It's over $3 for a small cup of hot coffee. Over $3. And this Duncan never has any donuts. Everyday they sell out of everything, very early. The name is Duncan but it was dunkin' donuts. I always say, this is the WORST Dunkin' Donuts in the WORLD. I wish I could give it NO STARS. I only go there out of convenience, hoping they'll get things right. Yesterday, I had to pull out of the drive-up line, because nobody was taking the order of the person in front of me. I went inside, ordered what I wanted and the kid who took the order disappeared into the kitchen. So, I stood there waiting. Another kid tried to make my coffee order, but the milk dispenser was empty. He didn't know what to do and ran back in the kitchen. I could hear the manager yelling at him. He returned with a large jug of milk and filled the dispenser, then walked away. I'm still waiting and wondering what is going on. Finally, I said something to girl behind the counter, and she filled my order. Also, I reported this store to DD and the county health department a while back for sloppy and dirty conditions. Convenient location, fast and friendly service as well. The parking lot is very tight and drive through hard to use when using a hummer or a vehicle of that size. Inside is slightly dirty and they have bees inside. Tops of the ceiling fans are COATED with thick dirt and dust. It need a good cleaning that's for sure. read more

My drink was incorrect and there had to be at least 10 people coming in from the drive through to complain because the workers messed up their orders as well! One of the guys ordered a box of a dozen jelly doughnuts and got 9 doughnuts and not one of them were jelly even though the thing of jelly doughnuts was full. The lady helping him didn't have any respect or feel bad at all for making him wait 20 mins for a very messed up order. One of the people in my group ordered a cold brew with cold foam NO WHIPPED CREAM and the workers gave her half a cup of whipped cream with the coffee and no cold foam! what if she was allergic to whipped cream!!!!?!?! This is my favorite dunkin. I go here every day. They never ever mess up my order and everyone is super friendly. The drive thru can get a little sketchy at times because of the volume of cars especially during ski season but thats not the fault of anyone inside the dunkin and they really are very quick and efficient! I realize the silliness of giving a review for a Dunkin Donuts because I think we're all aware of how terrible Dunkin Donuts is so it doesn't really need a review. This morning I am especially impressed with the Vernon New Jersey Dunkin Donuts, already a bad start. The only place to get coffee other than Burger King, which honestly I've started and it's sad that that's the future that we live in I was told they were unable to sell an inced Americano, I then asked they just pour it over ice . To which I was explained that they can't make it and it will require a specialty drink. The cashier told me "yeah yeah yeah no I know I work at a coffee shop I know". Is dunkin doughnuts a coffe shop or a doughnut shop. I ask because their doughnuts suck. If I could give 0 stars I would!!! These young kids at the drive thru are so unpleasant and unprofessional. When I got to the window to pay for my drink a young brown haired girl was laughing and pointing at me when I got my drink. While this was going on the other worker was looking back and forth from her to me and then walked away. So as anyone would now after that I believed at this point that they have put something or did something to my drink and asked for it to get remade. What a joke - Dunkin in Vernon. My first trip a week ago I rec'd coffee instead of tea. I sat with my hand out the window for five minutes while the girl with leaf tattoos squatted at the window in uncontrollable laughter - five minutes is a long time when these kids are just playing around and getting orders wrong. Today my daughter picked me up a tea - ha ha jokes on me again - it was coffee with tea bags in it. When I went inside the same girl with the bun and tattoos was at the counter - she thought it was funny again. At least they gave me tea - but in the same cup - they didn't even switch the cup. When I asked for info on the manager nobody could provide it. They suggested that I try calling Jackie at 7:30 tomorrow morning. These unsupervised kids are there to have a good time and need to realize the severity of making someone ill by serving the wrong items. They need to be taught customer service and held accountable to service standards. Parking is always an issue at this location, and if you opt for the drive thru, you're going to have to wait a while before you get your order. The coffee can be a hit or miss. Every single time I come here, my order gets messed up somehow. I always ask for "two vanilla frosted with sprinkles." The first time I went through the drive through I just get regular vanilla frosted, same as the second. The third time I checked, and I was just given one donut. The next time I went, they charged me for three when they put two in the bag. Then, I figured that if I went inside to get my donuts, then maybe I would get what I wanted. Nope. The coffee is always DD'e level of quality, but my espresso is so hit or miss and it confuses them every time I order! Double espresso I say. Untrained staff isn't so bad because usually they are friendly. What really gets me is the inconsistency in pricing. One day it's 1.94, the next it will be 2.18, and the following 2.35! Ashamed to say being from Vernon and this DD is terrible, today I ordered bacon,egg and cheese on a plain bagel they never even asked if i wanted it toasted the bagel was burnt I mean BLACK what a waste of my money. When I see a line at the vernon one I go to the Hamburg one on Route 94 its not a drive up but the food IS GREAT always ask if I want it toasted and never is burnt. One night 5pm I stopped in Vernon to get Boston crème donuts and was told they were out and they only had a few different ones left, so the next night I went to the Hamburg location and they had 2 trays of Boston Cremes and tons of other FRESH donuts. I was there with my family after we went skiing last month. My family is mixed and this guy who's name was Matt was making fun of Mexicans in front of us to another guy. So we left, there was an Asian couple that left too after hearing this guy talking to his co worker friend. They were saying how horrible it is to work there with all these "spics and foreigners" coming to their store. This is the slowest Dunkin Donuts I have ever been to. Staff seem like they aren't motivated and are very pokey. I waited 15 minutes in drive through for 1 cup of coffee and maybe 2 cars ahead of me. 5+ of those minutes I was at the window with my coffee sitting there with no acknowledgement from the staff. Possibly the worst Dunkin I have ever been to. If I could put negative stars I would! First I waited for literally 7 minutes at the drive thru before getting to the speaker to give my order. I then waited at the window for an additional 4 minutes for my order. While I was waiting I got to hear the person preparing my food yelling about how gross it is. Rather than acting ridiculous maybe they should just do their job. My food was no longer appealing to me. I wasted my money and time. I've never been at any Dunkin' Donuts drive through for that long. If I wanted to be late for work I would have gone to Starbucks, paid more, and gotten better service. This place is the worst Dunkin Donuts Ive ever been to. I travel alot and by far this one takes the cake for being the worst. Lucky me this one happens to be in my home town. They seem to be more expensive than most locations for some reason and all kidding aside one cup out of ten cups of coffee will actually be made the way you ask. Most of the time if you ask for it light its basically milk and sugar with a drop of coffee. If you get a regular usually its practically a black coffee. Even if you give specific instructions everybody has a different idea of what size a sugar scoop is. One guys using a teaspoon meanwhile the guy next to him is using a ladle. At $2.50+ a cup it better taste like liquid gold. Walk down any street in Vernon and ask the first 5 people you see what they think of the local Dunkin, 4 out of 5 wont have good things to say, the other guy goes to Starbucks. read more
