When the owner is not present the children they hire are slow, and on their phones and drinking fraps and not serving the customers! It's amazing how one bad experience can completely change your view of somewhere. We come here often and usually have good service. The last few times it's been ok, not as good as normal but nothing horrible, until this last visit. Which unfortunately will remain just that, a last visit. We went through the drive thru and made an order I have made many times at this location and many others. I specifically asked for the 2 for $6 bacon, egg and cheese croissant sandwich but with one of them can I put the bacon on the side. The only response to this was ok. However when I pulled around and saw my receipt, I was not charged the 2 for $6, was actually charged $2 more which included an extra charge for a side of bacon. There was no side of bacon. I told the employee at the window that we did not have the bacon and we weren't charged correctly. He then turned to a supervisor or manager asked them something. However he only returned with the bacon and said "If you have all your food now you can have a nice day." I then repeated that I was charged incorrectly, before I could even finish my sentence I could hear the superior screaming from the back "That is not what she ordered, she got a different sandwich and it doesn't count!" The window employee then advised us "I can't help you, I just work here.". It was $2, does it break the bank no, however the whole situation was handled completely unprofessionally and shows they really don't have any customer service. Firstly, something should have been said when I ordered 2 for $6 and made my request. Like "We are sorry but (for some ridiculous reason) we cannot offer that option for your sandwich ". I cannot have red meat due to my disease, my 2 year old however loves bacon, so Since I share everything with him, I usually eat the sandwich and he just has the bacon. If I had known you couldn't just leave the bacon on the side I would have just accepted both sandwiches with the bacon on them and just pulled it off for my son. This obviously didn't happen and so the issue with the receipt could have also been handled better. The supervisor should have came to the window instead of screaming at me and the employee from behind the scenes and maybe explained it nicely. Like I said, none of this was handled professionally and due to the rudeness from both supervisor and employee, I will not return to this location ever again! I just wanted a "little somethin', somethin' " treat so I went to Dunkin Donuts for a couple Boston Creams. I tell the female cashier (initials C.A.) what I wanted and she just tosses my two Boston Creams in the bag with total disregard. One of my donuts landed upside-down, CHOCOLATE SIDE DOWN! This has happened a few time lately between the two Dunkin Donuts in my area, so I have started checking before I leave, otherwise the chocolate sticks to the bottom of the bag. I mentioned this to the employee and with a very IMPERTINENT attitude and without making eye contact she grabbed my donuts back and put them in two separate, little bags and then basically TOSSED THEM back on the counter, UPSIDE DOWN!!! I turned the donuts over, right-side-up, but when I got home ALL OF THE CHOCOLATE WAS STUCK TO THE BAG!...IDIOTS!!! Never, ever am I the type to take time out of my day to leave a review but this I find necessary mainly just in hopes that management sees it and can show it to said employee. This isn't really about anything that happened in the store because well nothing did, but when I called about my food a high pitched male voice answered (if this helps identify said employee) and I am the very shy and timid type who finds it hard to even call about things in the first place, 9/10 times I let it go, especially because I work in fast food, so trust me I get it. So I am very sure that there is a zero percent chance I could have came across as any type of rude. He answers the phone and I very politely said "Um hi I was just calling to see if maybe you guys could write my name down for me to come back and get my food replaced--" and before I could even finish my sentence of what was wrong with the food the employee cuts me off to shrill out "um actually I'm gonna stop you right there and hand you off to a manager because that is no way to start off a conversation" I was so shocked!!!! Maybe because I've worked at Chick-fil-A for quite some time I'm used to things being handled differently but woah! I was just so taken aback I just started stuttering and said "oh okay- I'm sorry" He made me feel bad for no reason at all, I had to reflect after the phone call and think to myself woah did I come across demanding or rude? I wasn't even asking for any money back, I offered to return the food or bring it back to show what's wrong. Maybe that employee should never answer the phone again if he is not prepared to handle guest complaints. I wasn't even complaining or demanding, I simply was stating my reason for calling. I'm still unsure to this moment how else I could have explained why I was calling. How did he want me to start the conversation? I thought I should get to the point