Excellent advice and products. Especially the paint department and stocking General Finishes.

This store is pretty awesome! It is like a Home Depot. It is very clean and organized. I really liked how they had the different tool brands very color coordinated! And throughout the store they had some pretty cool items! I also liked the old country design inside and out, it kind of reminded me of knots The only downside was the customer service at the register. My boyfriend was trying to buy a electric hand tool that had a big sign that said $99 and at the register it rang up $199. We let her know the sale price and she asked us oh was it a Friday frenzy? And I had never been to that store and I was confused and so my first thought was that they were already tagging sale prices for the time for the next day and I asked if she can honor the price and was a bit hesitant to call a manager so instead we just decided to not take the item. I would have liked if she would've better explained the way that sale worked instead of asking us the customer but now I know for next time I go to Check what day the sales are for. The item that I wanted was a Friday frenzy at that time and now it's Friday sale is an everyday sale!

Disappointed with a Service (ISRAEL VAZQUEZ-COR). I spent thousands of dollars this summer having my outdoor patio build. All material from Ganahl lumber. I decided to go in myself and purchase one of the last items (Gabel plate) I wanted. It's true when they say, it's hard to find good help. As Israel brought out the book or manual he couldn't answer any of my question. I specifically told him, I wanted it for a 4 x 4 and he still got it wrong. I called back to try and order the right part and was told by him it would be a 25% restocking fee. So anyone reading this, if you special ordered a part and it's wrong one it's a 25% restocking fee. I felt he initially didn't want to help me out and on top of that he ordered the wrong part. In a way it worked out, I upgrade the 4 x 4 and they put a 6 x 6 for me. Just do your research or have the contractor buy everything!

I haven't shopped much at Ganahl Lumber over the years cause I looked at this as a contractors store. Recently during a remodel of our home, we were searching for glass panel doors and Ganahl Lumber was recommended to us. How pleasantly was I surprised!!! Not only do they have a very large section of lumber, they also have everything you would need for a remodel, especially some items that would be a special order at other large box chain stores. Louis Avila in the Door department made shopping very easy. although I didn't know all the terms, he understood the application and the additional parts I would need for the installation. Here's the best part... I ordered on a Monday, and the doors were in the very next day. Everyone was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and patient.

    Picking up more lumber!

Hi! I needed a new…read morenut to go on the bottom of my 1 7/8 inch ball. Somehow, I lost the one I had while hauling the trash trailer on the ranch. I thought getting one was going to be a cinch. Nope! I started at Home Depot, no luck. Then Tractor Supply. Shockingly no luck there either. Then it dawned on me... when all else fails, go to Ace Hardware! To increase my chances, I went to the Ace Hardware in Horse Town USA! If anyone was going to have trailer hardware, they would! Right? Not to be disappointed, I walked in and the friendly cashier asked if she could help me? I showed her what I needed. She said they had them in Hardware. Go to the back of the store and someone will be there to help me find them. I showed the nut I needed to the gentleman who met me on the isle indicated and he was like, Of course, we have those.". He took me to a cabinet full of nuts and pulled out the one I need! It was great service. No hunting through all the drawers myself. What a time saver! You may pay a little bit more for what you buy at Ace Hardware. But, the service and the fact they probably have the unusual thing you need, more that makes up for the slightly higher price! Good job Ace Hardware in Norco! Jim

This is by far the best Ace Hardware store I've visited. I under that each Ace Hardware location…read moreis independently owned and operated. However, the Norco one stands out because of the following 3 factors: friendly staff, knowledgeable customer service, competitive pricing. I've shopped here several times, but I decided to leave a review today because of the charcoals. I was at a different Ace Hardware store to buy charcoals, but it marked up the item by 45% compared to the online pricing. I asked if they can match the price and was told no. So I called the Norco store, confirmed the availability and pricing, which was exactly at the online price. And now I'm walking out with 3 bags AND some wood chunks. No fuss, no muss. Even if this is not the closest Ace Hardware near you, you might wanna call this store and talk to a friendly and knowledgeable staff to get what you need at a fairly competitive price point. Now I'm gonna go home and smoke some pork!

There's 2 floors at this location and the first floor is where you will find the paint, paint brushes, floor coverings, tape, etc. The second floor is mostly filled with tons of wallpaper and different types of wall coverings. They have more in stock than Lowe's and Home Depot put together and if that's not enough, they have 2 walls full of catalogs of wallpaper you can order and have it get there in about 2-weeks. I love the paint quality of Vista Paint and I recommend them without reservation.

The ONLY place in my area. They have tons of books, and tables to spread out with your paint chips and fabrics you brought from home. They even have in-stock rolls, but those are mostly rather dated and ugly in my opinion. I stuck with browsing the books and happily came up with several winners to choose from for my new, tiny bathroom. The only caveat is the massive stairway you must climb to get up there. The service? You might have to speak up to get their attention, but once gotten, they got me taken care of just fine and were very friendly.

At this visit, I needed to upgrade my landscape and needed fresh annual and perinneal flowers as well as a restock of garden mulch. The garden section is located at the side of the store and there is a lot to look at. However, there is rarely any staff in the Garden area to check out or find prices so I had to as the Customer Service employee to page an employee in the Garden Area. Took about 10 minutes to get an employee to help me out. After visiting this section, my husband and I visited the lighting section. We walkt to look at new indoor lighting to modernize our home so it was nice to see all the different varieties that this location has to offer. Again at check out the pricing scanned that came up didn't match the one on the floor so had to get the manager to finalize what the price of our ceiling lamp should be. Basically, this location has a huge variety of items including power tools, lumber, paint, flooring, appliances, lighting, plumbing supplies, garden plants, patio furniture, hardware, and seasonal décor. However, just make sure you double check the pricing as it is being scanned. Parking is easy since there's a large free lot right outside the store, so loading bigger purchases into your vehicle is pretty convenient.

I am writing this review to report an extremely disturbing and humiliating incident that happened…read moreto my husband the day before Thanksgiving--an experience that no customer should ever have to face. My husband went into Home Depot with a pipe in his pocket, purchased a new pipe, and left with his receipt in hand. He then drove next door to Dollar Tree on McKinley. Moments later, things escalated in a shocking and terrifying way. The Home Depot store detective falsely accused my husband of theft and told police he had stolen the item. Because of that false claim, police confronted my husband inside Dollar Tree, yelling from the door, "Get your hands up, you are arrested!" in front of employees, customers, and families. He was completely blindsided and humiliated. Even after showing proof of purchase, the detective still took his receipt and the item he had just bought. Police then put him in a van, took photos of his tattoos, and treated him as if he were a criminal--all because of a false report made by the Home Depot detective. This happened despite the fact that my husband is a homeowner in Corona and a former Home Depot manager from the Inglewood location. To be treated this way by a company he once served is disrespectful, traumatizing, and completely unacceptable. No customer deserves to be profiled, accused without evidence, or publicly humiliated. Home Depot must take responsibility for the actions of their loss prevention team and ensure that this never happens to anyone else. There was no apologies. They only said I guess it was a misunderstanding.
