts are still toasty by the time I get home, the prices are incredibly cheap for a coffee joint in 2025, the atmosphere is friendly, and the staff are exceptionally equipped for their jobs. Whether it's been packed, pouring down rain or snow, no matter the circumstances I've never seen them frown or act bothered in the slightest. I even met my girlfriend there, she used to be a team lead. 10/10, highly recommended if you want to save money while still getting your caffeine fix. read more

Last time I was here they burnt my avocado toast and I gave them a poor review-today it was perfect so I'm balancing out my rating

This was my first time here! I did a mobile order and when I got there to get my order they didn't have one of the things I ordered and I told the girl " that's okay, please give me something comparable" she stated that they didn't have anything comparable and just to order whatever off of the menu. I expressed this is my first time here and I don't know what you guys have. She said just pull forward, so I pull forward and she says nothing to me just hands me a bag as I tried to talk to her. She closes the drive-through window and walks away. I sit there for a couple minutes. She goes back by the window and then turns around and walks away again not looking at me and not acknowledging me and one of the things that she gave me, I was allergic to because she gave me a blueberry donut. It was extremely rude and unprofessional to say the least! It didn't look like anyone else was there or I would have gone to management. Will not be returning and will make sure no one I know goes there. read more

The food is great obviously it's Dunkin as well as the coffee, but the workers are so slow. It took me 25 min to receive my coffee when they weren't even busy. There were 4 people back there not including the manager. They asked me what I was waiting on finally after sitting there for so long. And me coming up to them. My food had been done for awhile sitting there, and now it's cold. After they asked what I was waiting on they were like you're just waiting on a coffee. I don't even know where to begin. First the service was terrible. We came in to order and we had to repeat our order multiple times because the employee taking our order was talking to another employee. All we ordered was a drink and 2 breakfast sandwiches straight from the menu. Took 10-15 minutes to get our food. You would have thought they were short staffed but there was 5 to 6 employees working. Some standing around complaining and one was saying they were "done with this job". We then got our food and it was wrong and my sandwich was cold. I will probably never come here again. Service was great but not anymore. read more

This Dunkin' went from 5 stars to 1. While they're still friendly, the service and quality has bottomed out. I'm not sure exactly when but it feels like 6 months ago it went from a family owned Dunkin' to a corporate run Dunkin' and now service stinks. If you literally anything other than a donut or beverage you have to pull around, park and wait. To that, the food doesn't feel all the way cooked. It's like the cheese is thrown in last minute and it's cooked real quick to get it warm but not melting. read more

Sorry for this review but I either give good reviews or bad only if I am moving on due to multiple bad experiences. This was strike 3 for me and I have been going to Dunkin for years. Strike 1 was just poor service and I wrote it off to a bad or busy day, still a loyal customer at this time. Then my very next visit was going to be through the drive through and the line was very long like 8 cars back so I decided to go into the store to order. I walked up to the counter and after I asked for service they responded "please wait"...ok after about 5 min I again asked for service again "please wait" (there were 3 people walking around behind the counter). then when all the drive through was through they decided to help me...Strike 2 ok still just busy?? no I was the only one in the store besides the drive through...this last time which was the next (and last) visit there were 2 cars in the drive through so I decided to go through, big mistake...My wife followed me that day and she continued on to work as I stopped for donuts. I was at the order speaker for about 2 min and asked anyone there?? no answer...again are you open?? "please wait" hmmm. waiting like 2 more minutes and again Hello?? "please wait" 5 minutes later "how can I help you?" ok ordered and went around the corner to the window and the person in front of me was still there?? Waiting like 2 more minutes and moved to the window. window closed but I can see 2 workers walking very slowly and 1 person in the lobby? then waited another 5 minutes and someone opens the window and all they said was "did you pay?" no I gave her my card...she gave me my card back and the receipt. waited again I could see a worker filling a box with donuts but it was for the person in the lobby...then my wife called me and asked where I was?? I told here still in the drive trough?? she said its been 25 minutes...Yep. Then then I saw her put a drink at the window? I did not order a drink? but I think it was for someone behind me? But about 5 minutes later I did get part of my order and had to ask for the other part they said that would be $$ more I said I already paid for them?? after some checking they realized I did... Strike 3 and your OUT!! I don't care for crispy cream but they are the next closes donut shop here so they will be getting my business now... I was just there ordering my coffee, like I do everyday same Dunkin never have a problem, this morning it was different. I was rushed ordering, then when I received my drink it tasted like coffee and coffee only so I asked for them to remake it. The lady at the window was very nice and said it'd get remade, well she walked away and let the GENERAL MANAGER handle it, well she brought me my drink rushed it and handed it out very rude with an attitude so I asked if she was manager yes she was general manager and I just asked about somebody above her who not give me the information. I'm a fan of Dunkin Donuts, but my experience this time around was pretty average. I stopped in during happy hour, though it was around 3 PM on a Friday and not too busy. I had planned on using my free birthday drink, but with medium iced coffees being $0.99, I went with that. I also had 'checked in' on Yelp before going in and gotten a free classic donut for doing so. However, when I went to use the offer, they refused to accept it. The person who I assume was manager or overseeing the employees said she could not accept it as there was nothing to scan and said none of the locations in the area accepted it. While not a huge deal, and having worked customer service, it would have been nice if she would have honored it. So fair warning, don't expect to get the check-in reward at this location. I do have to say the gentleman working the register was very kind throughout this. He reccomended cream with the cookie dough flavor in the iced coffee and it was good (not too sweet, perfectly creamy). He even through in a donut hole with donut I ended up purchasing - a little gesture that I appreciated! read more

