free whipped cream treat for the pups,.
    Laur R.

The cashier was very friendly. If you ask they will make your dog a whipped cream treat like starbucks puppucinos if you are missing Starbucks like I was. There are no starbucks on 301. Dunkin' donuts provides a delicious alternative to breakfast and coffee with many iced drinks. We sat outside and enjoyed a breakfast on our travels.

Great place. Just what you would expect at a Dunkin'. Great coffee as always and tasty donuts. Most of the staff is spot-on with courtesy and service, but a few need sharper skills. Overall, worth stopping by.

You know, I think this place has been in Waldo across the way from the giant horse for a very long…read moretime, but I never really acknowledged that it even existed until just a little while ago. So I figured I would give it a try. Pulling up, it is very non-descript. Looks kind of run-down, almost like it isn't open except for the neon sign saying that it is. Walking inside, you are presented with a small room to the left with a couple of booths and a couple of tables to the right, along with a counter with stools in front. I figured the counter was the place to be at a diner like this, so that is where I sat. The staff eventually got to me with a menu, and took my drink order. For my lunch, I went with the burger and an order of fries. They took a while to get out, made fresh (I assume) in the kitchen. I will say that the price is appropriate for the food, and the food is fair. Nothing really outstanding, but not bad either. What really stood out to me however was the general attitude of the staff. It was just... sad. They just didn't want to be there, resented working there in the first place, and had no qualms about showing that in their demeanor to everyone visiting the restaurant. Sadly, what this does is bring down the atmosphere of the place, which means that the guests don't really want to be there either, continuing the downward spiral. Frankly, despite there being so few places to eat in the Waldo area, I will most likely not be returning. I would rather drive up to Starke or down to Gainesville than eat here again.

And a breakfast to die for. The country fried steak among the top 10 I've ever had. Eggs and bacon cooked perfectly, biscuits and gravy, and grits just fine. Plus a super reasonable price, so what a deal. The kind of eatery you wish you had in your neighborhood.

My boyfriend got a cappuccino with strawberry syrup but we didn't really taste the strawberry in his. Regardless, it was delicious. We also got one of their biscotti which seemed like they made in house but I'm not sure. It was yummy, but definitely was not a very traditional recipe. It tasted more like a short bread than a biscotti but still very yummy. We walked out to the food truck to get some vegan bites and they definitely met expectations. The crabby patty was delicious with a great texture, and my boyfriends patty melt was also super good. We shared a mac and cheese and honestly I was full before we even got to that. The Mac and cheese was great but did taste a lot like coconut so if you're not into that then maybe veer away. The ambience was a mixed bag. The initial shop that you order the coffee in had a very cozy vibe with great decor. If you walk past the patio into the overflow seating the vibe changes a ton. The decor felt very uncanny valley, back rooms, like very odd. I think they need to work on that side of the property a little bit and make it more cozy. Maybe it's a work in progress or maybe they like it that way, I'm not sure, but it wasn't the sort of vibe that made me want to stick around. Overall great experience though! Will be coming back & hopefully I can get seating in the main shop ;)

I came with a friend for dinner and we got food from the food truck, where all of the menu options are 100% plant-based. I got the mojo tacos and for my chosen protein I went with the fried fishless filet. The two tacos came on corn tortillas with pico de gallo, queso fresco, pickled red onion, mojo sauce, and lime. Each bite was so refreshing! The lime gave a citrus kick to the sweet pickled red onions. The fried fishless fish was tender and flaky like real white fish. I was thoroughly impressed with Curia and think it's one of the most unique places in Gainesville. Check it out!

It's in downtown Keystone Heights. Julia's has a very nice corner spot with a few tables outside. The side of the building that's "street side" I guess looks dirty and unkept. The inside is nothing special. One side lined with booths and some tables in the middle. The other side though, has an amazing window area looking out over the Main Street and downtown. In my opinion it isn't utilized very well. There's a couch or some tables. It's not very inviting and could be a perfect people/parade watching spot. They had the usual amount of flavors, more Blue Belle than Hershey. My son opted for blue Spider-Man cotton candy bubblegum as usual. My daughter and I both chose the German chocolate cake flavor. I chose cups over cones for all bc we were traveling with them. It smelled like delicious pizza (that we did not try) but after seeing the pie I knew it was from a frozen truck. There were other menus items like shakes, floats and fries but we just had ice cream. The cashier wasn't friendly and seemed impatient with me as I couldn't decide on a flavor. Her annoyedness carried over to the register. You're not missing anything if you skip this place!
