Why is Sarah C not posting a pic? Is she a mole?I love that they offer a variety, for instance; today's Special is pumpkin spice morning bun...yummy, yummy. These ladies love what they do and they have passion. It shows with every attention to detail in their shop. My recommendation if you have a concern would be to address it with them directly. They are more than happy to accommodate. They are known mostly for their variety of croissants and they offer not only sweets, but savory quiches as well.

Delicious Quiche with tomato & bacon! The inside was light and fluffy & the crust was flakey !! Loved it !!

My boyfriend and I came to discover Two Teaspoons on Valentine's Day weekend. I heard wonderful things about this place from my coworker and wanted to discover it for myself. When you enter Two Teaspoons, it's like stepping back in time--into a bakery somewhere in France. I have been to Paris as a teenager and this bakery in the heart of Hamburg rivals any fine French bakery that I have visited. The music playing overhead was some beautiful romantic French song. The tables were adorably lined with vases full of fresh flowers, just like in Paris. The assortment of cookies, pastries, and cakes were plentiful. I had a slice of the cherry pie and my boyfriend had the coffee crumb cake. I also had a medium cup of coffee, which my boyfriend enjoyed almost half of and he never drinks coffee!! The service from Maria and Brittany (the owners) was top notch. We can't wait to come back and try something new next time. When you go, just make sure to get there early before they sell out of your favorite pastry.

Ordered a custom-made I Love Lucy cake for my mothers surprise 60th birthday and Brittany & Maria exceeded my expectations! The cake was brilliantly put together. My mother cried tears of happiness and it truly made the night! Thank you again Two Teaspoons and I will be ordering more from you and highly recommend you to everyone!

Such an awesome gem! My parents told us to pop over there for some Brioche buns and we are just so charmed! Delicious pastries, excellent breads and you can even pop in and get a piece of quiche and a coffee in the morning. So glad this place is in Sussex County!

I was initially lured in by the good Yelp reviews. I liked that I could do everything online, I had a particular vision for what I wanted my birthday cake to look like and they communicated with me via email that could make my vision come true. I had a birthday celebration at a restaurant, which I asked The Evercake to have delivered directly to the restaurant. The delivery was smooth and the restaurant had the cake before I even got there. The cake was very cute and did look like what I had pictured. But...what I majorly disliked was the actual taste of the cake and being misled about what the contents of the cake would be. I selected the strawberry shortcake option for my cake and what I got was not what I thought it would be. I think it's quite normal for a strawberry shortcake to have like...real strawberries in between the layers. My cake didn't really have that, and if it did it was hidden in all the strawberry jam that there instead. I was not a fan of the cake texture too and the cream outside of the cake. Overall I felt so sad that I was feeding this to my friends and I told them that they didn't have to finish it because I wasn't going to either. So embarrassing :( Would you believe that this flop of a cake was nearly $200? And that's after the 10% coupon. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because it wasn't completely bad, but the cake not tasting good was the biggest thing for me. I would have preferred it the other way around at least, like if the service was so bad but the cake tasted amazing, but unfortunately that was not the case for me. After digging through the reviews some more, I found that this happened to another customer as well. I wish I had seen their review before ordering a "strawberry" shortcake from here lol dang

They ended up not enjoying it, so that's why there's some missing and none of us wanted to eat it anymore! Spoke to Suzi when picking up the cake and explained to her that the cake would not be eaten on the day of, but instead two days later. The cake was for September 1st and that happened to be Labor Day so I had to pick it up earlier! She said, "That's fine," and it can be stored in the fridge for up to a week and in the freezer for up to three months. So, not sure why there's a sense of judgement, cakes should be able to be stored for longer periods of time! And we wanted to order from a bakery specifically, since it was a special occasion. Not sure what your reference to a "squished" cake has to do with it food will accumulate residue in containers overtime! 9/12/25 From seeing professional pictures online of the beautiful cakes on Google Reviews of Suzi Cakes and good reviews on Yelp, I genuinely thought that the red velvet cake I ordered over the phone with Suzi would be amazing. Boy, was I wrong. I had to throw out the cake after 6 days because no one wanted to eat it anymore. We gave some part of the cake away to a relative, so we didn't consume much...not sure if they enjoyed it either. There were 'red' flags that I noticed when placing an order with Suzi. I chose to ignore them because I needed a nicely catered cake for my sister's birthday. Suzi sounded very direct over the phone and sometimes dismissive, so I felt that I needed to truly know and prepare for how I wanted my cake each time I called. I could not go in person to explain or show pictures due to the distance from her business in East Hanover. Suzi gave me the listed price of $90, and I personally thought it was overpriced for a 7-inch, single-tiered cake. I originally did not want to place with Suzi, but I could not find a place around me that would do a red velvet cake legitimately, besides Coco Luxe Cakes in Peapack and Gladstone. Coco Luxe discontinued their red velvet cakes, unfortunately, which is the cake I truly needed, hence why I ordered here. Next, trying to find the suite number and building for this place was a nightmare, another red flag. It's very tight behind some train tracks and very easy to miss. Thank goodness for advanced technology and Google Maps/Street View for helping me navigate. I called Suzi on the phone so she could service me at the front desk to get the cake. I picked up the cake and truly believed that I would make my sister's birthday special, and I planned everything perfectly. I stored the cake in the fridge for 2 days before eating and followed all of Suzi's storage directions. We tried the cake and it was awful. It had a fermented-like taste, and we could not eat it. I saw a similar review on Yelp of someone having Suzi make their cake for their wedding, and their wedding guests could not eat it; it was that bad. I was hoping that would not happen to me, but it did, surely. The icing was hard, dry, and chunky; the cake itself lacked flavor. I got a red velvet cake from ShopRite in July for $16.99, and it tasted way better; just the cake was a little dry. I called Suzi to give her some feedback so she knows. She informed me to come back so she could examine the taste, but at that point, we threw the cake out. $90 truly wasted. Can't really ask for a refund, I guess, because I never came back to her about it, because her location is almost an hour from my house...not sustainable for me. Despite the good reviews, I will never go to Suzi Cakes again. I will stick with another recommendation I got from a relative for Coco Luxe in Peapack if I want a professionally made cake from a bakery. My sister's birthday was ruined, and no one in my family liked the cake. The price for the cake was outrageous, and compared to other local bakeries in the area, the price does not justify the taste. The presentation of the cake is good, but the taste is abysmal. Save yourself, your palate, and your wallet by looking elsewhere!

Suzi Cakes could not have been nicer or more accommodating with just 2 weeks notice. The communication was so simple, professional, and pleasant. They delivered the cake exactly when they said (in the pouring rain) and even placed the topper and flowers on it before leaving! And then the cake itself...oh my yum! We did Vanilla with Oreo Mousse filling and it was DELICIOUS. The cake was so soft, fluffy, and flavorful. And the filling was awesome! I know I've found my new bakery for future events!!! Thank you Suzi Cakes!