As we passed by we went to drive thru and ordered a dozen donuts. I'm giving 2 stars because the whole box of donuts was lacking any frosting on the top. Meaning normal donuts are frosted all across the top let's say 100%, but the ones I got were half heartedly 65-70% covered. When I ate them I didn't know what the off taste was, but now I pinpointed it when my hubby ate his french crueller and we didn't know why it was already hard when we bought it 10 minutes ago. The donuts we were served were old donuts not fresh tasting from this morning almost has a day old flavor. But I could be wrong we picked it up at 4pm. In the beginning this was a great location however every time we visit now something always gets messed up. Today I got a Boston creme without the creme. The time before that my drink didn't taste anything like it should. They shove donuts with frosting into the same bag and they either get smooshed or the donut that doesn't have frosting gets covered. Basic customer service skills were not being practiced when I visited this morning. I was greeted at the counter with a stare. Then it took several attempts to ring up my small order. My bagel was nicely toasted, and tasted great. Unfortunately, when the rush was over, the employees spent their time complaining about customers instead of paying any attention to keeping the dining area clean. This used to be our go to location. We usually order the same drinks everytime we come through but our last visit we were given the wrong size and the wrong kind of drink and the manager actually had the nerve to blame us for ordering the wrong thing! Seriously? Maybe as a manager you should make sure your employees read back what is ordered after the order is placed. Never been back and I frequent the location on Metcalf as they are 100% friendlier, they read back your order after it's placed and they offer my pup a pup cup everytime they see him. It's Dunkin. Perfectly fine for what it is. I grab a small latte for the ride home two or three times a week. No flavor added. I consider coffee a flavor. At the Shawnee location the coffee is always fresh. You can tell it hasn't been sitting out. The store is clean and most of the time the servers are very friendly and typically share small talk since it's slow late afternoons. As of November most locations are offering medium lattes for two dollars between 2 PM and 6 PM. read more

First I pulled up to the menu, I waited 5 minutes before speaking into the speaker and I got no response. I waited another 5 minutes intermittently saying hello. I got no response, I drove around and there was a girl elbows on the counter staring into space. She finally noticed us and said she would be right with us. I explained what happened and started to give my order. She said to hold on got her manager who explained that there equipment doesn't pick up jeeps so I would need to come in the store if I was interested in purchasing from Dunkin. I said so if you drive a Jeep you can't use the drive thru and she said oh no you can drive around and try and get someone's attention. Don't worry we'll take care of you and left. 10 minutes later the girl cane back to the window not to take my order but to tell me to pull back around behind the 4 cars that had built up behind me and then they would take my order at the menu. I said you are going to make me go to the end of the line? She sarcastically said no I'll just get it for you and left without taking my order. So I drove around 10 minutes later we get back to the window to get our order, I'm thinking I'm going to get a thank you or another apology or my order comped. That was not the case, charged the full price - donuts and the 2 orders of donut holes thrown in the same box. Sadly most of the donuts were stale. If you drive a Jeep apparently they won't help you in the drive thru and they are not too interspersed in providing quality food with good customer service. Krispy Kreme is worth the few more minute drive down Shawnee Mission Parkway. read more

Had an issue with pricing where an Iced Caramel Latte was $2 more than the same drink ordered on the app. Was handled very poorly and we were rudely cut off multiple times by the cashier on duty at 3:30pm on 12/6/2020. Manager came over and was even more rude and struggled to explain the difference in price. Ordered the same exact drink on the app for $2 less and went around the drive thru, and was once again rudely interrupted before I could even get the name out. Customer service was awful! read more

I usually go to Starbucks for my coffee but lately they've been out of oatmilk and I enjoy Dunkin's as well. Well today I went to this location like I've been doing the past few days and ordered what I usually do and decided to add some donuts. I ordered 5 glazed munchkins and 1 jelly donut and the lady taking my order was super nice to me. Then I get to the window and the man standing there asked which donut I ordered. I told him the jelly one. He then proceeded to say, "oh have fun with that" as if referring to the jelly maybe not being his favorite, which is totally fine. He then walked around the store telling everyone working out loud the event that just occurred as if he felt embarrassed. He may have been, but I felt just as if not more embarrassed just sitting there watching them talk and laugh directly to my face. I then received my things and he told me my total and then just completely walked away from the window as I had my phone ready to pay. Everyone just stood there staring at me for about a full minute while he continued to explain his embarrassment aloud before paying and leaving. I then opened my donuts after driving away and THEY WERE THE WRONG MUNCHKINS. So the donuts they didn't talk about grossly in front of their customers didn't even get into the bag. Filthy bathrooms, tables not wiped down. Ordered a bagel, was given it warmed up, unsliced, no cream cheese. I guess this is the standard way DD serves them, but seriously, who eats a bagel unsliced and dry?!?. Coffee was average, crullers are great, breakfast sandwiches are bland.
