The Love Me Nots is a good example, composed of donut holes fried together and glazed and topped with jimmies, it tasted like glazed bread. The rocky road donut was a cake donut that was also composed of a not sweet enough and overly dense chocolate donut with a chocolate glaze and barely taste-able marshmallow drizzle. The chocolate raspberry was just ok One of the two donuts we did like were the Neapolitan because it was topped generously with a vanilla cream, a chocolate drizzle and a strawberry glaze. The toppings were prominent enough to sweeten the bite. The best of the was the mint chocolate chip filled donut which was filled fully and satisfied our sweet tooth. Unfortunately, the boston cream donut tasted like the chemical smell you smell from a nail salon. It felt like I was eating that smell. The sour cream donut, also great looking, had the perfect texture and the right amount of powdered sugar dusted on top. That one tasted like old fryer oil. I'm super disappointed. The brown butter biscoff is my personal favorite, but my office goes nuts for all the flavors (including lemon raspberry, crumb cake, dark chocolate sea salt, and ganache) when I bring a box into work to share. I also love sitting in the shop itself as it's beautiful inside, and they have a little kids section with a play donut shop that can entertain my 2 year old son for a half hour (which is not an easy feat). On top of it all, they have gluten free doughnuts that are truly delicious! My husband typically cannot enjoy doughnuts, so it's a real treat for him to get to enjoy them here.
