It's so sad, I suggest Daylight shut down this franchise to protect its reputation. Once word gets out at GSU this year about how badly this has declined, this place will likely close itself down. Now my only donut choices remain Dunkin and Krispy Kreme. Whoever owns this place, thank you for destroying a downtown treasure here. My husband had a coffee with caramel and French vanilla in it along with a sausage egg and cheese croissant. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the cashier mentioned an up charge for extra flavor. I've never paid extra for more than one flavor in a coffee. The frustrating part is that the restaurant was only about a third floor. There was no reason for such a complete lack of attention. Seeing staff focused on rolling silverware, checking phones, while customers were being ignored made the experience even worse. The pancakes and bacon were excellent, but the grits were very clumpy and inconsistent. I rate the food seven out of 10. Our bill is nearly $100 and they were plenty opportunities to turn this into the first experience unfortunately service made us decide to take our business elsewhere and we definitely wanted to order so many more items seeing that this is only our first time here.