because they were busy- should I have asked how his day was? Has nobody today yet asked him and that was the problem? Somebody check in on this boy because he is popping off on customers when they are the ones inconvenienced in the first place. Maybe apologize on behalf of the mistake even if it wasn't your own, and offer steps to a resolution. Manager I got passed off to handled it well, and we had a nice conversation so I'm unsure what triggered the initial person who answered the phone. There seems to be many negative reviews about this location, but I had a wonderful experience here today! I went with my grandparents, and all our donuts seemed very fresh and still warm! They made my coffee perfectly! I always ask for a TINY bit of cream, and I always end up with more than I wanted! But this location did it so well, I'm thoroughly impressed! Also, I HIGHLY recommend the Thin Mint flavor! It's delicious! The lady working the register today was very friendly and happy. She was able to joke with my grandpa well, which I know he appreciated! This D&D always burns the bagels when toasting. I've even asked for "lightly toasted" and always receive black/burned bagels. One-time I even received a terribly over-cooked/rubbery egg to boot. Coffee always tastes burnt and they never add enough cream or sugar (other D&D's always get it right). Not sure what the difference is compared to the Dunkin' Donuts on the corner of Spring Hill and Barclay (in the Gas station plaza), but the service and quality are like night and day between the two shops. The manager messed up our order 3x and was very unprofessional. Was very rude! I spoke to the general manager Sean about his behavior. I also told him how his store has a reputation of messing up orders. Sean proceeded to tell me that is was one persons perspective and he wasn't worried because since he took over this store it hasn't been in the negative. We sat here for like 2 hours filling out job applications with their free WiFi, so I'm sure the employees were tired of us after all of that. I'm not going to review a DD because they are all the same, but what is up with not being "allowed" to refill coffee into any cup that isn't plastic? This is what is wrong with America. I have to throw away a styrofoam cup that I JUST drank out of and buy a whole new coffee and get another cup that I'm going to throw away a minute later. This location is really busy during the mornings, and it seems to be that they are under-staffed. With a line of about 20 people, there was only one cashier working. However, despite the crowds and rude/impatient customers, the employees were very friendly with us. We ordered a dozen donuts, and they tasted fresh and delicious. I visit Dunkin across the state every day, Brooksville, Cortez location wins the prize for worst customer service/management. It took three times to get a simple order correct and every time the disheveled sloppy hungover "manager" was more distressed with me, the customer, simply wanting an order that I paid for initially. It's not the customers issue if you or your staff are unaware or their duties, nor is it the consumers responsibility if your pulling the early shift after a long night. There are certain standards that need to be met in the customer service industry, to the OWNER of the Dunkin on Cortez in Brooksville, evaluate your staff, certainly from a leadership/management perspective. This Dunkin' Donuts is a joke. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of nice employees here but the bad employees ruin the experience for the returning customers at this location. Obviously when you go you don't know who is gonna be there and you just kind of hope for the best.. which isn't how a customer should feel. I'd say about 40% of the time I go to this location my order is wrong. If I order whip cream on my drink it's because I want whip cream on my drink.. so forgetting the whip cream is messing up my order. My favorite part of my latte is the last half that I mix the whip cream into, so when it's missing, it's a disappointment. Not to mention $4.25 for a small latte (w/ almond milk) isn't cheap, so it should be made how I ask for it to be made. Again, there are some really great employees here but the owners don't know how to properly run a business and it shows. First of all, train your employees. One time I went inside and the poor girl didn't even know how to make anything we asked for. I asked her if it was her first day and she said no, she had been there two weeks already. Other customers were lashing out at her but it wasn't her fault. Also, you'd think management (by management I mean the owners, not the other managers) would set an example for the rest of the employees and show their customers respect and courtesy but that's quite the opposite of what you get from them. read more

Giving one to start for this location is very generous. inaccurate orders, burned coffee, and horrible customer interaction are normal here. Their latte machine is frequently broken. Their coffee taste awful. Believe me I have tried to like this place because it's on my way to work. But after numerous attempts, I finally got the message; "go to the Starbucks next door!"
