Excellent paint but terrible customer service. I waked in and there were a few people waiting ahead of me. I was was not acknowledged in a timely manner even though there the three employees at the counter. After calling a fourth employee to the counter (two employees were not helping customers), I placed my order and was told to wait in my car and that someone would bring me my order. At least I was asked which one my car was. After waiting for 30 minutes I went back inside. There was no urgency for anything. People standing around pretending to be confused. Maybe they were...I overheard them talking that they gave my order to another customer. Sure enough I was handed something different than what I ordered. It turns out the last one of the item was given to the previous person. I understand this COVID situation requires some adaptation for the business but I was underwhelmed by the customer service here. This reminds me of a visit to Popeyes in the drive through and they run out of chicken before serving your order. Popeyes sells a superior product like Dunn Edwards but with customer service similar to Dunn Edwards. read more

If I could give NO STARS I would. This Dunn Edwards Exquisite Matt finish paint is the WORST ever. It goes on like glue. An awful experience! I tossed out the $300.00 worth paint I bought from Dunn Edwards. I ended up buying Benjamin Moore Regal Matt finish paint which went on the best with no problems! read more

Had a big painting project going and needed some major help. Every employee I worked with from the paint designer to the xou ter clerk to the paint mixer were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I had to come here about 7 times to make samples which I highly recommend and puck up paint and lessesn % of paint formula to make the perfect color. The store can get busy but this awesome crew is ready and happy ro help! read more

What a great customer service rep Robynn is! Went in last week with what I thought was my perfect color scheme. Had sample sizes made, came home-applied them on test walls & hated them! Came back today and told her what I picked looked terrible. Told her what look I was hoping to achieve...she knew exactly what to show me, took 4 more samples home (she even applied a coupon for 1 free! Yippee!) The newly suggested colors are PERFECT!! I recently had the exterior of my home painted. I visited many paint and home improvement stores, but when it wasn't until I decided to give this Dunn-Edwards a shot and was pleasantly surprised. I was assisted by Tom who, along with the rest of the staff made me feel at ease about undertaking a big project. They were very knowledgeable and patient while providing my excellent customer service. I will definitley be going back once I start my other painting projects in the future. Cold, sterile and unfriendly location. The female employee greeted me with the top of her head while she worked and a half assed "hi. welcome to dunn edwards" I half ass replied "ok thanks" and went on my merry way. Straight to the paint samples. Found what I needed and walked right out to give said samples to my painting contractor for my home. Wish they had a better selection of browns, but the other color choices I had were perfect. Appreciative that the employees weren't breathing down my neck, but if I owned the place I would want my customers to have a better experience than that. read more

The sales people in this store do not know their own paints. I ordered 2 gallons of exterior flat paint for my facia boards. I asked if this paint was self-priming and their answer was we don't sell self-priming paint. So I wanted to know what happened to those paints. There answer was we have never sold self-priming paint. I was pretty mad and demanded my money back, which they did. I look online and Dunn Edwards still sells self-priming paint for solid staining wood. DON'T GO TO THIS STORE! Go to the Riverside store. Arch knows his paint! read more

A few months ago my fiancé and I went here to pick a few paint samples. The old man at the counter could not be bothered. He was grumpy and rude. We walked out with a bad taste in our mouth, not wanting to return. Fast forward to this week, I hired painters to paint the inside of our house. The painters use Dunn Edwards paint, so I had to go back.... Thankfully my experience was so much better than the first. Keisha helped me pick paint colors. She took her time and got a feel for my taste and the areas I would have painted. I picked 4 colors. She was amazing. I took a risk with two of the colors and love them. My house looks beautiful. I came in to pick up a few samples of paint and an employee named John Bowers helped me. He was so nice and such a gentleman. He went over with me the certain types of paint that usually go on different materials of the house as well as the difference between glosses. He answered all of my questions and explained everything to me so clearly. I am so thankful for Bree, the paint color expert at this location! She is both personable and professional. When I first walked into the store to choose three colors for my entire house, I was overwhelmed by the myriad of choices and felt lost. Bree to the rescue! She patiently listened to my preferences, asked me relevant style questions, and gave me excellent assistance in selecting a white, grey, and green shade that I love. She even took the time to write out the paint color name and number, kind of paint for each room and trim, and the specific primer the painter should use to cover the existing dark walls effectively. My husband and I just bought a house, and the previous owner left the paint cans from when they painted the interior. We're redoing the fireplace and needed some trim. We were running some errands and initially stopped at this Dunn-Edwards, but the kid there (Charles I think) didnt know what he was talking about, tried to tell us our wall and trim color were the same (they're not) and was just really frustrating. It took him like 5 minutes to actually recognize the colors were different and basically told us there was nothing he could do unless he knew the formula. We left frustrated and went to the Moreno Valley location where they knew immediately that the colors were different and color-matched the custom one. I needed some paint samples right away so I called this location. An employee named Lawrence answered and was able to mix my samples while I drove to the store. I arrived 10 minutes later and my samples were waiting for me. The only reason they lose a star is because the location was a little hard to find but the customer service was top notch! read more

Called this store on 4/6/2015 just after 11 am, and asked for residential paint department; this person did not state his name and was very rude and nasty; had to end up calling the acting manager and complaining. I refuse to buy paint from this store because of the poor customer service! There are plenty of other paint stores like Lowes and Home Depot. read more

This Dunn edwards paint store was amazing. The employees really made me feel welcomed and like i was of their usual customers. I went in on a Saturday afternoon a couple weeks ago to get some color charts. As soon as i walked through the door i was greeted by 2 young men behind the counter. I purchased a few samples and it only took a few minutes and i was on my way. I returned a couple days laters to buy the gallons of paint i needed and again i was helped out by a young man named Philip. He was polite and helped me out to my car.
